  1. The only goddamn thing that is mentioned in the damned diary is the old BTS and a newer clue about the wolpertinger! Nothing else is in that damn article that I have posted!
  2. Don't flatter yourself. You're not important enough for me to feel better by insulting you.
  3. There's a difference between supporting Jagex and supporting damned stupid ideas such as yours. I have a great idea! Let's ban all the people that play in Asia! That'll solve the problem. Or wait, I got an even better one! Let's make people unable to make accounts! That'll stop it for sure. Oh wait, it's been done already?
  4. The TIF also follows the RSOF Code of Conduct. If you were to post that thread in the RSOF, it would be locked because the Rant feature is about ingame features. People are not ingame features. Jagex cannot change people.
  5. The only thing listed that was told in the dev diary was the Behind the Scenes back in 2004. Everything else was either found by myself after digging through the old news list or by going through the old letters, or from people getting things in game. You've editted it since I posted but you had the wolpertinger, whihc is mentioned. You had the spirit wolf which is a given as its right there You had the old bts, whihc is there You had the tower of life which is in there You had the bulldog ad/image which is in there. When I posted the chaos elemental was the only thing you listed that was not right there on the front page as obvious as a black cat standing in a bright red room in broad daylight with 8 spot lights shining on it and a large saying "black cat here" The dev diaries does not specifically mention the spirit wolf, you had to actually look for the name. The Tower of Life was never mentioned in the dev diary. I never had the bulldog ad and never will put it up because at the time it was put in the KB, it had no direct link to summoning. The old BTS is the only thing that was in the Dev Diary. I actually discussed the wolpertinger on the TIF chat the day the Nov. BTS came out but had no clue what it was for. So you saying that everything I have posted is mentioned in the Diary (exception the Chaos Elem) is false. The only thing actually mentioned was the old BTS. If you can somehow tell me where it mentions anything about the Tower of Life, Malignus, or any other topic with the exception of the 2004 BTS in the Development Diary, then please copy and paste the article.
  6. The most valuable item is on the top then it is unpredictable. So say you have a dragonfire shield and a whip, the dfs will be the first item but the whip could be anywhere.. even under a pile of 25 sharks. The items are in order of most expensive to least. So the dfs will be on top, and the whip will be right under it. Jeeze, how hard is that for you people to understand.
  7. I agree with Paw Claw, this thread has very little use, due to the fact that we all know that summoning is coming (be it a good or bad idea, I'll leave that opinion to you). So digging up hints about it in old bts seems pointless as we know it's coming, why did you decide to make this thread? It's not about the upcoming skill, it's about old references to the skill.
  8. I can get the spirit wolf, but I don't think I can go back and find the wolpertinger.
  9. The only thing listed that was told in the dev diary was the Behind the Scenes back in 2004. Everything else was either found by myself after digging through the old news list or by going through the old letters, or from people getting things in game.
  10. Yeah, this has gotten WAY off topic...
  11. Well, what's wrong with my posting my rant? By the way, the Rants forum is for ranting against ingame features, not people.
  12. I saw that 9k hammer thing. He was saying it was now easier for other people to collect hammers. I can probably get like 10k an hour or more if I tried, while at Catherby.
  13. Yeah, Blossom's idea is best. With Mario's, there is the ability to double-up the stakes to transfer the money. With Blossom's you can't double up. Then again, I still stick with my original opinion that any stake cap does extremely little to help stop rwt.
  14. Well, the minimap doesn't move, I don't think. The game screen does. So over time, the game screen will no longer be aligned with the minimap.
  15. Thanks, my future career is in cinematics.
  16. It'd be good except for a few flaws. Say someone is buying 10m gold. Well, the person buying doesn't have anything 10m in worth and only has a rune scimitar. Here's what they'd do. The seller would offer 25k for the stake, the buyer would offer his scimitar. The seller loses and the buyer now has 50k worth in items. The next duel the seller stakes 50k, the buyer stakes his scimitar and 25k. Then they'd just double-up the stakes until all 10m had been transferred. Keep Jagex's original idea of stopping real world trading? I think not. I myself think that the cap did very, very little to help with RWT. EDIT: Dang, Ho3fel beat me to it.
  17. Wow, you people are dense. You're all saying "If it's being suggested, then that means people must not use the current one" and "It's already been added, use the filters at the bottom." Look at the damn date! He suggested this back in August! Months before the new chat tabs were added! Just let this thread die!
  18. Yeah, if you haven't noticed by now, the screen shifts every couple of seconds. It's what misplacedme said. An anti-macro method.
  19. Yes, we totally need this so I can waste 30 seconds every time I log on to remove my hat. Flaws: The person can just get himself killed to drop what you're wearing then switch to his account to take your stuff. Let's not forget a PIN to use our inventory. While we're at it, let's put a PIN to log in, a PIN to do an action after you log in, a PIN to drop items, a PIN to trade, a PIN before you go into the wildy to get killed and lose stuff... What the hell happened to avoiding getting your password taken in the first place?!
  20. All the expensive items are on top. You won't find an Abyssal Whip buried under a ton of junk. Therefore, the suggestion fails.
  21. You may be thinking the God Wars Dungeon resulted as your suggestion. I doubt that. I've found clues about the GDW back in January 2007, 3 months after you suggested that quest. The clue was released by the Chaos Elemental: "Way down deep where the frosts are clearing, way down deep where the dead are still fighting." Taken from the Postbag From the Hedge 15. I'm not sure, but I think there were other things even older references to the GDW than that. Give me some time and I can find another that dates back before your suggestion. I have great suspicion that it is faked.
  22. Well, I've seen a lot of things that Jagex has announced would happen that didn't. But plans change and projects are redesigned.
