Bratwursts with baked beans. A man's meal.

I plan on getting it eventually. I don't want to buy at full price right now - plus BF3 is a greater priority.
  3. Got Metroid Prime back from my girlfriend and started a new file. I forgot I let her borrow it... thought I lost it lol.
  4. Am I the only one who despises 1v1's? Now I can handle 2 on 2's, but running around looking for only one person to shoot is so plain and boring. The teamwork is the main reason I'm drawn to the game.
  5. Yes. Sometimes I'll even add unnecessary words to fix this.

Yeah, just one of those things where your mileage may vary. I know of an old guy who used to be a raging alcoholic and would always have some sort of lesson to teach if anybody did so much as stick a toe out of line - he transitioned over to marijuana and now he's the most laid back old guy I know. On the other hand, I've met some who just can't cope with mind-altering effects at all - it would just serve as a catalyst for mischief and drama. My apologies for suggesting such a gamble.

Socialization, drugs (some people prefer religion as their sedative state of mind), and any personal hobby or form of escapism you can find. In some instances, leisure is the most constructive thing you can do.
  8. Sometimes I feel like a dick for lashing out on people. I mean, it's never done out of the blue just for the sake of it. It's always some pretty bothersome situation that triggers me into getting mad and I would even go as far as to say that the anger is logically justified, but sometimes I cross the line with my confrontational tone. Sometimes I forget that people are people, bound to make mistakes every day of their sloppy lives. It just doesn't help that whenever I do act like a dick, everyone around me magically shapes up, as if it was just what we all needed. Sometimes you just can't win.
  9. The whole creative thought process they once used to craft classics has been replaced with profit formulas. "What sells?" I don't know, retards... how about giving the audience something that hasn't been replicated in the same old stale fashion 100+ times.
  10. Yeah, I don't get the stigma. What makes this any different than let's say two neighbors having sex - or coworkers. People meet sexual partners anywhere.

So I studied hard and earned a 100% on my first official college quiz - the class average being only 68%. Well because the average was so extraordinarily low, she decided to give all of them 100's too...
  12. Incubus - Pardon Me "Pardon me while I burst into flames. I've had enough of the world and its people's mindless games. So pardon me while I burn and rise above the flame."
  13. Indeed, but it still makes for interesting conversation. In the right situations, my adrenaline has been known to help me take action immediately - sometimes faster than I can think. If I would get myself physically involved with school fights to defend some friend of mine, I think that's pretty strong evidence that I'd do anything in my power to save my loved ones from being hurt.

I didn't even know such a thing existed. I always thought it was just a general rule of thumb that college kids need to drink as much as they physically can in order to get through that [cabbage].
  15. Yeah, sometimes going to college isn't even a matter of improving skills or covering new territories - it's just to establish your credibility. But I also think he brought up a good point - kids need to be entering college because they have a steady game plan and because getting that particular degree is the next step in achieving their well thought-out goals - not just because "college = rich". Basically, people just need to understand what they're getting themselves into when they sign up. There are too many dropouts that come to this realization after they're already obligated to pay for their tuition. Main reason why I waited so long to enter myself.
  16. Playing WoW on a x1 private WotLK server. Training a variety of characters and seeing which ones I have the most fun on.

I think that's the difference between being bullied and being harassed. EDIT: Wait... Then sounds like that "bully" was doing a service to the neighborhood by pointing out all the [bleep]ed up things she was hiding from her close friends. When I think of "bullies", I think of kids ganging up on (usually smaller) kids and teasing them about all their shortcomings. Harassment is when someone systematically wants to cause you as much misery as they can, which has more of a sadistic connotation to it. The instance that you mentioned just sounds like a case of "What comes around, goes around".
  22. While I agree that 9/11 is too ambiguous to endure years and years of future events, 3000 people dying at the snap of a finger due to one horrific, ill-minded, political-based cause is an entirely different circumstance than the accumulated 6500 people that die daily due to everyday reasons such as car accidents, medical problems, bad weather, animal attacks, etc.
  23. I'm the same way. In some cases, one's death can mean the safety of many others. As for physically witnessing it, I would undoubtedly find it to be an abhorrent experience. It bothers me how common it was for audiences to witness hangings/burnings/electrocutions out of amusement. If I ever had to kill someone to save an innocent person's life, it would only be out of martyrdom. Ideally, I wish no one had to be killed.... but definitely better that it's a person who has an insatiable bloodlust than a productive member of society.
  24. Have you heard Black Tongue? It's awful... No, I'll give it a listen soon. Mastodon is really hit or miss for me.
