  1. crimsons and blues i still have 5k gold and 4k greens in bank which i have no reason to use anymore Why? Have you done it so many times that it's turned into an involuntary action?
  2. I remember getting a yoyo from Santa, and when Slayer came out.
  3. When I saw that, I fell over laughing. LOL!!! <*DVD hands Neminon a giant bag of cookies, and hands Pure_MageUK a set of 3 smaller bags of cookies.*> Rewards by work done. Of course, Peter did it several times, so he gets multiple, compared to popular belief. :P  (Heck, I should have given these out earlier, but I didn't know who all the primaries were. Better late then never, I guess. ...) ~D. V. Devnull MMM, yum, yum. I like cookies! :) TNX. The cyanide should be taking effect pretty soon now... Anyway, great job on the switchover, it was incredibly smooth.
  4. It should be that if you re-enter the same fight after leaving it, your vitals shouldn't be recharged.
  5. Shouldn't you change the 'it's' in the title to 'it be', considering that pirates take out the apostrophes and put them together at the end to form exclamation marks? I like this idea, we should make a 'talk like a pirate' censor and put it on the entire forums on the day, much like we made a 'n00b sp33k' censor on April Fools'. Oo arr! No wait, that's a farmer...
  6. I must admit, I would have probably reacted much worse than you did. You just experienced a classic 'noob' scenario. Don't be offended, nothing ever gets done if someone is offended, just tell yourself that you acted many times better than that guy did. However, don't try to explore the literal meaning of 'nerd', it's devolved in the same way 'noob' has, into a generic and usually groundless insult.
  7. You never know. They might put in so many random elements into the quest (where each player has to do different actions) that writing guides will be impossible, or they could go insane on the requirements, or various things like that. Anyway, I'm assuming that you either never have completed a quest classified as 'hard' with no hints or guides, or are just plain arrogant. Or both, whatever suits you.
  8. Good to hear, that's been my view on the whole thing as well. We were made as we were then, but we also evolved to what we are now. Sounds like two sides of the same coin to me.

What has this got to do with parents? It's a game, and if it isn't against/required by the game rules, anybody can do it with no consequences. Sure, you'd probably annoy the person who died if you're still there when he/she comes back, but it's not against the rules. Repairing someone's gravestone has nothing to do with respect, people throw around that word too easily.
  10. :) Slap me if that isn't the combat formula before summoning. Nice find!
  11. honestly. <= i get one every fifteen minutes, it's not bad at all. Please tell me how you do that. I have fought Cyclopes for over 5 hours after getting an adamant defender and still am rune defenderless.

Agreed. I think the solution is to actually make bandits non-aggressive after 15 minutes in the area.
  13. The dangerous thing about increasing level caps is that you're making the game into more of a grind than it already is. Anyway, the game is about variety, not grinding (even though there is already a lot), so I say new skills.
  14. A long time ago, I remember catching woodlice. It was fun poking them and making them roll into little balls.
  15. Somehow I've ended up with a load of incense, which never get used, as well. *Checks for questionable items* How about a pear in a bottle too big for the neck, filled with a 60% alcoholic spirit. (No jokes about drunk ghosts, please) Or a huge bottle of 20-year-old homemade parsnip whisky?
  16. I really like the idea. How about the ability to make dynamite, so it's cheaper? After completing the Digsite Quest, take Nitroglycerin from the chest in the Digsite and put it in a vial. The Sawmill operator gives away sawdust, if you give him 3K. It's a one-off payment, so from then on you can have as much as you like, he clearly doesn't need it. Mix Sawdust and Nitroglycerin in a bowl. 1 bowl makes 3 sticks. (Req: 35 herblore) Use the mixture on a piece of papyrus, wrapping it up. (Req: 35 Crafting) Finally add 2 pieces of thread for the fuse for each stick, choosing the length.

I would too, but there isn't a requirement to do so. If there was, your character would automatically repair the grave or something.
  18. Five sounded reasonable as an upper limit... Eight sounds like trying to push the limits, and could lead to spam troubles. :-k ... I know, I'm a regular doomsayer, but this really seems to catch me in an odd manner. :| ~D. V. Devnull 5 it is then. But we could try a higher number and reduce it gradually if spam starts happening.
  19. Solid. But it will take the shape of its container. What if everyone else is a damn robot? We did an experiment in class where a solid object melted when it stood still. You could form it into various things (It was like Play-Dough), but when you stopped forming it, it would quickly melt into a puddle. The melting parts were solid and so was the puddle. It baffled the class as to what it was. That is called a non-Newtonian fluid, a good example is corn flour suspended in water, or, if you've ever watched Brainiac, custard. The forces acting upon it decides if it's a liquid or a solid. High-force = solid. Low-force = Liquid. Lovely stuff. I often ask myself this question 'Why do mosquitoes exist?'.
  20. Why are you talking about the shield when this thread is talking about rubies...? The beast is being killed a lot by people using ruby bolts (e) to hit 100s with their specs frequently. Lots of people hunt it because of the really expensive drops. Why would the use and cost/availiability of the shields people wear affect them using ruby bolts to hunt the beast?? :wall: Anywho , On topic, it's not actually the best method, my mate's found an easier way involving certain vunerabilities to the beast so when these are known to the wider public people will start using less Ruby bolts. However in the short term maybe a small investment would be worthwhile lol. It's weak to stab attack, so a zammy spear is usefull. Shoot me for selling mine. *pull out a pistol and shoots Canineteeth* Oh wait, you meant metaphorically. Oops. I think it's too late to buy rubies now, better methods are emerging and eventually one or two methods will come out on top.
  21. That picture 'Runescape Portrait' gave me an idea. Might it be possible to make something like that, but with the characters in the Great Tif Pic?
  22. The arenas are for people like the TET who want to stage free for all battles. The Dangerous option is there should anybody ever want to use it. That's it. Adding rewards turns them into a minigame, which defeats the object. If you want to get rewards for PvP, wait for the PvP worlds.
  23. You could simplify it by being able to temporarily lower combat stats according you your choosing, as a service in Lumbridge in PvP worlds, in order to lower your Combat level. No need to make a sub-character, and the result is the same.
  24. I put in 50% ink (all I had) into the P, but it sure ain't fixed yet.
