  1. Final Destination allowed range-based characters to dominate - it was very unbalanced. Fountain of Dreams on the other hand was balanced and presented the pure battle of character and skill.

My opinion of the current list... Hostel - Gore Saw I,II,III - Gore Texas Chainsaw Massacre - Gore Exorcist - Medicore at best (depends on which version you see) Cannibal Holocaust - Gore IMO they need a new genre for movies (like Hostel and the like) which play on gore to scare people and leave Horror to the ones which use psychological fear to scare.

    These might be what you're after... - Ringu (1998) - Ringu 2 (1999) - Ringu 0: B̢̮̉̉sudei (2000) - Ju-on (2000) - Ju-on 2 (2000) - Ju-on: The Grudge (2003) - Ju-on: The Grudge 2 (2003)
  4. It's a weaksauce trick and it fails more often than succeeds. Especially when the cop mounted the curb. [cabbage] lines like that fall into the "I didn't shoot you - you feel onto my bullet" category of pathetic :uhh:
  5. dontclick.it is awesome - i did an analysis of it semester 1 06, excellent stuff. perhaps one of the best sociology studies i have ever found and the implementation is beautifully done. Generally I don't like 100% flash but it's one of the few examples where they only use it for what they have to :
  6. I'm with the 'yawn' crowd here, if Australia gets some kind of 9/11 [cabbage] over prime time i'll be pissed off. Might be a different deal for you Americans, but I didn't blink when I saw it on the TV when I woke up that morning. I actually went through every channel looking for one which wasn't broadcasting it because I didn't give a damn. 3,000 lives lost - meh. That's been replaced and then some already.
  7. I got a few .16x and .17x then this baby
  8. it'd be for people like Herr who are hardcore with the music :-$
  9. Search found 3107 matches Total posts: 8009 Difference: -4902 Major hax -.- And on the issue of reading old posts - once when bored I started at the last page of off topic (this was on scapeboard) and read every single thread / post right up to page 1. took me like 5 hours

penguin - you gotta do it right
  11. Proof in a word - Crysis.
  12. in high school, we drafted waivers which we had people sign then hand to office which said that they (the student) took full responsibility for any injuries sustained while playing red rover. and it was quite lucky too because some guy got his sholder dislocated and when his parents heard they went ape[cabbage], but the school produced his statement of 'i undertake this at my own risk' which he had signed and they shut up about it.
  13. Theists (those who believe) Agnostic (those who aren't sure - fence sitters) Atheist (those who don't believe)
  14. That requires too much thinking for todays youth. Playing their PSP / DS seems like a closer bet as to what they'll be doing.
  15. Samnus was excellent in Melee, where'd you get lame from?
  16. Technically there hasn't been a DOS prompt in Windows since 98 :P It's just the standard command shell prompt. Or should Collective's suggestion fail (unlikely) you can just use the Shift + Right Click within a working directory to 'open shell command here' :)
  17. iq fell into the negatives with those last 3 replies :uhh:
  18. And the second leaves a lot to be desired, no deviation while uncoped for one.
  19. so in short he's a 'nade spammer? Yea right skill :uhh:
  20. You really need admin backing more than mod backing ;) And if you can get some of the members on side who know more about phpBB than most of the staff (and quite a number of admins actually) then that's a good sign :P
  21. Not that I have read. So far the only Fire Emblem character to be confirmed has been Ike :-? OT: Which Fire Emblem was Ike from? I forget... Path of Radiance
  22. What the hell - if you don't want to play don't run. Then once tagged sit there and do nothing. If they want to continue their game they can tag someone else once it's obvious you aren't going to do it :uhh: I seriously blame the kids who didn't want to play more than the teaching staff. Kid complains and rather than pointing out the obvious (fault of the kid) the staff ban the game :uhh:
  23. Battlefield 2 (PC) Oblivion (PC) FarCry (PC) Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64) Myst (PC)
