Tip.It Times - 8th May 2011
Yes, sitting in a house and making and then destroying a piece of furniture repeatedly is a much better concept for a skill. Never been bothered by an article so much... Obviously, these things are subjective, but seriously, summoning and dungeoneering are 2 of my favourite skills. I like them because they don't follow the same pattern as every other skill in the game. Seems like the whole article was just a setup for the author's plug for their own skill idea.

Just saw my first gazer ever tonight, but alas no hex for me. I would only have had to be without melee for 4 levels  Anyway grats to Tipsi.

How does gwd kc work(inside boss room)
Every monster that dies is 1 kc. In a lootsharing team, this 1 kc is given to the person with the lowest killcount at the time.

Future Update Discussions
I'm going to have to run around telling people that I actually played Classic when I wear the cape, apparently. Missed bunny ears and scythe because I didn't know about holiday events back then :( Also, I went on classic for the lolz today... there were ~10 people on each of the 3 worlds. I logged onto the "veteran only" classic server. Ran around aimlessly until I finally found people... 2 people standing in the same spot in front of an anvil. Probably bots.

Slayer Special Weapons
Only in Kuradal's though right? Everywhere else a claw spec is probably more like 1.5 rapier hits.

LvL 85 pwning in duel arena w/ Dragon Claws
It isn't pking or staking =p Just fun fights in duel arena, nothing to really rate imo. I did notice that you frequently mis-click for your second claw spec and end up doing a regular hit with claws. Don't do that.

Slayer Special Weapons
Specials are pretty negligible on slayer. Additional damage specials (aka ags) don't even stack with black mask, unless that has been changed. Claws are the best choice I believe, but barely help with rapier.

Dungeonsweepers (DGS) - Huge changes; read first post.
I've seen tons of eddimus at only 94 dungeoneering, no blood neck drops from any however.

Is it possible to tank prime?
It can certainly be done, but no matter what gear you have prime will do more DPS to you than any other king will.

Easter Carrot [Topic exhausted]
Assuming it hasn't changed, trapping NPCs to thieve has always been possible (I got to 85 or so thieving on knights of ardougne prior to pyramid plunder being released). However, after a while (forget how long), the trapped NPC will be able to walk through you and escape. This does, however, mean that there is essentially no use for having some attack an NPC to keep it in place. Not to mention the relatively slow rate of experience you get from NPCs like that.

Kalphite Queen
I do not think prayer switching is any use on kq. Also, her range attack might be 100% accurate (any confirmation on this?) but melee is definitely not, so might as well tank up the melee defence (which generally means high range defence too) and mage pray. I find veracs to be pretty useless overall there. Use a chaotic melee weapon on both forms. If you don't have a chaotic, then I would probably whip it all the way, particularly if you have overloads/extremes. Tip: She is one of the best monsters to run under while you eat. If you're good you can even use this to go 1-for-1 with her for hits no matter how much you eat.

Dungeonsweepers (DGS) - Huge changes; read first post.
I've been trying to use my csb more effectively; getting better at switching to mage quickly to take out warriors and stuff. Doesn't help when 2h'ers see me targetting a warrior and then attack it with melee instead of going for the other monsters though >.>

Getting a Hood...
The best way is to continue as normal; night spiders are really common in team larges. That said, if you really are sick of team dging as the only non-hooded player, I found that solo mediums are pretty effective and you will see a spider on most floors. I got my first hood in a team large, there were 4 spiders on that floor. Long story short, I had to get another hood, and I got it from a solo medium (took maybe 10 floors).

Cannon at Daganoths (Lighthouse)
As said, cannon should always be used for slayer tasks there. However, just for training range I wouldn't use it. It's about 100k+ exp/hour, but it is both slower and more expensive than using chinchompas, or cannon at a more profitable spot.

Goal Accomplished!
Congrats MC. Not bad.

Dungeonsweepers (DGS) - Huge changes; read first post.
Should have waited to bind a primal 2h until you actually had 99 attack Cheeesy  Now you're going to be stuck doing slayer/attack training all the way and can't do dungeoneering breaks.

Developers Console...
Cheat engine is also awesome because you can make yourself look like any npc model in the game, if you can guess the ID. Walking around as a distorted Jad is pretty hilarious. My favourite, however, is Flesh Spoiler (dungeoneering boss) because it glitches and has crazy particle effects shooting out from you constantly.

Dark Beast Slayer Tasks
Dark beasts are the only slayer task where I choose the slower method (Kuradal's dungeon), over the faster method (Temple of light with cannon). It is faster to use cannon, but dark beasts are a really nice afk task to just stand there in Kuradal's and fight back.

Chaotic Rapier vs Longsword
This is the case for everyone who isn't mad that they bought a longsword first and are now doomed to justify their decision for all time. As much as I hate even posting here to bring this discussion back, I'm definitely on the side of the rapier even though I bought CLS first. (Back when people still thought they were even-ish <_< ) Quickly saw my error and got rapier. CLS has a few small niches, but yes, everyone should get rapier first.

20-Apr-2011 - Dungeoneering Guide Competition
Eh. They're gonna pick a guide by someone who doesn't train efficiently, but who trains in the way Jagex wants people to. Lots of crap about why teaming is important, make armour to fight bosses easier, etc. I started training dungeoneering right away and soloed to level 50-60. Isn't really that bad, but yes probably the best idea to just use exp lamps and points lol.

Questions about hexhunter bow
Ooh. How much more effective will hex be now?
