The problem is that they only reduce the damage over 200. Once you take a hit over 200 they should reduce the entire hit by x%. Instead of (300-200)*.14=reduction It should just be (300)*.14=reduction Still not better than divine/ely, but at least the damage reduction would be good for ko reducing in pvp, and sort of useful for pvm.

But celestial catalytic is better bonus and better damage increase.

It says combat familiar, so presumably does not work with unicorn or yak. Confirmation would be nice if anyone has it. However, 6 specs per bar instead of 5 with steel titan could be worth looking into.

...So been doing solo meds today, and every single med I have done has had a spider. 5 or 6. No hoods.

Grrr another spider soloing - no hood. I've only seen one drop ever at 85 dungeoneering, and someone else grabbed it.

Been done before, it's not even close to as good as divine. You have to realize that +32 range defence is nothing, when looking at the whole picture. It's not a difference between +57 and +89, it's a difference between ~300 and ~332. That's pretty much nothing, and has been shown to reduce the frequency that attacks hit by so little that it's almost negligible. Magic defence and reduction: Is nearly as significant as range - the mage minion tears you apart. Divine has better mage defence, and reduces damage. Prayer: Divine has small pray bonus. Overall reduction: CKS reduces like 5% on average apparently, and only on 200+ hits. Frequency of eating: With 30% damage reduction you eat less, and the less you eat, the more time you spend attacking (and less brews you need to drink to kill your stats). More time attacking at higher stats = faster kills.

Try it with combat familiar scrolls. Does it reduce by a number, or a percent? I tried it with a steel titan and it used the same amount of points as normal, in a floor right now so can't try it with any others. Probably because steel titan specs already take the smallest possible denomination of the bar. Wow, there goes the one tiny use it might have had lol. I don't think steel titan can be smallest denomination. There are scrolls that use 20. Titan uses 12. So it can't just be multiples of 12 or something, should be able to go at least as small as 4s.

So... anyone got info on how much the amulet of zealots improves prayers by? And, more importantly, how much the spirit cape reduces summoning attacks by? I can see it potentially being amazing with unicorn/yak/steel titan.

I have over 30 hours of class per week <_< Lol and I have a midterm later today in a class where my professor is a total ass. He hadn't really given any information about the exam so my friend sent him a long email asking a whole bunch of questions, and he replied days later saying "ok", in response to just one of the questions. He also cancelled the 2 classes preceding the exam (we suspect that he just doesn't want to answer questions about the test). Not to mention that there's just an absurd amount of info that could be covered on this test and we have no idea what we need to learn... the exam will also only be 1 hour long which is ridiculously short compared to all other ones we have. There's my rant for the day. However, I do like school and am interested in what I'm learning. I just wish exams were less stressful :P Especially when all of our profs like giving assignments that are due the same time as we have an exam.

Yeah, usually sensors for a road that is not used frequently that merges onto a big road. When 2 big roads cross it is generally just on a timer based on the amount of traffic each way.

Corp does not heal when eating your familiar. Thought that was known by now... Also, I used to take unicorn to 6 man trips, but that was back when people used sharks for food. You can usually at least use up the 3 specs (healing 42), and sometimes have it out for multiple kills. Probably not worth it with brews and overloads now.
