  1. Thank you salad170 for this suggestion, before i incorperate this into the main post, what does everyone else think of this suggestion? Adding that to your suggestion would leave an open hole for 'RWT via Hackers'... All a hacker would have to do is steal your account, then make a killing off of selling it to an RWT corporation... That kills even the thought of adding it to your suggestion. :!: Sorry for the damper. :( ~Mr. D. V. Devnull Lol all comments, if constructive, are appreciated so theres no need to feel bad Lmao. Lol come on what maxed out total player could get hacked? they prob know the ga,e and have a good pass I must admit, you do give a good point. True, but remember that players who have maxed out their skills will probably feel that they have completed the game and will probably want to quit soon. What's stopping a player from selling his/her account to a RWTing company and getting a cash reward for finishing the game?
  2. This should be in bugs and suggestions. The only changes that castlewars needs is more rewards.
  3. Wow, that's nice of Mod Dave to do that. Nowadays it's rare to find such a personal touch in Jagex, so this is a step in the right direction.

But what about worm-holes? I've heard that you can 'skip' distances by folding space, and then you could view the light that got through the long way round, taking hundreds of years to do so. Then you could view the Earth with your insanely powerful telescope and see it as it was hundreds of years ago. Why do people think that the 'light barrier' has to be broken?
  5. Agreed, a lot of people wanted to get that Omni talisman and free up quite a few spaces. I do, and that's why I'm training for level 50 anyway. The money will come later when PvP worlds arrive and I can sell the runes. This is a bad time to be levelling up the skill for money, but this is a good time to be levelling up the skill for the guild.
  6. Wow, that's awesome. I'll remember that one, thanks!
  7. Agreed. Why are we speculating when we can't do anything about it anyway? If the world ends, so be it.
  8. I'm going to help again, but I'm back at 5%. Got rid of most of that Canadian flag in the P.
  9. He is an NPC that can be found in varrock castle, he is very pro-saradomin. I think he appears somewhere in the myreque story line. Ya i know him, but im just saying that this is the first time we hear his real name (correct me if im wrong) and for some reason i find that name kinda fishy, come on...Aeonisig??? A name with history, I'm sure.
  10. Hur Hur Hur. Explain. I'm going to find out how people have reacted now the graphics are respectable amongst MMOs.
  11. This is also my sentiment regarding Jagex's POV. I'd like to point out something else as well, though: the new emerging form of gold farming (paying someone to log onto your account and earn gp for you) does NOT impact Jagex's profits, aside from the possibility of losing membership fees due to banning accounts. This method does NOT invoke bank refund fees or inordinate amounts of customer service dedicated to fighting RWT, which are the two chief problems that plagued Jagex (from a business standpoint) prior to their sweeping anti-RWT measures. In this situation, Jagex is the only entity which has the power to harm profits (by banning accounts), so the company is in quite a conundrum - knowingly allow illegal activities to occur, or lose money by punishing those offenders? Regarding the topic title, RWT never went away and it's only marginally strong. I don't believe it compares at all to the levels it was at prior to Jagex's anti-RWT measures. If it ever does become that prevalent again, it will mean that gold farmers have found a more profitable method than directly logging onto players' accounts and, I'd be willing to bet, it will again adversely affect Jagex's profits. At that time we will see action from Jagex due to monetary motivations, but until that breaking point, we're all just going to have to live with it; the simple truth is that Jagex has no choice but to tolerate RWT to some extent. Agreed. This type of RWTing is less invasive to Jagex, and so they can afford to tolerate it for now. What they could do, though, is flood RWTing forums with decoy players. Jagex makes accounts similar to the average player, asks for various 'services', but bans them once it's time to hand the account back. The player complains, refusing to send any money, and the RWTers try to give another account in compensation. That gets banned. And so on. Eventually the RWTers reputation goes down the drain. Make decoy RWTing forums too, to trap customers. I know it's nasty, but it could be effective.
  12. I agree with you, but they are making french worlds, where 'je' certainly won't be blocked. Just because you hear it in real life doesn't mean that you would want to hear it in a game.
  13. Does it matter? There may be no point in lending rares, but does there need to be?

Loved this one. Same here.
  15. There is, actually, they can go down, but it's virtually impossible for you to lose a grade. Good luck. They'd have to have done something ridiculously wrong for that to happen yeah, but its about 30 quid per remark if they dont change it. Oh man, I forgot to mention, I tried a remark for English Language because I was 1 mark below an A. My mark didn't budge, at all. It didn't even go down. £30 down the drain. :wall:

You broke the rule, you got black marks. The reason why you got 5 is that giving out your MSN is a very serious offence.
  17. Someone hired someone to try to do this? That doesn't make any sense, this is a fansite for a game. At least we didn't crash.
  18. I don't think firelighters should be tradable, the fires are something you show off for something you did, not what you bought. Oh, make flatpack construction items rare in cluescrolls.
  19. It isn't morally wrong, but it isn't a very nice thing to do and does go against the purpose of the Trawler. Jagex should just ban magic on the boats, because it doesn't help the minigame - much like non-combat items are banned in castlewars.
  20. Digestives (chocolate or regular) for me. I'm not really a fan of dunking Hob-Nobs. But if it's milk you're after, Oreos every time.
  21. That's where my dream job is, but I bet it's so competitive that it's ridiculous.

So, add more worlds? They can do what they like, anyway. If they lose efficiency and drop rates, that's their loss. Jagex has to pay for servers you know, so it isn't as easy as that to solve the problem. If they added too many worlds, the prices would plummet as well (I think). Yes, but I wasn't thinking of that many worlds. There's no other sensible way to solve it. Jagex can't just stop people using a poor technique.
  23. Due to inflation, the actual cost of membership is only very slightly higher than what it originally was. It's just gone down slowly over the years and readjusted itself back to normal again. It isn't some kind of evil scheme to cheat us out of our money. ;)

  25. Uh, Silv, I think you better take another look around your house... :uhh: Awesome story anyway. :
