  1. I didn't read any of the actual posts after the OP so I apologize. * Wouldn't you think it would be logical that if you took a random sample of 100 right handed people and 100 left handed people that more of the left handed people would be good artists? No as more people are right handed hence more probability that you can take a sample of any 100 and be more likely they're good artists unless it is statistically proven that lefties are better artists in general than righties. * Would that mean that good artists that are right handed would be/have a high intelligence level than good artists that are left handed? Imo, yes, as right side is left brained. I know a lot of smart right handed people, who are generally smart, and art is sort of secondary (although they're still good at it). In my experience, lefties (I know at least two very well) are more free thinking and generally more creative than righties; they're still smart but intelligence and use of it is secondary to the creativity. I am right handed to slightly ambidextrous (I use a left handed hockey stick, bat, golf club, etc.). I am pretty intelligent (32 on ACT) and am very structured/ARCF/type A personality. However I kind of go against the grain in my area by being an agnostic in a primarily Christian area, but lean towards the 'right' side in my area in political beliefs (I consider myself a libertarian, and my area is mainly conservative republican).
  2. I thought the first article did a great job of looking at a common idea/thing in RS (maxing out) and applying an interesting technical view of the possible thought process behind it; now I want Jagex to change all those variables to longs. The second one gave an interesting perspective again, and also made me think some.

I finished my 14 page research paper on mathematics in disease and medicine. It's due friday along with another paper I have yet to finish.
  4. Apply! It's great fun and you can write your heart out... Or ruin my brain with grammar errors. Your choice, only if you apply though.

All this talk about fillings makes me smile... Only have one, and I got it redone not too long ago, although because of its odd location (outside of my last molar) he had to redo it twice... Novocaine always works for me though, although the laughing gas they give you doesn't do anything to me. But when I went to the dentist last, so did my mom and brother; brother had 3 new cavities, and mom had to have 4 redone, so I was happy. There was something relevant I was going to post, but I don't remember it. Being able to feel only half of your tongue is the weirdest thing ever. Edit: I remember. My car is screwed up, either the rotors are shot or the bearings or something's up with the brakes; it makes a horrid scraping noise whenever I brake.
  6. Loved the fictional. Mask needs to get on the EP.
  7. Loud music, sleep, mindless video games, or guitar hero, something that requires me to mindlessly concentrate.

I got sunburned bad today. Any advice on making the pain less/burn go away fast? I slathered on a bunch of aloe vera already. Now I lack initiative to work on my research paper on math in disease and medicine. I'm writing about epidemiology and patient dosage calculations... thrilling. And I've been listening to the same 8 Green Day songs for the past hour....
  9. I'mma ridin' the train... THE CRAZY TRAIN! as if I needed this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aOg_qF9GQUM&feature=related
  10. I use references when I'm drawing something that doesn't exist solely in my head, and sketch out what I'm going to do, or think fully about it before I start. Then I grab a pencil and start sketching for real, and about halfway through I make a decision about what I'm going to do with it; if I'm going to ink it, use colored pencils, regular pencils, or maybe markers.
  11. Credit would be appreciated. The helmet text will be backwards (unless you can find the helmet facing right elsewhere) but here it is:
  12. Avvy: Sig: I really don't know about the sig... It looks off imo, if you have any ideas let me know.
  13. I absolutely <3 the primal 2h. I will build it as soon as I'm finished with my lego pirate papercraft (which won't be for a while :P) How big is it irl? It looks like 10cm or so, (or rather, how many pages does it take up?). Have to ration my cardstock accordingly.
  14. :P Gimme until Friday, you'll have something then.
  15. I know it's nowhere near perfect shading, but I really like the style. c/c is good.
  16. I quite liked the first article, but disagreed with Crocefisso about Dungeoneering; I love it and it's one of the only reasons I play the game now.
  17. I'ma give it a shot. Got it doneish, just on the other computer.

Third day in a row I've actually posted on this thread... Got random free mints from the SADD table at lunch today and I'm trying to eat all of them so I can use the nifty container for something else. I'm supposed to be working on my math reasoning paper but I'm not. Prom is tomorrow, I'm leaving halfway through school to go decorate... And no AP test tomorrow, which is nice. I think that's all that is interesting that has occurred today.
  19. Generally I listen to music that I know I like and turn it up kind of loud. I especially do this when I'm driving home from school but feel craptastic; turn up the bass and volume and it's just mindless pointlessness that makes me happy, I guess. Otherwise I go play guitar hero for like an hour and it gets all the meh ness out of my system. Sleep is always good too. I am actually on an anti-depressant, and I think if you think you might be better off with one, go talk to your doctor about it and see how they feel about it; you can always try it and then if it doesn't work, try something else. [there's no reason to feel crappy if you don't have to is my philosophy.]

Yeh he told me he was wrong and it was the right answer. There was another one that he marked wrong that wasn't too.... Only 2 AP tests to go now, and Calc was way easier than I thought it was going to be, so that was nice. Pretty awesome day.

My AP Bio teacher marked one of the questions on my exam wrong and I can't figure out why: Consider a field plot containing 200kg of plant material. Approximately how many kg of carnivore production can be supported? Following the 10% rule, it should be 2. I picked that and he marked it wrong... Is there something I'm missing? AP AB Calculus test tomorrow morning too. It's all downhill from here... Something like a month left of school?
  22. Both articles met my perspective and were relevant to the way I play today. Nice job.
  23. It was a guitar one with giant amps, wasn't it?
  24. I apologize for the semiblurriness of the pictures, I can't be bothered to scan them in, and the pictures I took of them... Didn't turn out amazing. Thoughts, C/c appreciated. Suggestions for other scenes/people to 'minifigize' would be awesome too. Sci-Fi: Fantasy: Action Sports/Goalie: Steampunk: Street Smart/Punk:
  25. Epic, as always, although I do like the new waterfall/knight one better; I think that style is cooler overall because of the lack of black defining lines. I have a request... Will you make me one? :ohnoes: Pretty please? I need to make a contribution to the Gallery now...
