Today...
My blood sugar is low again... I should have noticed it was 84 at lunch and then I ate stuff and bolused for it anyway... Tomorrow having a birthday party for me with my grandma and such... (my birthday is on Wednesday) Probably getting like $150, going to go buy myself a bass then. I looked at some this morning at the guitar store, decided the one I wanted was a good choice; would have bought it but it was $80 more there than online.

Is there an app for that?
Windows 7. Yeah actual sticky notes would work fine, I just haven't got any handy... :P

Does anybody actually play hockey, specifically goalie? I'm looking for ideas for places to get relatively cheap [goalie] equipment, besides craigslist?

Is there an app for that?
I would like to find a desktop widget sort of thing that would enable a user (including a restricted/limited user) to send notes/messages to another user on the same computer (a shared family computer with different logins for different people). What I'm thinking of is like the Win7 Sticky Notes, only where you could add them on other users' desktops, to say, notify them [ie probably parents] that you made arrangements for whatever or need them to buy you whatever etc, perhaps color code the stickys so each color is a different persons. So does such a thing exist, and if so where can I get it? If not, how hard do you think it would be to create?

Tip.It Times - 13th February 2011
I love randoms (at least most of them) and I wish Jagex would combat botting with more randoms; it seems like the best and least annoying way. Good articles this week! :D

I think Stormrage hit it spot-on, I voted no because I don't buy that anything good will come of this. To be honest, I haven't logged in since before the update, but I can't imagine it's all that great. There is one good reason for free trade returning though, and that's no trade limits. TET can now give out cash rewards and hopefully up our attendance a bit, plus we can have drop parties that are legit. Besides that there's nothing good though, and I am still super against this. Into the Wild doesn't have much to do with me as I don't PK but it was a great perspective on the issue. I thought Forsaken's fictional was pretty interesting, hopefully he'll do another.. I think the Chaos Elemental would be spectacular.

What book are you currently reading?
Finished Jane Eyre last night, going to start Pathfinder by Orson Scott Card maybe later today (snowday yay!). Dunno anything of what it's about, but it's by Orson Scott Card, so it has to be good.

Tip.It Times - 30th January 2011
Someone should do a full study of what goes on in Runescape's economy. Why junk trading prevails for now, and how having both the GE and free trade might work when it returns. I really liked both articles this week, and thought we got to some interesting topics.

Today...
I got an anti-depressant as life has been sucking for me lately, and I think it's working, I feel a lot better in general. Report card today... My GPA went up from 3.87 to 3.91 which puts me at 10th in class rank now (from 13th) so that was nice, and I didn't do horribly in any of my classes. Except my online class still isn't graded...

The Style Thread
I had a Jansport one that lasted me like 5 years before one of the zippers ripped apart; I probably could have gotten a replacement from them. They're waterproof too. I like messenger bags and have a nice SwissGear one, they're like $30 and are pretty good quality, plus they're made by the people who make the knives... They make backpacks too.

Today...
So mad, just about everybody else around here has had at least one snowday, we haven't had any, not even a delay. Thought today might be one, because it was windy and snowing a lot last night, but it stopped. Had a half day because of exams, I feel pretty decent about my calc exam, I think I got a solid B- (B if he curves it :P). All the rest of my exams were easy (computer repair, engineering, literature terms). I also took my test out exam for Chem 1, I think I got maybe 15 of 100 questions wrong, which is an 85, which is passing, which means I probably won't have to take the class. Now I'm wasting time on here. I might go draw something because I haven't done that in a while.

ATTENTION GALLERY USERS
I've been lurking the I don't know... Past four months, 'cause I haven't done anything remotely legitimate in terms of art and don't like photographs, which seem to be all that's been posted lately. I feel like more loose/specific guidelines on what to post would be good, because some people are afraid to post 'odd' things like minis and other random stuff which may or may not be considered art... I know loose/specific is weird, but I mean to say that we should say that pretty much anything is legit, including photos, digital, traditional, sculpture, minis, pixels, blah, etc.

Wings signed Evgeni Nabokov to a one year contract. Looking forward to seeing him play, I don't know how good he is but looking at google images it looks like he's all over and doing crazy butterfly stuff.

Today...
We should have had a snow day today. We had like a foot of snow on the roads at 6:00. But no, they have to go all 'we had too many kids on the buses already' I WONDER WHY! Because you can't make a simple decision to close school after 3/4 of the schools in the county are closed, and everybody except one neighboring school is closed. Oi vey. Exams this week, comp repair tomorrow, then AP lit, engineering on Thurs, and calc on Fri... Plus my test-out exam in Chem on Fri also. I am going to die because I can't remember any calc at all. And I'm wasting time here doing this. :P The doctor thinks I'm depressed or something. Something's definitely up, so I'm going to the other doctor on Monday or Tuesday... I don't remember which. yayyyyy.

Graphics tablet
That's only $57. I could totally get one... Has anybody actually used this tablet/how easy are they to get used to?

What book are you currently reading?
Jane Eyre, Artemis Fowl: The Atlantis Complex, and Gaming Geeks and Fantasy Freaks (Ethan Gilsdorf) The geek book is pretty interesting, Artemis Fowl is good so far, and Jane Eyre isn't that great...

The Obligatory Ice Hockey Thread
His knee is bruised, the part of the pad that's supposed to cover part of his knee slipped off and the puck hit it pretty full force... He might be playing tonight, not sure.

Dyes!
I know, I always have that problem with my feet, being F2P [not being able to change] and limited to only leather boots and random crappy holiday reward boots... Maybe I'll make a list of things that could be dyed in F2P. I think having rune dyable would be nice, and probably all the rune weapons?
-
Dyes!
I've always wanted this, and wondered why you couldn't just use a dye on random stuff (besides capes). I think things that are fairly non-stat boosting (regular vambs, gloves, boots, wizard hats, aprons, etc) ought to be dye-able as well. EDIT: What F2P armors are 'unique' though? Would we be able to take advantage of this?

The Obligatory Ice Hockey Thread
Watching Blues at Wings right now... Our goaltender situation is kind of funny right now. Osgood has a hernia, he's out for like 6 weeks. Howard gets a bruised knee, he's in and out. So McDonald is playing, and McCollum is backing him up, and in Houston the Griffins are playing Pearce who's being backed up by a guy they signed this morning to a professional tryout... Dov Grumet-Morris. But Wings are winning so I won't complain, McDonald's having a decent day, making some good saves... I know the feeling of letting in the first couple goals, especially when you couldn't really do anything about it; it sucks.

What are you listening to right now!?
Nur ein Wort - Wir Sind Helden Reminds me I need to print out a crapload of German stuff for German class...
