  1. So basically what is being said is that if you are not breaking the rule for the reason which it was put there for, then you are in the clear. (The RWT rule is there to prevent devaluing achievements and this is supposedly "invalid".) It's the same thing as saying it's okay to bug abuse because you are "technically" not spoiling the game since there are unfair things in Runescape - making the reason it's against the rules "invalid". I guess it must also be "okay" to use offensive language until you actually offend someone. That must mean it's "okay" to encourage rule-breaking too unless someone actually obeys you. Heck, this means you can practically break any rule you want.
  2. Rust covered pretty much everything. Also, Jagex were banning tons and tons of bots which was a big waste of time for them. Now that RWT is gone, so are the bots. What does that say right there? RWT isn't the spirit of the game either. Using your real life success to get success in a video game isn't what Jagex wanted. Runescape is supposed to be a competitive game and RWT ruins that aspect. Gift-giving is a whole different story. First, there aren't whole companies dedicated to gift-giving so it's on a much smaller scale than RWT. Second, gift-giving didn't cause bots to exist. Third, gift-giving is an act of kindness which is something Jagex likes. It's their game and we all agreed to the terms of use so I think they're entitled to say what is right and what is wrong. Of course, you will have your RWT defenders that try to embellish the act of breaking a rule, but every rose has it's thorns.

Of course there are marijuana related deaths. For goodness sakes, there are pen cap related deaths. That's not what we were talking about though. She said you can OD and die from marijuana and that just goes to show that she needs to do some more research before making judgments like that. I'm not trying to advertise the drug to anyone. If you don't want to do it, I'm perfectly fine with that. But when you come on here and tell us false things to make it look worse than it really is then that's just propaganda. Yeah let's make video games illegal too since kids have been known to become addicted to video games and even kill other people over consoles. There are video game related deaths and you have to pay money to play so they should be illegal too...
  4. [hide=] [/hide] I retract my statement. I only saw their picture on the KB. Those in game pics make them just look like beheaded pigs with a lot of extra skin... Edit: Haha, Bloodveld it looks like we are two people that will never agree. :P
  5. Alright I get it now. It's just like the Mudkip thing. OT: The new ones look like something from Half-Life or The Thing. I personally prefer the new graphics over the original ones. It makes them look more threatening.
  6. What's up with the Bloodveld obsession? They have horrible drops. :-#

I never knew it was possible to truly get addicted to soda until I saw five cans of coke next to my brother's computer, one day after we bought them.

Sorry but that statement alone shows that you don't really have a good understanding of the drug. You can't OD and die from marijuana.
  9. One quest down, three to go.
  10. What better time is there than the gap in between Summoning and Summoning 2? Of course they could fix things along the way, but that would be pretty pointless when they can just make one large update. That's just how Jagex likes to do things. You make it seem like Summoning was the only time Jagex ever fixed something. Look at all the updates they released... Many many updates were ranted about and nerfed or fixed. Does that mean that Jagex rushed to get all those updates out to cover up mistakes too? Those few lines you said imply that you must be here just for the sake of arguing because it's not relevant to the topic. It's the same people, making the same type of rants, and getting the same response. It all follows a formula.
  11. They released the skill. That was the important part. Then they got feedback from players and it turns out a lot of people weren't satisfied. Jagex already said they would release Summoning 2, so this gave them a chance to work out all the bugs and improve the skill. You're telling me that if opportunity knocks, you don't answer? No matter what Jagex does, Eatrunearrow's just going to find a way to bash them. If Jagex didn't release Summoning 2, they would be considered liars and uncaring. If they do release Summoning 2, they are "covering something up". Maybe it's unwise of me to argue with people who view everything Jagex does in a negative light. The point of this thread: "I have a suspicion that Jagex is trying to make us happy!" I can't wait to see your rant about the new graphics. -.-
  12. This is the reason why there was a Summoning 2: In the first Summoning diary, they told us they wanted to release it in January. Look: Four diaries for one skill, not to mention the eggs and other things which caused a lot of hype for Summoning. If they didn't release it on time, then you would probably make a rant about them being liars. Jagex kept a promise. That's what they did. And you transformed a promise-keeping into a theory about covering mistakes up. I guess it boils down to if you believe in what Jagex says or not. I've answered your question. Now I'd like you to answer mine.
  13. So this is an argument about timing - not the actual content? Then let me ask you something. If the wilderness update took place in 2006, would you say the Hunter Skill was released to serve as a distraction?
  14. [hide=][/hide] Unless you're going to argue to me that Jagex puts up false information on their site now, I think I've made it clear that Summoning was not a last minute project with the purpose of pleasing upset PKers/traders.
  15. Well, I don't have a "wiffey". My friends usually come and go with the exception of one good one.
  16. It would be too boring. The multiplayer aspect is what got me to come to Runescape in the first place.
  17. You cannot get a real response from players until they have experienced the update. The update was on Decemeber 10th of 2007 if I remember correctly. Jagex could have been working on the wilderness update since 2004, but that doesn't make a difference. The thing that matters is the reaction of players which couldn't be seen until after the update - December 2007. Why would the work on covering something up that hasn't even been released yet - thus not knowing what the feedback would be. Unless you can prove to me that Jagex can predict our reactions to their updates, Summoning was not a cover up.
  18. I don't see how training your character makes you an elitist. Some people train for other reasons other than rankings. PS: 2049 total level right here so don't listen to me. I'm completely biased.
  19. The fact that it takes time for your seeds to grow means that people will be more selective about which seeds they use and which they want to throw out. A lot of people want to throw out the low leveled onces since they can get more money and Xp from the higher ones, so the price goes to an ultimate low.
  20. [hide=] [/hide] The resemblance is uncanny. :anxious:
  21. Venom and Death are bands every metal fan should hear at least once.
  22. Hey, long time no see. Good luck on your goals and congrats with the Mining. ;)
  23. They were working on Summoning since the end of 2006. The wilderness updates took place at the very end of 2007. You're telling me that they can look one year into the future and see the PKers' responses about an update which didn't even happen yet?
