19-Aug-10 Dungeoneering The Occult Floors
Gravekeeper drops chainbodies. So I guess primal chainbody is here.

Wtf... so far I've seen zombie-summoning necromancers, and lesser demons that cast magic spells.

So claws can still only spec twice? DDS, however, will be able to spec 6 times in a row.

99 cooking
I started sharks right at 80  However that was back before the trade limit, when you could easily trade cooked sharks for raw. Also, my understanding of gauntlets is that they only work for lobsters, swordfish, and shark. Do they work on monkfish and rocktails? EDIT: They do work apparently... although I feel like they didn't always work that way.

cannot attack
I occasionally am unable to do stuff for a few seconds after logging in. Don't know what causes it, although I can't remember it happening recently.

Is there a summon creature that raises Range Att?
Essentially, no. A few levels boosted is useless when you should always use pots anyway. Best bet is to just use your highest range combat familiar for some extra experience.

Post and discuss all Jagex Twitter updates here!
I, for one, am glad it isn't out today. Although perhaps that is related to the fact that I am working today but am off tomorrow.

Post and discuss all Jagex Twitter updates here!
You know what is even more frustrating, not only do they hype things up huge, and constantly fail to deliver, they also announce at the ABSOLUTE latest hour that it won't be ready, after I have waited for it the 3rd day in a row. It isn't as if they encountered some new problem 20 minutes ago that disallowed them from releasing this update. They knew just as well earlier today that it wouldn't be released. How about they put a [bleep]ing twitter hint earlier than after the usual time in the morning when updates are released? This is tiresome and disappointing. Jagex can go [bleep] themselves. I am ok with them taking the time to straighten things out occasionally but don't make us wait, be honest. All of this has to do with their inexcusable business model where they work updates AFTER they announce then. These updates should already be ready and the only thing they should be doing is last minute testing. Not [bleep]ing making up half the update the week before it is supposed to be release. So yeah, to all those apologists, it IS their fault for having a [cabbage] business model. Actually they announced it quite early today. It was announced like an hour ago(unless I am mistaken), on the day of the update when people were expecting the update, refreshing constantly. That seems to me to be the absolute latest they could have possibly done. How is that early in any sense of the word? If I am mistaken then ignore this post. Because it was announced at approximately the very earliest that updates ever come out on a given day. Meaning people really should not have been waiting very long.

Best 'non-slash' weapon for slaying?
Excluding chaotic weapons, whip + rune defender and zamorakian spear are all you should ever use for slayer. Claws for spec.

Silk Hood
Spiders appear on floors 12+ (all except frozen)

The Limitations and Uses of Bandos
I have never taken more than 1 trip to do a slayer task, even when using protect pray and turmoil in bandos + sw cape.
-
99 Farm
OMG FINALLY! 99/10.
-
The Limitations and Uses of Bandos
As has been said, the number of prayer pots used is irrelevant as long as you can a) finish the task in 1 trip and b) make enough money per hour to cover the cost of 2-3 more prayer potions used per task.
-
The Limitations and Uses of Bandos
Bandos + sw cape = win. I use that for most tasks. I would only use an ardy cloak for like mithril dragons or something.
-
Nomad
Didn't know he even had a stab weakness. I just stood there and meleed him with whip. Didn't ever go behind pillars. Used 5-10 brews.
-
The Limitations and Uses of Bandos
Agreed. Would have to be a lot more expensive than that for me to consider giving up the extra damage, however small it is.

Skill vs combat
But that's because there are people who do skill Haha. Good point. But as long as there are people skilling, I will just buy all the stuff I need in the GE and let other people gather food and herbs and whatnot.
-
Skill vs combat
Lol well it's clear what your views are... Personally, I love combat. Frankly, skills really aren't needed for anything other than raising total levels. With combat you can do almost anything - and all of the best money making methods use combat.

Dungeoneering won't let me solo
I figured I was all set, but I can't find those doors! I see one "hole in the wall" on the east side with a pile of rocks in front of it, but there is no way through. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Dunno why you bumped an old thread to ask this, but you just need to go in the doors... inside the castle, near the bank. There are 2 doors - 1 on either side.

200M in all Skills
He thinks it's a waste...? With enough cash to start with, merching allows you to make faster money than any other method - with hardly any time spent doing it.

Best way to kill Har'lak the Riftsplitter?
Yeah... I just stand there and melee him with spear. I move when he uses a portal attack. I don't use antipoison.

An Elitist's View on Crashing
Admittedly, crashing ls worlds at KBD solo is fun. Plus it allows me to get faster kills.
-
Overloads and Brews
Yes, if you open the house options tab your overload timer will stop going down. (between kills)
-
Overloads and Brews
The number 3 that you're thinking of is the number of brews you can drink with unpotted stats, that allows you to restore your stats back to full with one dose of super restore. With overloads your stats are boosted by 26 levels every 15 seconds. So, any brews at all will affect your stats for 1-15 seconds. However, if you drink more than 2 doses of brew, you will need to wait for your stats to be boosted twice for them to get back to full. You could however drink up to 5 doses of brew, 1 dose of restore, and then when your stats get boosted they will be back to full.

02-Aug-10 Behind the Scenes August
... All non-spear and non-halberd weapons do half. Pretty simple. Both vesta longsword and lbs do half damage. Chaotic does half.
