  1. Sorry to go off topic, but: Is that really worth it? How long are your trips and how many kills do you get? I'd really only consider that if you get significantly more than me, which is 2 yaks for 100 kills (no cannon) Worth the risk, you mean? Probably not. My last 2 trips were also 2 yaks and ~100 kills, however I ran out of prayer with ~10 brews left so could potentially go another overload. I just don't think that the new ranged prayer would be worth it for what I do - not to mention that a lot of the damage I do to prime comes from deflect magic.
  2. Not with divine :P It's easy to time it to get around prime's attacks though, you just can't SS on every hit.
  3. I think the only place I would ever use it would be armadyl. Too risky to SS on boss, and I find that SS doesn't work as well when ranging anyway due to the lower hits. Plus armadyl minions tend to hit a lot. Slayer with range: possibly useful, depending on the task. Would be tough on tasks when I normally use combat familiar + SS. Either way I certainly won't ever be range slaying again. PvP - Sure, but not my thing. Even when soloing at dagannoth kings, I will flash SS on supreme while prime is on me. Wouldn't want to give that up for a bit of a range bonus, and I usually "2.5 brid" anyway.
  4. They were exactly the same when it first came out. Don't know why.
  5. This. Ha. One bump and it just takes off like a thread that has been here the whole time.
  6. Meh. Not too bad. Sounds like TT update might not be until later in the month though.
  7. Mod Emilee: Hey guys, There's no need to worry, it's been taken down whilst we make a few tweaks to it. It'll be back up again shortly. ------------ Am I the only one who is not at all comforted by that...?
  8. Good - I'm not crazy. Went on Runescape expecting to see BTS but didn't. Then when I came here, I saw the thread for it! Better not come back in an hour missing half of the updates or something.
  9. Yeah... don't see how they can really call this something special when it was on twitter ages ago. Anyway, it's clearly TT update.
  10. I don't crash if I can avoid it, but I do crash if I am losing out by not doing so. For example, if I need a high or low spawn world for what I'm doing. Or if I hop a few times and can't find an open world I will be inclined to go back to whatever world looked the easiest to crash. Like you, I am able to crash anyone who doesn't have absolutely maxed gear.
  11. Essentially, if you do not already have junk don't bother with it.
  12. It's been used at arma (pretty unsuccessfully) - If i had vidding equipment I could show the comparison between it and RXB at TD's. It's so much more accurate. Hmm. What makes it unsuccessful at arma? I know it would have a really low max, but you'd think that the accuracy (which is huge there) would at least sort of make up for it. I'll go look for a video of that now I suppose.
  13. I would love to see someone using at a boss or something.
  14. Your base exp, prestige exp, AND bonus room exp drop if there are any rooms at all that you do not access.
  15. Aha! This is where you know me/Toast from. Pro e-stalker. OT: It's a toss up between trying your luck at FFA/ls corp and possibly ending up with absolutely nothing for your efforts, or monster hunting for money while trying to do a bit of rare merching to build street value. Although what do I know, got mine in GE :shades:
  16. Dang  Congrats. Incredible combat/slay experience.
  17. Ooh cool. Excited for when they do come.
  18. Prefer not to tool, since my keying levels aren't great and it slows down the team to have to drop tools and ask who has the levels for a door. I occasionally will key if I sense that I'm the best person to do it, or no one wants to. I'm not bad, but not good enough to consider myself a keyer. (did key once for one of the top 20 dungeoneers) Usually, my use is in combat. Maxed stats/bound items (before ring update), and I'm just very good at combat in general. Knowing what to kill, luring/trapping monsters, etc. I tend to get frustrated when people are being inefficient or stupid... like piling a rat while one person fights a 133 shade. I try not to order people around, but will start telling people what to do if they are doing it wrong.
  19. Sounds like you just aren't used to using brews/restores properly.
  20. Controlled with whip = win controlled with spear = fail
  21. You can't bring anything in with you when dungeoneering, hence the confusion about the warhammer. Most of the high rares are worth much more than what the ge price says they are. For famous players, Gertjaars was top for a while, but it's all changed now with the release of dungeoneering and there are quite a few players fighting for top total, and a few more fighting for highest total experience.
  22. My tip would be to stand beside her, even when ranging. Her melee attack fails - means she uses range/mage a bit less.
  23. Slayer staff
  24. But really you shouldn't need healing familiars if you are somewhere that you want to use a combat familiar. OT: I don't know, seeing as I was 90+ summoning when batch 2 came out and never even had a chance to use the lower familiars... however I suspect that Morningrise is correct.
  25. There should not be doors requiring >99 summoning. Sounds like a glitch.
