There are achievement diaries, the GWD, and a good number of quests. When there are no quests, people rant about how they need a quest. Whenever there is a quest, people rant about how hard it is, how the reward sucks, etc etc..

This is probably why, the red spiders are close to the west varrock bank, so it would make sense if the character still thought it could attack the monster, despite the 1 level floor difference. The blip would explain this, if you had run on, the lag would freeze the screen while the character ran towards the bank along the wall.

I would say that this quest is way too long and that the rewards are unbalanced compared with the quest. Also, almost 60% of F2P is below level 70, so this quest would be rubbish
