[/hide] ... no. I'm just saying y would they change it just for the benefit of the assist system? ... That 'just' is the problem. It wasn't changed 'just' for benefit of the assist system. It was also changed because it had absolutely nothing to do with laws runes, runecrafting or even Entrana. It's hundreds of squares away from the alter, even. Having that as a reward made no sense. Also, that thing about this being the reason why law runes have dropped in price is complete bogus. Before the GE, there was world 66, 99, and some other worlds that also had organization, together making hundreds of thousands of law runes every single day. All of that stopped suddenly. It's a miracle that law rune prices haven't skyrocketed, actually.

imp wont drop this amulet, quest will give I know that. That's why I'm killing the imps. They drop the beads that I need to finish the quest.

My account, Cheezy Power is still active on it. Only level 17 with 149 total, though. Made this one at the release of rs2, thinking the transfer would make all my stats go to 1 in classic, still not sure if it did or didn't :P Been so busy with this account, I didn't manage to log into my first one, so now it cant get into classic any way. Guess it doesn't matter that I forgot and lost his password, eh? I do log in from time to time on Cheezy Power, though. I mostly just kill imps. I want to get that amulet of accuracy!

Any items on the GE you just stop selling?
Cheezy_Power replied to cookiestealer222's topic in General Discussion
I think another reason people are a bit inpatient about this; is how they don't want to leave the grand exanchange. They get every thing set up to go skilling, then have the message telling them their item was sold. They'd have to go back, and do all that again. Though they could just leave it in there. Though right now, many people are trying to clear out their banks. The 6 slots just aren't enough for some people. I don't think I need to tell any one that the prices are caused by people selling as low as they can, eh? If you ask me, runescape is to impatient for a system like this. -

Theres also a pretty funny thing that happens when you speak to the slave after giving the fish to evil bob during the island event. Try it next time you get the event if you haven't already :P -
One million grain... I bet no one has that!

Wow...I never viewed it like this, and i beleive this is one of the most valid points I've seen. Gratz on putting the pieces together, but boy do i hope your wrong... It would be a valid point, except that he still forgot that you can arrange a private PK to transfer money. If JaGeX limits Wilderness kills to 3k every 15 minutes, people WILL leave in droves. It wouldn't be the best method possible, which would greatly reduce the amount of gold buyers due to the fact that they might get pked with the money after they get it. However; they could give the wilderness a max level deferential of about 3. This would make it much harder for the player to buy their gold in that method as well. Yes, it would ruin mage bank pking, but if they ruined high-staking, I'm sure they wouldn't hesitate too much to remove that. Especially since the grand majority of fights in the wild happen to be in lower level wilderness any way.

I forgot to mention (not the lazy part), that they would also have to make it so items that you drop no longer appear to other players. There. Pretty sure that would fill in all the possible leaks.

Look a the pictures, both are 280 each. You need 91 to craft 2 nats per ess, MANY of the nat crafters do not have 91. It may be true that more people buy nats, but there are more people selling them too. A bit less people selling deaths, but a lot less selling. That makes it easier to sell them, really. It's the same path in the abyss, where the massive percentage of runcrafters make their runes. But yeah, that quest is probably the only thing stopping them.

Jagex is ruining the game for higher level players.
Cheezy_Power replied to thegarrett73's topic in Rants
That it takes skill to get to a level were you and a clan can repetitivlyu own in the old PC, to get this you need to be about 90+cb level, ebcauser lower levelsd were joining into the games it made High levels very angry, and for good reason, so they made clans of a bunch of high level players to completly own PC, Jagex saw this and tried all they could to put a stop on it, makeing the game harder for higher level players, PS: thanks for saying this if people dont understand what I ment than it doesnt help, Ooh! I see what you mean now. But, they didn't try to make a stop for all of it. They just made it so you don't need to join a clan now. If any thing, they fixed the problem you just described by making boats where the lower levels cannot enter. So they did made it easier, like what you said in the first spot. But, in this post you said that they're making it harder? Which goes against your second last paragraph on your first post. The 100+ pc portal is WAY Harder than the origanal pc was.... Atleast what all my clan members say (I am in a clan with a decent amount of high level players) So, none of this is your opinions? Just what your clan members say? I can see where all the contradiction was coming from. You should wait till you're level 100+ before you complain about pest control any way. You haven't used all the boats in you're in your 80s (as you stated on the first page). And it's not very good to complain about something when you haven't tried every thing possible about it, first. -

The event is in f2p, so don't you mean normal strength potions? :P That might confuse a few people. Though I don't post much (look at when I joined, and my amount of post), I do read a lot. I like tip.it. To bad I wont be able to show up on that day :( -

I think this is all part of a master plan to get rid of real world item trading, which would stop all the bots at the same time. Right now, all they have to do is limit person to person trading to 3k every 15 minutes. Now, there will be absolutely NO way for people to to do some real world item trading. I'm guessing this is why they added loot share, eh? To allow friends (who aren't around the same level) to be able to somewhat evenly distribute the loot since they wouldn't be able to share drops 50\50. There's a few other things, but I haven't the will to type them. Call me lazy if you want. :P

Sorry, cant help but to point out how much you're contradicting yourself right there. First, you complain about how they're making it harder to level up, then you turn right around and say they're making the game too easy? So, I take it you're one of those "incredibly inept children who refuse to put in the time and effort it takes to be good in this game", or did you just over look that thing? Oh, and if you question me omitting that last paragraph, None of those things that you mentioned made any thing easier for lower levels. It either kept things the same, or made it harder. Simple. If cant seem to figure out how, tell me. I'll tell you how. But first, since you seem to be so stuck on making things harder; try figuring it out before asking me. There makeing tha game easy for newer players buy makeing things cheaper, and ruining the way high level player level up and make money. Sorry if that wasn't Clear. EDIT/ADD: To me makeing it harder for a group of higher level players to level up and make killing hard monsters easyer to repeat is why I dont like the PC update. If you also look at how you said that these updates are making it harder to high levels to make money, wouldn't that mean that with the decrease in prices you seem to think is going on make things the same as it used to be? In turn, that would make the value of the GP higher, making higher levels richer without then doing any thing. So in fact, what you just said would make them profit from the updates. However, the ONLY way I seen that high levels made money you talked about was the duel arena. Since you said you where in your 80s, (about the level for a high levelled pure), I'm assuming that when you said it makes it harder for high levels to make money, you're talking about the pures you mentioned. Though, I have seen level 40s with party hats that they've won from the duel arena. Wouldn't that mean that it made it harder for low levels too? I don't really understand what you said about pest control, mind elaborating? -

Did you know... ...that the fish that's called karambwan heals after you're finished the eating animation instead of when you start the animation. That's the reason why sharks are the preferred food for pking and killing high levelled monsters. :P
-
Rotten food is the most useless! Seriously, think about it. No quest, no mixing with any thing, no nothing. There is absolutely NO use for it. Unlike rares, it doesn't have a value. Unlike ashes, it isn't used in a quest.

You know that a 99 cape untrimmed is the same as an obby cape, right? Just a bit weird how the 2nd best, and 4th best capes have the same stats. I'm writing this purely without a notion of monetary value.

How did you make money as a newb?
Cheezy_Power replied to Lacrosse_fan's topic in General Discussion
I used to cut willow trees near the lumbridge general store. I was using a steel axe with and selling all those lovely logs to the store. Raked in a smooth 3k a day doing that. Oh, the good ol' days! -
what was the best thing u gave to some1 for FREE?
Cheezy_Power replied to amazizing333's topic in General Discussion
I have 1m to two random level 3s fresh of the island. No thank yous, no thanks. Just silence as they walked away. Probably because they didn't have too much value. I bet they just dropped it :P. I got a bigger reaction off a level 30 when I gave him 30k though. It was about 2 mins after the above. -

But how many seeds do you have? I have almost 4 rows of them :-w I only keep the seeds I need. Bassicly ranarrs, kwuarms snap dragons water melons and some of the high tree seeds It's awfully pointless to have 4 rows of seeds. Seriously, why do you need so many? you'll never grow any of the lower level seeds once you reach certain levels. No one buys them (being worth less than 5 gps each for the most of them). EDIT: I should add that i'm level 102, with 1760+ total, and 227 QPs. If you're a logical person (and someone who isn't lazy [for getting items back if you need them later]) having bank space is no problem. -

If a member loses his membership, and becomes a nonmember. They can still play around with all those member objects in his back (take them out, drop them, move them around). Myself, I never really knew bankspace was an issue until I read this article. I keep all my random event clothe, strange fruit, all those items like hammers, buckets ect... every herb unided and ided (even the odd ones like snapdragon), every usefull potion (super antis, poisons, super sets prayer potions ect...) in both 3 and 4 doses all my runes (and the list goes on)at the top of my bank. I also have all my armours, arrows, various quest armour and every thing cluttering up the bottom of my bank. And i still seem to have around 6+ rows of bank space in my bank. I'm puzzed about how people run out of bank space (members mostly, I can see non members running out easisly)
