Same here. I hardly ever brush my teeth and they're in better condition than the rest of the people in my family who brush 3 or so times a day. For the record, I've gotten 4 fillings during my life. All of which came when I was brushing regulary. I've had no cavities since I stopped. I also eat more stuff which is supose to rot my teeth now aswell. I can vaugely recall something a while ago about some toothpastes being worse for your teeth than most junk foods. If I can find the article I'll post the link. Something about those whitening toothpastes stripping off the protective layer on your teeth or something like that.

The general track record for Ouiji boards overall is not good. Apparently there have been family breakups, suicides, murders, financial ruin, etc. Most of which can be traced back to use of an Ouiji board. Take it with a level head though. Usually only the bad things about things go reported ;)

My mum has had some weird experiences with Ouiji boards. She's really into all that Fung Sei (whatever it is) and crystal healing, etc. I don't have any details about them all, but she says they're quite scary at times. I'm a bit of a skeptic towards them. Despite my intrest in the occult, wicca, etc. Something just never seems to add up when it comes to piece of wood talking. *shrug* If I can find the one at home, I'll try it out.

I don't know about 30 years, but I can easily say that I'll be friends with at least 10 people I met online in 10 years time. I already have one online friendship which has lasted over 10 years. And 3 more are approaching the 5 year mark. Fairly good odds I'd say ;) Edit: And I'll add that I am currently engaged someone I met online. But I haven't counted that as being 'online' for many years :P But for the record, we've known each other for 7 years now I think.

Aye. I like tie-breaks for the 3rd game. Always makes for a better atmosphere :D And I have to admit that NSW's play with going for mobile forwards payed off in the second half. Very good move indeed. If both teams still have aces up their sleves, Game 2 is going to be sweet. I got the feeling that QLD learnt a trick with the field goals after last years loss as a result of one. Guess they figured easy points if the opportunity was there :P

Looks like you have to open a connection to the cs-manager.com server before your applet will be able to access it. Why not just get the images you want and dump them on the same server as the applet?

Where' the image? If it's in the same dir as the applet you can just use: Image myImg = getImage(getCodeBase(), "my_img.gif"); (you can also use getDocumentBase() if the img is in the same dir as the html displaying the applet). Otherwise you have to use: Image myImg = getImage(new URL("http://www.my_url.com/my_img.gif"));

There's no offical specs which have been released. Hence whay any "valid" answer would be pure speculation. Much like the leaked "specs" which consist of the following... Those specs are fairly close to the XBOX360, IIRC. I'd be taking them with more than a pinch of salt though. But if I had to put a finger on how powerfull the Revolution is... ~80% that of the PS3 or XBOX360. Unless Nintendo are holding back on something big.... There's a tonne of rumors out there about the Revolution and with no official statement from Nintendo to confirm or deny them the general public will just have to sit tight and wait. I'd be suprised if the final specs weren't released by November though :-? You might not even have to have official specs to get a rought idea of power. When Sony or Microsoft start to release real-time statistics you could probably get a rough idea of where the Revolution will stand overall.

Game Engine > Hardware If the game engine can't render what the hardware is HYPERTHETICALLY capable of supporting then what's the point in having such hardware? If you want to ponder on what the PS3 and XBOX360 can do... 1. Think of the PS2 and the Xbox and consider the huge difference between what they should've been able to do compared to what they did do 2. Apply the same differences to the PS3 and XBOX360. 3. Cry And Nintendo gave facts. Real-time facts. Sony and microsoft gave HYPERTHETICAL DATA, which are not facts. People are just too stupid and narrow minded to notice the difference. Rather pathetic really.
