  1. Difficult, but manageable if you're a low leveled character. There's no point for making spaces in the costume room to store the clothing if the circus technically stores it for you.
  2. Nice job everyone, it's looking great. Can I point out a small error, which I think has been missed in a few versions now: loi86, the guy to the right of my picture, (5 rows down, 12 along), has a bit of the string in the necklace missing and the plume of the helmet has been shaven. Sorry if it's not meant to be here, but it's bugging me now.
  3. This is true. BH should just be removed, and that will fix it. Yeah, that's the spirit. Just remove it. What's the big deal about PVP anyways, why don't we all just shake hands and hug? Come on now man, are you seriously saying Jagex should let go of the best PVP area in the game atm? You guys are banking a lot on the new PVP worlds to be an amazing update. You should realize that there is a serious chance the PVP update will be a major disappointment. This is not going to be a wilderness replacement. Looting was the MOST important aspect of the wildy, how do I know that? What's the only thing that caused the Wildy to be removed? Looting. Jagex could have kept the old Wild without Looting, BUT THEY DIDN'T. Why not? Because PK-ing without looting is POINTLESS! They knew that, you should know that. So have fun looting non-tradeable computer generated drops that are PVP-world only. But the point is that it's not important that the victim loses the same items that the victor gains, PKers don't care that they're not getting what the other guy used to have, just that they are getting something reasonably desirable or exchangeable for desirable items for their efforts. The most important aspect of the Wilderness was gaining desirable items from killing other players, it's just that the old Wilderness used the simple process of Direct Looting (Deathpile -> Victor) to satisfy this. The PvP world's version, what I call Indirect Looting (Deathpile -> Deleted, Variable 'Impressiveness' Factors -> Generated Items -> Victor), also satisfies this, as long as the generated items, should it have been a perfectly legitimate and impressive fight, are reasonably close in desirability as the deathpile. Now that would be a true (and possibly better) replacement for the Wilderness. I believe this is possible, but whether Jagex actually achieves this is another matter. If the PvP worlds prove to be as popular as the Wilderness, if not more popular, actually removing BH isn't unreasonable. However, not even Jagex should bank that their idea will be as popular as the Wilderness until the worlds have been released and the proof is there for all to see.
  4. But what about when they abandon it again? Will it be used in the mega quest or something?
  5. Cool. I want to visit Russia sometime. I'm personally waiting for Let's Learn Whiff-Whaff with Boris Johnson.
  6. For a belief to be valid, it has to make at least some sense. Look at the facts objectively: [*:jiojb6sl]Hubbard is a scifi author. [*:jiojb6sl]"Xenu" brought billions of people to Earth, but our planet apparently had too many people, so he dispersed the excess ones on volcanoes by a spaceship and then destroyed them with hydrogen bombs, making those people's souls into 'thetans'. [*:jiojb6sl]"Xenu" called some psychiatrists, who paralyzed all the leftover people in the world after injecting them with glycol and alcohol. Sure, anyone can believe whatever they want, but that theory has no factual basis, zero historical accuracy & it never happened anywhere else except Hubbard's little world inside his head. Not just that, but his organization charges people money to believe in his ridiculous theories. Why any sane person would believe in scientology's core premises is beyond my comprehension. Christianity, Islam, Buddhism don't even remotely compare to scientology in the scale of ridiculous assumptions or claimed miraculous events. I wouldn't say it's bashing to look at an organization for what it is. Rightfully so, Germany and some other countries refuse to acknowledge scientology as a religion. [1] Feel free to believe anything, but you cross a line when it starts affecting other people negatively. What strikes me is that it seems impossible for a belief (I think the term belief is better here than religion) to function like that when it is so implausible. You could be forced that you declare your belief of it, but how could anyone convince themselves that it's actually true?
  7. I think you're right. I don't think it is something to take seriously, but a lot of those things are a lot more interesting than things which people do take seriously. Ok, if anybody knows, what exactly is a Thetan? Is it basically a soul?
  8. Denis, I've already had a look at that, but wikipedia articles about controversial subjects aren't too reliable, as well as the fact that the neutrality is disputed.
  9. I would like to make it clear that I am not seeking to be a Scientologist, neither do I support the rumoured actions of the CoS should they be true. I merely wish have a somewhat unbiased knowledge on the subject. Now, the vast majority of people here know of Scientology and its Church, mostly through their clashes with Anonymous and Project Chanology, known as Scientology versus The Internet. However, during these clashes claims such as the 'Xenu' story and other strong references to extraterrestrials have arisen, which I think are highly unlikely to be the whole truth, or maybe even any of the truth at all. So, I wanted to ask some questions: What does a Scientologist believe? Or maybe more accurately, what must one believe in order to be classified as a Scientologist? :?: Post away.
  10. I remember that program, but I can't recall it's name. The mother believed it was natural to do so, and the children still craved their mother's milk. I agree with you, the reason why we choose cow juice over human milk while it's theoretically possible to obtain the latter is that we would feel like infants. Should women be capable of producing a bountiful supply of milk, PETA's argument would hold much more ground. But they aren't, so it doesn't.
  11. Nah, my idea is that the Varrock Museum kudos thing is tied in to the "Master Quest" which is tied in to a new area. Whatever the concept though, the checkerboards and black square shields are just unexplored parts of the world map. Everyone should quote Evil Dave more often. Although I do agree with you about the "Master Quest" thing.
  12. Hi Trapical, I really hope that we can get your threads back up, I really want to read them now. :)
  13. I don't think this discussion has been about the OP for a while.. Admittedly we are in Off-Topic, the realm of tangents. Oh well. *shrug* :)
  14. I'm pretty sure this is a parody, but it could have been done better. :boohoo: Ah well, at least there's a lesson to be learned: Stop making GE speculation threads, everyone's getting sick of them now.
  15. They're unexplored parts of the world, that's all. From what's been calculated from coordinates, the known map is a very small portion of the entire globe, there a lot more unknown than known. Jagex isn't going to suddenly fill in the whole lot at once, they will chisel away at it with updates until they run out of planet. EDIT: And let me tell you, that will take a long time.
  16. Anyone considered that the OP doesn't want to smoke cannabis because of the chances of getting caught and the stress it may actually end up causing?
  17. I agree completely, we should only intervene with problems that we caused.

Heh, so far it's been great, but I've only seen the first 2 episodes of S3. The person who plays Sylar is an amazing actor, I can't believe that someone can look so... evil. By the way, Hiro rules as always.
  19. I'm confused, why is it that if you put cows in comfortable conditions they give better milk, and yet if you put pigs in comfortable conditions they don't give better meat? Hang on... your farm? :-s
  20. Every cigarette is bad for you, even if you've never smoked before and never will again.
  21. Not true. Due to so-called "stand your ground" and "castle doctrine" laws on the books in all 50 states, if someone threatens you with a deadly weapon, you are completely within the law to use deadly force to stop them, be that by shooting them, stabbing them or otherwise beating the crap out of them. These laws have very few exceptions. As for carrying a concealed weapon, after a short safety class and some paperwork you can get a license to carry a gun or knife in 48 states, the two exceptions being Illinois and Minnesota if I remember right. not a bad Idea. OP, if you are either 21 or 18 (depending on your state) and the neighborhood is really that bad, perhaps you should apply for a concealed gun permit. That is a terrible attitude. :notalk: You don't resist issues like this by just taking the law into your own hands. You are supposed to let them take whatever they want and report it to the police instead of seriously endangering your life for a phone which you probably get back anyway!
  22. I know this is threatening to go on a tangent, but surely the logical thing with raising pigs is to feed them lots so that each pig produces more meat? As a person living in Norfolk, England, my knowledge of agriculture is appalling.
  23. I think it should be monthly, should the worlds be organised event-friendly, which they should. How about the first Saturday of each month?
  24. Will H replied to Tim's topic in Rants
As Mylez said, that's arrogance, not ignorance. Also, defence levels are necessary but not sufficient in being a good tanker, you have to know what to do at the right time as well. Finally, I think the biggest bit of ignorance floating in the waters of this thread is that there is a huge difference between Noob and Newb! Do not use them interchangeably! A Noob is an annoying player. A Newb is an inexperienced player with comparatively low levels.[/counter-rant]
  25. I expect if they saw a gun, they'd be much more willing to use that knife. I don't say this often, but that was a very stupid thing to say. OT: It's always awesome when theives mess up in stupid ways, but I think that guy's been overdoing the Botox. What is up with his lips, anyway?
