Smithing iron knives - possible to profit?
Bugmeat replied to game_proffy's topic in Help and Advice
I was going to say that buying bars is loss since I've also looked into Iron Knives to get 69 smithing. : Your calculations seem good so go with that, or you can do arrowheads as mentioned above. Another alternative would be Calculating a way to make profit with crafting battlestaves then spend that money on a faster way of smithing. Either way, it's up to you. -
Actually I'm pretty positive that 1 HP exp = 4 xp for that style (Attck, Strength, or Defence) Controlled style is 1.33xp in all three per 1 HP xp If you're looking to grind I also support going to armoured zombies take a bunyip and pray melee, you don't even have to bring p pots since the altar is right above. More info is in the Archive of Wisdom thread mentioned above.

I've already been told that maging metals is a bad idea as it wastes money but I'm sitting on about 2k Bloods that I've racked up through barrows and killing monsters and I've decided to mage metals instead of waiting for them to sell. The problem is I've never been to metals as I've never gotten a task for them, so if I'm using Air Wave what's the best inventory I can bring? Other than an axe, coins, and the Blood Runes. Thanks in advance. :D

When the banner with the figure standing on a ship many was put on the RuneScape site argued whether or not there be a Sailing ship or if the cape even had a Sailing symbol on it to begin with. The thought has dawned on me, though, that the current banner on the RuneScape site is obviously Lucien with the staff of Armadyl and one of the previous banners was argued to be a teaser of the dragon platebody both of which were tied with the Grandmaster Quest recently released. Now I was never a supporter of the Sailing skill to begin with but could there now be more plausibility to it's release if these banners truly are signs of things to come?

Well it is a guild, but at the same time the Behind The Scenes implied that it will have the new mini-game there as well. We all know that a majority of the mini-games have low requirements as it is. 40 for Pest Control, I've seen level 3's in Castle wars, and I don't think Vinesweeper really has any either. So to be "fair" to all the players, I think it will be a pretty low level requirement. And sadly, I think this guild will also be f2p. =/ Why would they make a guild to have more people runecraft? It's the players choice as to what skills they train, I highly doubt it's in JaGeX's agenda to make people want to runecraft. It's just a guild players may have been wanting. I don't know the numbers nor am I sure I'm 100% correct on this, but I do think that there was a poll asking about guilds in the past, this just may have been a choice as well as for a new mini-game. 40 is a good guesstimate, but not because it makes people train the skill. If anything I hope the only prices it effects will be Essence. I've been RuneCrafting lately for cash so I'll be a little upset if it lowered rune prices as well. The reason for this speculation? Vinesweeper is a farming minigame with seeds for possible rewards. RC minigame might have possible rune rewards? :ohnoes:

Interesting quest idea, especially the bit about the uses for the planners. RuneScape History is always a bonus as well. As nerdy as that may sound I still find it very interesting. Not sure I'm into the whole "very, very difficult" puzzles though, as there would surely be much griping about not enough fighting and too much "urgh, brain hurt." Challenges are always fun but nothing too extreme. The xp gains sound reasonable for quest length as well. I like it, Boris. Very nice.

I'm not going to label it a fake right off the bat. As was said on around page 2 Hunter was accidentally revealed for a small period of time as were the Chivalry and Piety prayers, IIRC. But I'm not gonna talk about "Sailing" anymore. I saw a post on RSOF I actually found somewhat believeable. Perhaps it's just the Summoning cape? I know the color is way darker but perhaps it's just a result of the darkening sky around him? And at the same time the dragon seems to be coming from his direction. In fact, looking closer at the icon on the back of the cape it seems to be an opened mouth, head, neck. =/

Jagex - Launching two new games next years.
Bugmeat replied to kieranread's topic in General Discussion
Sure, five years *is* a lot. But does this mean they'll soon drift away from RuneScape and put most of their effort elsewhere? Being 5 pages and all now, if this is already been pointed out, I apologize. I only browsed through. :-w -
