I would have to say Drunken T was the master sig maker :P. Oh man.. his rs sigs were insane.

i personally think there is alot of good sig makers here... but thats just my opinion...

These are based on overall popularity and how well their signatures sell/sold... There are plenty of excellent artists who aren't on here, mainly because they didn't make sigs for the general public all that much... There could even be some artists on here who aren't that great, but their signatures went like hotcakes... But I think this list is pretty accurate as far as TipIt history... Correct me if I'm wrong. ;)

The sigmaking prices dropped wuite alot back then, and he tried to ask the same price as he was used to, and that were rather high prices if I remember right.. Man, how he got flamed :lol:

Hmmz, I wouldnt call him a great sigmaker, at least not one of the best..

Best sigmakers at what? I mean some of the people you listed have quite a bit of knowledge in all areas which makes them good and some can only do one thing like pixel...Seems like the "best" sigmakers shoudl be able to do everything.

Not everyone can fairly judge this, as not everyone has actually seen some lesser-known artists work.

It all depends on what art they do. Each art has a diffrent stratagy to get a good sig, and each has more skill in the grograms they use. Try doing top 10 Pixel, Grundge, Abstract, Smilies, Etc.

I see most people base their opinions on how well known a person is rather then how good they truely are. I see many posts of crappy work where everyone says incredible job just simply because the person is well known, then a person of just the same skills posts and gets flamed for some small mistakes. Everyone has their opinions so topics like these are pointless. 8)

Lists would vary if you went into more specific categories, but that one sum it up nicely.

and i cant live up with the big ones yet tho i agree with jeppoz being the best and pixeling then xman his wildy sigs are good

who was that one guy who always had a Spawn Sig? i used to love his work, even though he hated me.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

and dont forget about Incyod, even though he didnt submit many sigs, he still beat Witty in Twiceborn sig competition.
