  1. You weren't muted for nothing, you were acting immature, and you said Americans are stupid. You broke Rule 1. Ergo, 24 hour mute.

The ignorance in that article was stunning. The LHC will not do anything other than give us a greater insight to the workings of the atom, other particles, and the universe in general. It's going to be awesome.
  3. I agree with you completely. The bots were reported before this topic was made, right?
  4. *holds breath* *smiles while turning blue*
  5. The solution to that is: 1. Remove access to BH from every non-PK world and have two PK/BH worlds, one free and one members (or even remove BH from free play completely and have it in one members world). Then you get to really concentrate any players that enjoyed the idea of actually Bounty Hunting for absolute drops, not just being able to kill players for loot. 2. On the non-BH PKing worlds, the PK dropping rules apply in the volcano, but you still get bounties to provide variety to PKing. As an alternative, you could also just get rid of item dropping completely and just use step 2.
  6. Truthfully I didn't even hear that... :o But now that you mention it, I guess I'll do 'em. If you want to do them, get at least 3 people in rl to record it together. It'll sound more like backing, and you could just record it once and loop, turning up the volume slightly each time. The more people, the better.
  7. Either the case would be thrown out or it didn't happen. The result is the same.
  8. I like the idea of Google Chrome, but it's not quite as stable as Firefox when using Java yet. So... I'm using both together until I decide that either Chrome is going to be better or worse than Firefox. IE is just useless right now.
  9. Heh, that's the first time I've seen that. Something tells me though that they aren't going to make an English version... haven't they? Anyway, aside from that, RS, or even RSHD isn't quite good enough to go full throttle into advertising, like, say, Blizzard has with WoW. Let's be honest, Jagex's advertising isn't exactly huge, they still mainly go via word of mouth.
  10. No surprises here. As much as Jagex tries to condemn price manipulation, it is going to happen until it's impossible, and by then you've ruined half the game. It's exactly like RWTing.
  11. So many people have known about it that we don't explain it any more, because it's common knowledge, not a little known secret. I think that we're just going to have to test Mercifull's theory when PKing comes back. Is there going to be a BH trading rush or will the bots whither away again? Gah, I'm talking like bots are just as common as they were before. Maybe we've just become so overly sensitive that when we spot one, alarm bells ring?
  12. Blame the economy for that. There's an increasing demand, so people will do anything to provide the supply and get huge real life profits. However, I think Mercifull is right.
  13. I really don't want to make this more complicated, but during and after the equivalent of 'I love tornadoes', which ever line that is, there's a backing line of Ahhs using the same pitches as the 'Boom de yada' chorus, which starts quietly and then becomes progressively louder. Is anybody going to do those? :?
  14. That statement is correct. Johnny is rich, given the fact that he will have possessions and a bedroom etc. provided/given to him that will be much more expensive than those born in poorer families. Wealth is comparative, so compared to what the other kids in school of his age actually claim as their own, Johnny is rich. Johnny isn't rich because he will inherit a large sum of money from his family, because we're referring to the present tense and justifying it with the future tense, which isn't right. Johnny is rich because of the objects, currency and services given to him by his parents. Johnny will be rich because he will inherit money from his parents later.
  15. I think I'll explain my point a bit more, as something tells me that a few people aren't getting it. Some are, but a lot aren't. The ISPs can introduce this system if they want. But, everyone will prefer the old system (what we have now), creating a demand. The 'switched' ISPs will have abandoned a product that is still in huge demand (and likely will be for a very long time), and replaced it with an inferior one. Stupid business manoeuvres aside, it won't be illegal (I fail to see a reason for a law against it) for another ISP to provide the 'old' service. Admittedly, they could make it much more expensive than what it was before (and make a lot of money out of it for attacking the 'switched' ISPs), but the 'old system' ISPs will undercut each other as normal, lowering the price until we get back to the same point as we have now: Cheap unrestricted Internet. If people want the original Internet, and it's potentially available, they will get it.
  16. I'd say it's potentially atmospheric, but not yet. If they worked on the music, it would be much better.
  17. I think that you're going to find that wherever there's a pickaxe symbol on the minimap and it's at ground level, a star can land there.
  18. Pff.. It's a medieval game. The few female warriors that existed back then, werent some wimpy magazine-cover girls with nicely braided hair and a pink dress. That looks like a woman who could actually have mental fortitude to kill. Took the words out of my... fingers. I actually think it's quite a good banner.
  19. That bad, huh? I think this is just something that you're supposed to deal with if it happens nearby. Mining shooting stars sounds fun if we find a hueg one.
  20. I voted Myreque and Monkey Madness. The latter was really the only sensible option.
  21. Actually... that might be just the opposite. :-k ... If there is someone out there who is bent on smashing us just because we want a spot on DrawBall too, then it would explain the massive knockout we took for a while. :( ... Although, TBH, I'd pin it more on our anti-RWT efforts here on Tip.It Forums, what with the RS Suggestions and all. Oh well, I guess something had to give. :wall: ~D. V. Devnull What anti-RWT suggestions? Did we invent Bounty Hunter or something?
  22. That's just how Jagex is, it's sad really. They are physically incapable of using ideas that have been thought through beyond text and handed to them, even if they are better than the one Jagex makes up. What we need is a Jagex mod to take time to visit, talk to, and appreciate fansites like us, there's only so much you can do with just text in the RSOF. It's not that we need/want to be officially recognised, just appreciated.
  23. A lot of it is a graphical update, and they're never necessary. But, a plain green block is very poor compared with the rest of the graphics right now. These kind of changes improve the games overall quality. I'm not sure about the alarm though, I think flashing is enough.
  24. Wow, that was... epic. But, we would have known for a long time now if something that size was heading for earth.
