  1. Can I please see a high quality sig from you? All the ones I've seen are exactly the same...2d with no shading and very small.
  2. Dude what is with your [bleep]ing attitude [cabbage]?! Shut the hell up. You're full of a bunch of [cabbage] when you aren't even that good.
  3. why did you need another post?
  4. That was so detailed it wasn't even funny...  Seriously..no need to write a fricken novel :P Summary: PS + Color + Pencil = teh sexay pixels A wacom tablet and drawing skills come in handy :) Pfft let's not get all technical here. Anyways, on topic. Also, check out pixelation http://web1.t43.greatnet.de/. Good pixel artists there.

  6. Lmao :P I'd have to say i had some mixed "idols" back then. I was a fan of Uncovrd work back then, and also a fan of witty's work, which was kind of a wild ride. (Ask anyone, we have the bigest 2 person history around on the forums lol) I can't belive i forgot about dromar uk ( )too :D He pioneered the animation sig's (true animation sigs) and was awsome for that. My list is kind of like Kiephs, but i also put on people that i thought were a help to others, for example Tttia and IDPUP are always glad to help with sig makers, noob or not. Heck, even Keiph helped me out with my space scenes a few months ago :) if i was going on just pure style i would probaly add on Kaneso (*shivers*) and Witty fool. I just don't think that in a whole they helped out the comunity unlike others that helped build some of the newer sig makers. Also heres another thing to add to this post, what do you think was some of the bigest topics ever in scape history, it can be the massive sales of Uncovrds old old old style, Azvy's free sig rampage, my... *shakes head* bouts between me and witty, or anything, Recent or not. ps: I love these kind of posts, they always bring back good memorys lol :P Memories* :P I do agree with a lot that's being said here. Great sig makers go beyond just the sigs they make, their influence on the community makes a big difference. As for that comment made by (the_jeppoz?) I disagree, some of those older sigs still own any recent sigs. Witty had some amazing work. Another interesting point to bring up would be great sig makers of the different sig making "ages" I guess you could seperate the ages by years, grouped by differnt fads/phases (for example we are in the pixel phase right now  darn pixels lol) A while ago, modeling was big. I remember being inspiered from different modelers to work in bryce and try and make a mace (lol it was odd) but anyone remember the old modeling contest a while ago. Another person we could mention is the guy who worked on the Hellfire project (i forget his name) . however, if we were to group the top 10 by recent active sig makers (I.E. keiph , witty, alot of older sig makers arn't as active, if at all. or are in other places) The list would be serriously different. It would knock out a lot of the older, experianced people on the list off it, and let room for newer people. I'm not sure what were gunna see in the future (maybe another model revolution, who knows?) Or maybe some new kid is gunna come and knock us all down on our wagons, or maybe Witty or someone will comeback from the grave (or so to speak) and start a new revolution. Anyways, just my thoughts on it :D Oh man, I remember that guy. That was some pretty hot work he was doing...had a movie and everything. As for the modelling thing, wasn't there a big competition for best weapon or something? I think I remember everyone making maces and such..I didn't post back then though. Just viewed
  7. I believe that it's because the characters sometimes blend into the background so it helps bring them out.

  9. ha ha that owns, have some penguin on top of somone's shoulders "flashing" the band. No one wants to see penguin melons...
  10. yea i think thats him, yea he was good. He's still on these forums - posts sometimes. He goes under another name, though... Also, call him "Simiril", he loves that... *shifty eyes* Oh yeah, Keiphus, how modest of you putting your name there. o_o Anywho, as for the list. *copies* *pastes* Silent009 Br Killer Keiphus Alex GreatSilverWyrm Witty-Fool ColAvanor DromarUK Tttia Misterxman Simirilion/Danabis Nadril Uncoverd/DementedHero - I feel obligated putting his name there, since he (and Keiphus) were the ones who got me into GFX (almost 2 years ago). He's also an excellent PSP'er and brusher. The_Jeppoz could go on there, but I haven't really seen anything else other than his pixel sigs... And I feel like most of the guys I've mentioned, can do pretty much anything. Not just abstracts, landscapes... etc. Yeah... // Azvi. Probably the best list I've seen but I still dont' like some of the selections..haven't seen enough variety from people. I stated this earlier but no one seemed to read it, the best should consist of people that are really good at multiple things not just one.
  11. Best sigmakers at what? I mean some of the people you listed have quite a bit of knowledge in all areas which makes them good and some can only do one thing like pixel...Seems like the "best" sigmakers shoudl be able to do everything.
  12. whats raster??? Vector images can be resized with ease and they still look the same. They don't show pixels. Raster images usually need to stay the size they are or smaller otherwise they'll show pixels. It's harder to make vectors in PS. A lot of people use illustrator since it's always vector I believe so logos can always be resized.
  13. "I then minimize it to make it look smoother, cause its pixely at full size" Wouldn't tha tmean it's raster and not vector then? Still looks good nonetheless though.
  14. Wow might want to put your ego on a leash...it's getting out of hand. There is no reason in hell for you to be saying that no one else should give this a try but you and misterxman.
  15. That was the basis of the idea. OPEC! That would be so cool to run a good sig corporation. Infact we could be SIG MAKERS UNITED or SMU for short :D Then we could have pixel division and abstract/grunge division. We could make like 10 mill per sig! hahahahaha. But ya i would only really do it for pixels, cuz theyre actually worth the money and theyre all the rage  muhahahahaha    Or holy friggen crap this sounds like the SMG that used to exist on scapeboard where only good artists were allowed to go..and later it became the DAG and some more people could come in like me. As for owning the market, good luck with that. With the new people joining, the people that wont' liek the idea, and the people just better then you that you didn't want it, you will never be able to control it.
  16. I say you should pick one and stick with it *cough* tennis *cough*. I'm a tennis player if you didn't catch on.
  17. What kind of union excludes the common worker?
  18. lol... i almost have a 4 pack lol... Heh I can see that 8) . I swear you dress exactly like my ex-gf does...she got her bell button pierced for her 17th birthday and I swear she has that skirt. no way! where did she get her skirt? I don't know...she shops anywhere but Old Navy I'm pretty sure. So the chances are probably pretty high that it's the same one.

  20. Looks very good but there seems to be too much wasted space in the content area. All the black that surrounds the menus...
  21. We have a screenshot of a message from Jagex saying it is ok. This guy has just written this himself for some apparent reason.
  22. Dude...no one wants to see that :P . And as for everyone else that says "get a six pack" I'd put money on it that none of you have anything resembling a six pack without flexing your abs. I'm pretty skinny already (6 feet 143 pounds) and have been working out rigorously and my six pack is barely visible when left alone. But ti always helps if you post right after you work out
  23. sigh..ever notice when you hover over the image you can enlarge it?
  24. Yeah, I saw what vlad saw too. New version looks great. Excellent work :!:
