  1. The only pros I can see in WOW is the flexible character creator and the diverse range of PVP feats/classes. WOW quests are the most repetitive quests I have ever witnessed in a video game, along with the skilling proficiencies (even worse than RS). At least Runescape has some things that liven up skilling: Achievement Capes, Quest Requirements, the ability to train every single skill instead of the few you selected, and I guess some people like ranks so High Scores too. We also have some pretty original quests. Like Highlanders said though, this is probably going to be the most biased thread you'll see in ages.
  2. New bank = my favorite update of all time, and it hasn't even come out yet. :D
  3. We probably will have a Sailing/Boating Skill eventually, but I doubt we're gonna get it right after Summoning was just released. New skills cause the most hype when it comes to updates, so it's likely that Jagex isn't going to stop at Summoning. It's just too soon for a new skill to be coming though. As for Horsing... Jagex already said that we don't really need anymore land-transportation methods and making a whole skill for that is just a waste. We'll probably see new skills such as Archeology, Sailing, Music, Science, and Artistry later on. Those are some of the J Mods' and players' favorites as you can see in the Suggestion Forum of RSOF.

It's part of the game. They are giving themselves a handicap by only taking one useful item, in an area where many players have many useful items. It's not like they are going to get much out of it - it's just annoying. Kind of like RC Pkers.
  5. My computer can't handle high detail. I'm stuck with low.
  6. Exactly, passion is the coal that will light your musical fire. ;) If I could have anything, I'd want to live on an island.
  7. Replace the word "bots" with "goldfarmers". It doesn't make a difference. They were still ruining the game on a larger scale than some of you might think.

  9. Yeah, as long as you made the money fair, I think it's okay to buy skills. The thing is, almost everyone's definition of "fair" differs.
  10. Don't you mean Bob Rock?

Yeah, even though the baby isn't aware of anything outside of it's rooting reflex, unlike grown people. Eating in a car or another private area isn't going to gross a baby out. Eating next to a woman breastfeeding might gross people out. This is one of those situations where ignorance is bliss (the baby has no sense of what is "gross"). The only one truly being effected would be the mother - not the baby.

Comparing a baby nursing and a grown person eating a meal are two completely different things. That's a horrible comparison if you ask me... I agree. The baby's not old enough to know what's going on. That's why it feeds in front of everybody. It simply just doesn't know. The reason they feed in front of everyone is because it's the rooting reflex - something we're all born with. However, we're not all born with a sense of social etiquette. I guess one could argue that the mother counts too though when it comes to the location of the feeding. It's really just mother VS uncomfortable people.
  14. I quit GWD for a while (no good luck :? ). Now I'm going back to my Thieving goal. 83/99
  15. But it would be her fault for not explaining to me that things wouldn't work between us. She could have lead me on, and I could end up really liking her. The whole thing could be prevented if she did the right thing by breaking up with me instead of just concealing whatever is going on. Honesty is a great virtue in my book. And don't worry, by revenge I don't mean beating her or something. Just something to let her know that she did the wrong thing, to prevent it from happening to future guys.

Well I miss the old avatars we had when we have dialouge with NPC's in our chat box. The new ones look... well, too "pretty". There's not much we can do but to suck it up. I'm sure a lot of people like the new graphics anyways and Jagex didn't work on them for nothing. This has to do only with personal preference, and it's not like it effects your game-play too much.
  17. Why would you do that? She's obviously not very interested in you, so I doubt she would get jealous. I'd find a different method for revenge, but either way, she'd have something coming. :x
  18. You'd be surprised at the amount of immature members there are. Go to GWD and you'll see exactly what I mean. I think Free-players are discriminated against because they don't pay, yet some expect to get a better treatment. My opinion is that beggars can't be choosers. They should be grateful about all the stuff Jagex opened up for them. I don't mind if they get updates, but when they complain that they don't get enough then that is what irks me.
  19. Yes, very useful. It might not be as helpful as the other Combat skills, but I love my Bunyip. \ It's hard to beat 8 free Hp per minute.
  20. I don't see the problem with making a creative name in a fantasy game. Look at the names of the Barrows brothers for example. It just fits into the whole mystical genre better.
  21. How do you get away with this stuff? Anyways, the dumbest thing I ever heard: "You suck." People need to get their heads out of the clouds.
  22. I guess we're on different pages then. What I was saying is the American lifestyle spoils me too much. They have it tough in Africa. They work for their food. I don't. Like I said, I'm grateful to be an American, but not proud. We screwed over a lot of people, just to spoil me, and that is what I'm ashamed of.
  23. I think our reaction is what caused them to change it to be honest.
  24. I'd rather be embarrassed about something I earned than be proud of something I didn't. (Sounds like that Kurt Cobain quote.) But hey that's just me. You can wave your American flag around if you want. I have no problem with that. I just don't think that kind of pride is the right one for me. I'd rather save my arrogance for myself.

But we're on the forums here which are used to discuss philosophy. I know that breastfeeding will remain legal, but I just want to state my opinion on the matter. :P We're talking about things that make others uncomfortable. Anyways, it might be "right" in the face of the law, just like a burglar suing the family of the house that he broke into is "right". Let's take cigarettes into account. They are legal, but is it morally polite to smoke by others who just don't like it? What about picking your nose? Farting? Some things just bother people. When it becomes a large issue (meaning many are bothered by it), I think it should be taken into consideration. PS: I never realized I said using analogies were bad. :-s They exist for a reason.
