I am trying to mock vector (ie vector in raster graphics program) and have gotten bored with it... Doing a bari sax for a shirt I want to make, it's coming along well but is so stinking boring.

Nobody's mentioned Top Gear... It's exported to BBC America but is still awesome. Start watching it before you move (BBC America that is) and you'll pick up the slang and such pretty fast.

Obviously I suck at making t-shirt designs. What I want is a shirt that has a bari sax on it, and says 'you just got bari'd' - much like the 'instrument hero' shirts you've probably seen around. This is what I have atm: [hide=see the bottom of this page] Yes, it's a pile of brushes with a badly rendered bari and some text on top. I want it to be that sort of grungy vector type stuff that goes with the gh font and such, and am failing miserably. Something else would be - how do you cheat and make a 'vector' in GIMP... There's some kind of plug in but I don't remember what it is/how to use it.[/hide] Questions, comments, suggestions would be nice. ie help me please.

Would love to do it, I assume it's for the Times?... I'd end up doing it in a more sketchy style. Let me know if you'd like me to start on it. Questions: When you say 'nothing else as far as the two are wearing' you mean they should be wearing the same things they are in the pic, except with the aforementioned edits, correct? Do you mind color or no-color, as I'd like to take the opportunity to draw in pencil if that's cool with you. I think that's it, unless you've got a specific time frame.

Mainly posting this because I'm at a loss for what to take... I've done Zyrtec/Claratin/Benadryl and combinations of them, and it's not working. And before OT goes 'see a doctor', I am seeing mine tomorrow. What do you do to alleviate your allergies?... What are you allergic to/what are your symptoms and what works for you? Lately mine have been particularly bad, stuffy, bleeding nose a lot, itchy red eyes, and my throat is ridiculously clogged/sore [yes, both] and just all over no fun.

Oh that. I kind of wondered about that. What to do for allergies that don't respond to Zyrtec, Claratin, or Benadryl, or combinations thereof? I have been suffering like no other this past month and am going to do something about it.

I kind of remember all this stuff, but it's funny to think about that at the time I was a wee 13 year old who was lacking in intelligence and legitimate thought... And that I finally joined the forums to report a wrong rock on a mining map. Too much posting for an RP forum with Lent, Zonorhc, and Archi that I don't even use now... :oops: And too many crappy stories and bad art posted in respective forums.

This year they discussed the marbles to the superintendent thing, and some senior tried to start a food fight. <_< Only thing that actually happened was they smooshed the grass on the hill by our football field into '2011' and spray painted it. It was cool but not entertaining. And somebody always parks in the dean of students' space. I feel like we'll do the 3 animals labeled as if there're 4 thing. Or block the doors with hay, we're pretty hick like that.

Same, only mine's American Government. Don't have to worry about failing it either though. Spent the whole day rocking in my engineering teacher's classroom, finished the crazy inventory, and had some fun. Apparently my only weakness is that I don't like people. No wai... :P But apparently I have to find worth in stupid people and not treat them condescendingly, then they will do as I ask.

I accomplished things today! Namely cleaning out the engineering room and starting an inventory of all the crap we have... And I'm writing the follow-up stuff for a grant we got. Oh joy.

I've thoroughly enjoyed reading the historical articles. In addition, the left-clicking article was pretty interesting, a random and unique article [those are my favorites]. Of course RS is pro-melee. Article was still good.

I think it's dumb too, although I don't fall under it because I turned 17 a few months before they passed that crap... I thought if you broke curfew you couldn't get a license until you turned 18.

If you can get a hold of a book on dog/wolf anatomy, that may help you a lot in terms of attaching muscles and drawing legs specifically. I have a book on dragons that has a few really useful diagrams with muscles and bones and such.
