System of a Down - Toxicity

I agree with you. Every method has it's different pros and cons. You lost out on Slayer Xp in exchange for faster Hp Xp. We just have to face it. Players have come up with this bizarre "rule book" on how things are supposed to be done in the game. That's why terms like these exist: Def Noobs, Prayer Noobs, 1-itemer Noobs, PC Noobs, etc. I think we should all just let each other play the game how we want as long as it's not immoral or anything.

They didn't effect the game? Then, after the RWT updates, why have all the bots disappeared? In Runescape, we took out RWT which took out bots. This might not hold true in some other games, but for Runescape, RWT and bots go hand in hand. If you don't believe me, go behind Varrock castle and discover that bots are extremely scarce ever since the RWT updates. It's like saying a drug seller and drug buyer aren't intertwined nor responsible for the existence of the other party.

People bash other people for any reason possible. It's just a technique they use to boost their own self-esteem. The best thing to do is to not let them get to you. I view a level 138 as a highly respectable account, no matter what the total level is. I also admire those with high totals no matter what their combat is. They're both nice achievements in my eyes.

I get the most while alching. I think I got like 20 in one day. Randoms really like you when you stay in one spot. -.-

This was RWT's fault. Yes, not all of them were children - but you're right. Jagex made these updates to protect newer players. This was RWT's fault. Many experienced players find this useful - me included. I don't think it was catering to any certain type of player. It's beneficial to the community as a whole. Nice thread, Highlanders. This has always been a large issue in my eyes, although I have never been effected by it personally. It's always sad to see an innocent man get in trouble. Are you happy with the current report system weve got? Not really. One minute (or is it 30 seconds?) in between reports is the only safeguard from preventing a lot of unnecessary reports. This makes for a huge waste of time on Jagex's part. I'm sure you don't see rulebreakers every one minute of playing. Are you happy with the current customer support? Not at all. Jagex needs to read through the reports thoroughly the first time. Like you said, the Ban Appeal just proves that the whole system is currently ridiculous. How do you think Jagex could improve their system? I think you answered this question yourself in the first post. :)

My brother played the saxophone too. It's partly responsible for his musical interest and now he plays guitar - which he is great at by the way. I guess I also have a talent for writing. Apparently, I was the smartest kid in my English 3 class last year and writing is something I've always liked to do. There's always room for improvement though, and that's one of the reasons I stick around the forums. :D

I do feel safe. As stated, it only serves as another way to lose your account.

You only choose to look at the "baby" updates. What about GWD, skill capes, Summoning, etc.? I don't see 9 year olds with Godswords. The game is expanding, meaning there will be both "childish" updates and hardcore updates.

I play the bass guitar, and I'm trying to teach myself how to play the keyboard a little. It sounds funny, but I think bass is much easier since I find it impossible to get comfortable with a keyboard.

I can do the same thing with my thumbs and arms. It freaks people out.

So then you are saying since the bees don't have the ability to reason they are making the wrong choice? Actually, bees earned themselves the reputation of a bug we don't want to mess with. Besides, we are reasoning - reasoning that it's okay to defend yourself and others.

I think once we get enough Achievement Diaries, there should be a Diary Cape similar to the Quest Cape. If you own both, they will be trimmed. Edit: Wow, looks like this is a popular idea after all.

And what's wrong with that in an already unfair playing field? Maybe you might feel remorseful, but if someone was putting my family in danger and I had to take care of business I wouldn't feel a tad of regret. It just shows that I care more about my family than someone who was trying to hurt us. They made the choice of wronging us, knowing the consequences. If it came down to it and I robbed a house, I wouldn't be angry if the owner shot at me. I was intruding, and scaring him. Do bees not sting when threatened?

I am wrong that you should be positive about things? Sorry, I didn't know I was supposed to live my life being unhappy.

And if you viewed things positively, you would see that there is no deadline. You were the one who started this thread. We're just showing you that your story is not the same for everyone.

Looks like you failed to see our point. We're saying to be optimistic and stop being so set on the past. If you're going to stick around on Runescape, find something that interests you. Don't just complain that something you liked is gone. And the pot calls the orange "black".

Smither is right. You're just being pessimistic about this. Instead of trying to find different ways of having fun, you complain about how much better the old days were. Skilling isn't the only reason people play either. If this game didn't have Castle Wars, I probably wouldn't even play.

I don't like it either. It just takes up a the ring slot for nothing in my opinion.
