I became members when I was lvl 60, a good start for me it was.

Well, you need to do 7 subquests to get at least rune gloves. So that would be all, exept the monkey madness one.

I've also seen that in around a couple of dead trees far north of seers village, where the maples are. Kinda creepy I think. :?

I think that the quests in RS are very unique and humourus compared to the other mmorpgs and there is a lot more emphasis (hope I've used that word correctly :oops: ) on skills than WoW. The quests and skills are not linear IMO.

The only dangerous thing I've done while afk, is just taking a peep at the tip.it forums while doing barrows.

Jagex have added in 4 gold rocks and 2 silver right near the bank which should be useful for gold miners. Once you've mined them and waiting for them to respawn, just go out the exit which is also near the bank and the new gold rocks, mine the other older 4 gold rocks outside in the cave. These gold rocks also make for great ranging/hallying spot for the Tzhaar monsters.

How about this: Wander around RuneScape while not training skills and thinking about how cool it would be to have 99 in all skills. I've seen so many noobs do that, they talk to me and say that they would want to be like me with my high skills, but they just stand around or follow me and not bothering to actualy train on thier skill.

Well done on the story of your RS life, I enjoyed reading it. I wished I came across RSC a lot sooner and play it, I hear so many stories on how RSC is much better than the noob ridden RS2.

I agree with that, combat level would be really useful in the highscores, would be better than a qp highscores.

Don't forget the bug that allowed players to attack others with magic when the abyss came out. I remember some people died and lost full dragon because of that.

Woah! The armour seems to have the best mage defence than any other armour. :shock: EDIT: Actualy they don't, black d hide armour still owns, except the robe bottom has +2 more mage def than the black chaps.

No, of course not, but you can go and pk with that setup. Those items are always available when pking after all...well that's what Jagex thinks. Jagex are always adding new and better items that add to your stats overall, like the metal gloves from RoD, or the capes from the Tzhaar caves. Those kind items are unbalancing the combat triangle. Rune armour needs a more substantial negative magic def stat, to make it more balanced so that enemy magic hits better.

216 qp is so easy to acheive anyway, a good percentage of the RS population have max qp.

The combat triangle (aka the pk triangle) as you know is still unbalanced. The f2p combat triangle is closer to being balanced than the p2p one, probably because it is very limited in equipment that has balanced stats. Take a look at my best melee set up: I have +20 magic defence on my melee setup, as the combat triangle goes it's supposed to be in the minus. Add on the protect from magic prayer and my own passive magic defence from my magic skill, I *could* own a mage in the wildy who just uses say bind/snare/entangle and damages me with normal missle spells like the fire missles. My character is more than just a warrior. Thoughts?

This reminds me of the abyss bug where players could kill other players by only using magic in the abyss. The bug appeared when the abyss came out.
