  1. Heh, we once had a lesson about the symbology and origins of the phallus. He didn't mind and we didn't mind. Sure, it was funny, but it wasn't offensive and overall we learnt a lot. If nobody ever got offended the world would be a much better place. (To the author) Hang on, are you going to have the suspension in the future or are you doing it now...? Is it too late?
  2. I agree, but I think a combination of both is in order. Not only limiting the calories etc., but giving more priority to education about food as well.

The closing ceremony was awesome. Now that everybody's seen Boris Johnson in all his shining glory, what do people outside GB think of him? :)
  4. It would be nice if we could hold other tools like fishing rods and stuff as well.
  5. I remember having a discussion about this clever loophole before the forum rollback. Yep, it's technically legal, because there's no rule stating that allowing yourself to die purposely to another person you know is not allowed. It's the act of giving back real world benefits in exchange which is the real illegal part. But, they can't tell whether you did something in the real world in exchange or not, and they will ban you. As warriorccc0 eloquently put it: Jagex doesn't give a rats arse.
  6. Oh God, I hate that phrase. What defines "constructive" anyway if RS isn't? Admittedly, I can get away with the excuse that I'm Skyping my friends, and that's constructive in their books (possibly because they can hear me communicating). Even then, what we say to each other is rarely "constructive" anyway.
  7. Keep up the support!
  8. I agree, they should have done this much earlier instead of making BH, then there won't have been that much of a problem with PKers, and stalling economies.
  9. Saskatchewan. Learn it. Anyway, the only thing I can say is "Bad luck, mate." Hopefully you'll have a better b-day next year?
  10. It would be easier to just leave things as they are. Removing Castle Wars, BH, etc. as well as all the quest buildings would take a lot of unnecessary effort. And what will they put there... I think an easier method would just be to disable them. Make people unable to enter castlewars, BH, clanwars, etc. Make it so people cant start any quest or continue it. Im sure they have a centralized system for questing so it can be that hard. With minigames? Its only a few and its just a few lines of coding to disable a minigame. Why do they have to though? BH would be unavailable anyway, people might try their hand at doing a quest in a PvP world for the challenge, castlewars and clanwars would be really interesting if you could lose your items... It wouldn't take that much effort to just make some minigames pvp as well!
  11. Or, you're talking bulls--t... Reminds me of a certain.... Nevermind. But yes, I don't really believe any of all this revolutionary training theories. Waterfiends and Rock lobsters are the best. I have a method that gets me 200k magic xp per hour and makes me around 500k in geepees. So yes I do believe in revolutionary methods. I also know a way to get 50k craft xp per hour and make about 300k per hour. It's all about thinking outside the square. You're desperately failing to impress us. We rely on proof, not claims.
  12. They're not idiots, they're geniuses!
  13. yes i didnt wanna end up bald and i only lost like 12m i already have it back \ You don't care about twelve million gold, but you care about an altered hairstyle that takes two minutes and no gold to fix? Are you mentally unstable? lol...2k to change his hair back... are u kidding me its 12m gp when u have like 20m u can make like 12m a day from merchanting and no it cost a law, a water rune, and a staff of air if u dont have 1 so thts like 2k i dont wanna waste 2k and time on hair ...what? Have you even heard of spell check, let alone reasoned argument? What are you saying? :?
  14. Or, you're talking bulls--t... Agreed. We can keep on looking, but there is every chance that it might not exist.
  15. I've had that once or twice, but it's not that bad for me. They're planning to get rid of some of the randoms anyway.
  16. The only ones I actually buy are trailers for movies, but of course I never judge on the ad alone.
  17. I haven't been cursed, but that's probably because my parents aren't good at running programs like that without my help. Anyway, I'd find out the password soon enough. \
  18. I wonder what Lenin would vote for. :? EDIT: I would vote Obama by the way.
  19. I do this almost all of the time, and it really annoys people who are sitting next to me. I have no idea why I do it though.
  20. How is it possible for someone to get suspended for calling someone else stupid? I suggest getting your parents in because it's obvious she was trying to get you punished for some reason, it's unacceptable for her to manipulate teachers like that.
  21. They produce runes, arrows, bows, food, potions. They're all Pking supplies and will benefit skillers hugely if the demand increases. Not only that, monster hunters which supply the high level weapons and armour to PKers will increase in number as that becomes more profitable. And they need runes, arrows, bows, food and potions too. A nice little chain is established, giving big profits to the producers, and easily available supplies to the consumers. Recipe for the Golden Age of Runescape, no?
  22. it's the 6 or 7th most spoken language in the world... Then shouldn't they be working on the 3rd-5th most spoken languages first? It is rather simple, the point of adding new language servers is expansion now even though there are more spoken languages still to be added, most of the time there second language is normally english, for example most european countries have many rs players (already on english servers) chinese is pointless, because they have more advanced and popular mmo's in asia (WOW, among others) so the chance of expanding there is minimal, until they mass-improve runescape to a higher level, non-java based maybe? now portuguese...many south american countries speak portuguese, for example brazil (it there main language) and they are expanding economically so therefore they have more cash, and free time than say 10 years ago, this coupled with the fact internet is becoming more accessable there and english is a less spoken second language there...this means we have a winner for expansion =D> I agree with you about the expansion thing, but the asian market is not a lost cause. I'm sure there's plenty of asians who would like to get at a MMO without all of the sometimes pricey accessibility issues that often come with these games, probably equally as much as Western gamers.
  23. It's never been a problem for me. :? Aren't they planning to get rid of these random events anyway?
  24. If I ever do anything badly at school, RS takes the blame and I'm banned for two weeks or a month. Mysteriously they never ban me from TV. If something really important like revision comes up then they won't renew my membership, which is pretty much a ban but not so sudden. On the flip side, getting a great big wad of A's and A*'s in my GCSEs has practically given me immunity from bans at the moment. When it comes to punishments, my parents always attack RS as the sole cause. However, Runescape should never be considered as 'educational'. School is 'educational'. Courses are 'educational'. Runescape is not 'educational'. The only thing I have ever learned from RS is how to type quickly, but probably not properly.
