  1. An update for high levels is an update that gives low levels something to work for. There's already so much content for low-mid level players that they are high level before they even have the chance to try it all. Elite level combat players have been neglected of an update for a long time - if Jagex keeps releasing new prayers, potions, armour, weapons... we need a place to use them. End-game content is a huge part of MMOs... there will always be more and people maxing out. The existing ones are just ridiculously easy now - I can solo 30+ of pretty much every boss in one trip.
  2. Disagree with above. There are currently very, very few (0??) updates I would consider truly high level for combat. Agree with UNTRADABLE drops. Some sort of monster that perhaps actually takes skill to fight or is different every time. Maybe a boss where it has been designed so that you are actually benefited by having people who use each of the combat styles on your team, instead of having everyone use the exact same gear and combat style.
  3. Opaque is the opposite of transparent. You're trying to say translucent/transparent
  4. Definitely - just preferably not on the 2 crowded official worlds
  5. I would be very put off if the moderating became stricter. Would make these forums a significantly less fun place to be - super-serious discussion has its place, but I don't think that place is everywhere on forums dedicated to a game.
  6. Only took me about 60 minutes to range most of it :P
  7. I enjoy combat skills a lot generally (they're all 99). I suppose the exception to that was prayer, which I did before the altar-x updates. Nearly killed my wrist, but was worth it because I knew that it would get me 126 combat and maxed combat stats. My only non-combat 99's are herb and cooking, which were both easy and fast even if I didn't enjoy actually training them. I would have nearly maxed total if I did force myself to train skills I didn't enjoy.
  8. Plus the fact that they are not sure if batch 2 will even be this year.
  9. Well, I really didn't play much at all while away at university, so didn't get anything in rs done. Been trying to get back into it and be productive this summer... Here's some of the stuff I've done. Firstly, 80 dungeoneering/Chaotic longsword: 2200 total + 300 million total experience (yes, I have very high experience for my total): Solo armadyl hilt: Bank pic (not including any barrows items, and probably missing a bunch of items worth more than what I put in my inventory to make this) Working on 1b bank. Don't really have a reason for posting this, but haven't posted in here for a while and I wanted to. Don't have any particular goals in RS either.
  10. Wallasalkis tbh
  11. The first video isn't exactly a great example. Half of his kills are with range, plus he is obviously an incredibly skilled hybrid.
  12. Defender is better, that is pretty much a fact. DFS would only be better if you have absolutely no alternate healing methods... and even then I would rather bring food lol. Personally, I use defender for *every* task (other than wyverns). Even on tasks that do a lot of damage I don't even bring a healing familiar - I just rely on soul split.
  13. My only spec weapon most of the time is EE lol (with CLS). Maybe that's 'cause I only solo.
  14. That isn't how it works. A maxed total player can access every door with a pot. Any door that requires a skill over level 105 is a glitch.
  15. All rooms can be accessed with a pot if you have a maxed player... but no, not all rooms can be accessed in any given dungeon if no one on the team is high enough to reach it even with a pot. You haven't been doing dungeoneering for very long. Also... if you haven't found an altar someone should probably farm some herbs and make rejuvination pots for everyone. Worth spending 5-10 mins doing that instead of dying.
  16. Or you can wear armour + sw cape and still pray melee
  17. Black demons are not bad at all with a steel titan.
  18. Nothing is worthy of that title yet.
  19. They're coming OUT OF THE WALLS??
  20. If your range only went back up to 64 it means that you drank more than 3 doses of brew before drinking a restore.
  21. Am I the only one who had no idea that the titan's bonus is actually applied visually to your armour bonuses??? I knew what it did... just never noticed it was actually displayed.
  22. You have not hit 70 through melee prayer. Not possible. It DOES reduce damage. Whoever you were fighting switched to melee prayer too slowly.
  23. Dunno then, I did a similar sheet where all of the answers were online. Or maybe it was a website not a sheet. Meh. I'm probably not any help, going by those examples you're British or something - neither of those phrases are common to me.
  24. Unless you're talking about solo maging or hybriding or something where you can just live off of pony. In which case, you'd be either better off with defender/unholy book, or equally as well off with a DFS as you are with an elysian. But as said, when using a yak divine is best.
