Well thanks for the help. I think I was able to beat out this feeling by telling myself that I don't really care. That even if she happened to start hating me for whatever reason that I would get over her and not really mind. On the other hand, if I were to get with her, it most likely won't be as great as I imagine it to be and she is not as important as I tend to think she is. I might be over her in a week and this state of attraction I'm in at the moment won't matter. Or we might ( unlikely) fall in love with each other and have a relationship for a long period time. Then there is all those other possible scenarios that can happen. Either way, whatever happens, happens. I'll eventually adapt to any scenario ( good or bad) and then look for something more in this life that is void of meaning itself. Basically, I just got rid of the fear of failure and I'm fine now, that crushing feeling is nice when you don't care about losing it. :)

Anyone know any good tricks to avoid getting a "crush"? I'm starting to crush on this one girl and I rather not because all that ever leads to (for me) is nervousness and infatuation.That in turn just ends in disappointment :mellow:

I used to look for girls like that. But now I'm bothered by having to cheer some girls up all the time because of their self-esteem issues. So now I look for girls with high-self esteem... I don't need to cheer them up often :)

Numbers don't exist. They really only exist in our minds, and we only think of them as real because they are a huge part of our culture. They're placeholders. Just like ghosts/paranormal/gods etc don't exist, but they are real to those who have them as a big part of their life. I'm sure natives cared about spirits much more than numbers. Spirits etc are also placeholders. They don't exist, but that doesn't make them less important. Reminds of the South Park imagination land episode :unsure: Now I want to watch it :lol:

( I mean the created part) Er, I'm not sure what you mean by that, but if this helps I made a typo...I meant to say "don't see why a ever-lasting universe/multiverse isn't possible" instead of "is". Either way, I still think the universe wasn't "created", it was there all along. Yea, I assumed that you did make a typo otherwise it didn't really make sense. What I'm saying is that we can't know that there are things that do not need to be created.

The people who haven't experienced the community from 2001-2005 probably wouldn't understand it, but it used to be really great. The mental age has gone down alot in the last 5 years. I played since 2004. I wouldn't say the community now is that bad. Personally I think it improved after the removal of the wildy.

Eh. Massive trolling community? And it doesn't have to be the goal, but by reaching smaller goals the elite are still getting closer to all 200m skills, even if thats not what there going for, they might get to it eventually.

How's RuneHQ doing these days? Or are the sites still rivals? I was thinking the same thing. If we could unite all the Runescape fan sites, then all the MMORPG fan sites, then all the gaming fan sites, we would be able to survive the web war. I don't know, I was a member of the GameFAQs forums for a while... Not sure they're worth saving :lol: Well the plan is to ally with them at first and then destroy them after we don't need them anymore :lol:

Explain please. 1) Scientist invents time travel 2) Goes back in time to the beginning of the universe 3) Accidentally creates the universe 4) ????? 5) BECOMES A GOD I honestly believe that when mankind becomes sufficiently advanced, we'll end up either creating life on an uninhabited planet or a new universe. And I like to think that's how the current universe/earthlife got started, some scientist who forgot to sterilize his equipment or something. Needless to say, when they did that as a plot for Futurama I laughed hard. Yea but then still we would need to make the universe out of something right? Where does this something come from? But I don't think mankind will become that advanced, we will probably be extinct before that happens. But thats only a guess.
