That's why if you don't wear any equipment, it states 0kg. However, if we get more anti-gravity items, we should be able to lift into the air.

Won't work, as people have already said. But would it work if it was then done so that it was restricted to 2 worlds (free and members) where everywhere but the wilderness and perhaps a small area below the ditch is inaccessible? It might eliminate the occasion of quiet areas for transfers to function and make BH a bit more free-for-all-ley. It might be even better if some more powerful servers which could hold up to 4000 players were used.

Agreed. Although, I would support the ability for PCs to have the hair grow longer the more you play. That would be the only thing I would like to see. Other than that, we have holiday items for proof of account age.

So, it's not that you get an extra rune from a certain essence alongside the other runes, it generates an extra essence which is crafted in turn, doubling the experience for that essence. It's either a bug, or the KB wasn't clear enough.

Runescape is like an orange. For anybody who hasn't seen an orange before, nibbling on the bitter skin would drive people away. But the learned ones who know to cut into the orange and eat the flesh get to enjoy it. The people who nibbled on the skin refuse to believe that there's anything better inside, despite others trying to convince them. Even worse are the people who refused to touch the orange because their friends told them that it tasted bitter. I just say be grateful that we're the lucky ones who know how to eat the orange properly.

I'm an adult and I think I'm just a little bit offended. I am not sure why I'm getting the impression that a lot of people think that those who would prefer to have the option of an adult-only world would want it simply so that they could go around swearing at each other and talking dirty. There are legitimate reasons why someone might prefer to play in an adult-only world. I realize it is not going to happen and I can appreciate why. Still, that does not make a desire to have one somehow wrong. I personally am a little tired of meeting people in the game who assume I'm a teenager. Even worse, I dread being asked how old I am because I'm often met with, "OMG get a life!" or worse, "you perv!" I can also tell you I often feel a bit odd when I'm say, fishing, and the conversation going on around me is all about AP tests or getting a driver's license, or whatever it is that someone's mom won't let them do..... Yes, I do have adult in-game friends and I do mostly talk to them. However, I can see the appeal of a world where everyone is an adult (assuming that there is a way Jagex can verify age that is more reliable than self reporting. For me the filter issue is not what this idea is about, yes it is annoying how I can't say "wots" without the s getting *d out but like I said above I think if there was an Adult world the personal details rule could be relaxed and that is why I'm all for it... I don't play the game to hunt for vunerable kids to find out where they live etc. etc... I play to relax and to socialise and I feel this would only add to the enjoyment if we could speak freely about where we live and what we do. Its fun to hear about other countries and places etc. I've learnt alot from some people I have got to know well... I'm sure you don't, but Jagex has no proof of anyone's intentions, and anyone can say that they won't act immature and won't stalk others. That would be even harder to track than someone's age. If everyone in this world was mature and didn't have bad intentions, this would work perfectly, and every world could be censor and rule free. But this isn't Utopia.

Oh yeah, I've heard of that. They do things like finding the next prime number (if you find one with enough digits, you get a huge prize!) and folding proteins for medicines. Never tried it though, because you only really get a chance worth bothering about if you have either a huge network of computers or some really powerful ones. I have neither. It's a good idea though.

I expect Jagex used the same rule when it comes to servers as when people safety test rollercoasters: Make sure that the server can handle double the load of what it would ever need to carry. Because there's a 2000 player limit, it's impossible for players to crash a server. I bet the world 1 and 2 servers could handle 5000 players, considering that they are regularly full, but it will never need to. The only way to actually crash a Jagex server would be to physically damage it, and nobody outside of Jagex knows where they are located. To sum it up: Ignore the riots, they have no purpose.

However, I can see how an adult man who finds himself chatting with mostly teenagers and preteens in the game might find it a bit worrisome. Anonymity and absolute free speech don't mix well, because people will swear/spam etc. way too much with no consequences and will make gameplay, or even simple conversation with strangers, very poor unless you turn public chat off (which destroys the purpose), even if you aren't offended. If you could get by, that means you would be ignoring the profanities in chat, so why do they need to be there?

You obviously have a good framerate and reaction time to get that, well done. Sometimes not all elements of the game world that you download can happen simultaneously, and the shadows are so complex that they must download that after everything else. Somehow your framerate exceeded the download, so you got to glimpse it at the halfway stage. You saying that your computer is well above the requirements for HD makes perfect sense. You're actually suffering from anti-lag!

It already is a self sustaining free online game, the advertising revenues equal the server costs, they break even with f2p. Are you trying to make a point or just want to ignite a flame war? But you don't need a separate team of designers to cater to f2pers, so they've shifted the updates, not their actual resources.

I never use the f-bomb because it's such a generic word that it really has no use, just to make yourself look desperate to fit in the crowd.

There's an option to never show roofs, and the resizable window is very close to full screen. (Firefox and IE has a 'fullscreen' option if you look around, which allows you to stretch the window even more.) No excuse.

I can't see a reason why this would be beneficial to the game, putting the age filtering method to one side. How does offensive/sexual/racist language make the/any game better? If you're talking about the cases where the filter blocks words/letters/phrases which are not offensive, that's a different update: fix the filter.

Full high detail, fullscreen, and I barely lag. But if I use Skype with it, it rips my framerate to shreds. :| Oh well, I still love it. By the way, it is so weird to try out RS in the lowest detail after spending all of your time playing in HD. Try it.

Nope firemaking wins. Yep. You just light camp-fires with different logs, producing a flame that lasts on average no longer whether you use a normal or yew log. I still don't get it.
