  1. in that order: The spirits of slain warriors during the god wars; their regret and hatred for their enemies forces them to roam the wilderness for all eternity, slaying all who cross their path. Because they are the spirits of slain warriors during the god wars; their regret and hatred for their enemies forces them to roam the wilderness for all eternity, slaying all who cross their path. Without such power they could not do as such. They drop things that the warriors of Zamorak would have dropped before the counsel decided to intervene with the help of master Guthix because they are the spirits of slain warriors during the god wars; their regret and hatred for their enemies forces them to roam the wilderness for all eternity, slaying all who cross their path. Answer your question? :
  2. IF you can get 52 summoning for terrorbirds, that will REALLY increase gp per hour. I suggest to train range on the green dragons and move up to blue drags at around lvl 65-70. Blue dhides are 2k like the bones : . Kill 100 dragons and there's 400k right there plus 45k ranged exp
  3. Get 53 smithing using iron bars and make all of those bars into mithril bolts. Feather them and enchant emerald tips on them. Sell for 200 gp ea. That would be 500k total there.

I can't wait when everyone who HASN'T read the news posts realises that the pvp worlds will NOT be like the wild. 1. it will give drops, but not what the player is wearing; it will be like killing a monster: you get a random drop. 2. there will be pking ANYWHERE with lvls in cities similar to bh if I'm not mistaken (though this may change) 3. I hope that they fix the "running" tactic of the cln wars before pvp worlds. They run from people even though they have no food and they're poisoned and the only way to heal is to die....yeah...that's REALLY smart to run. Especially since they don't lose/gain anything for kills except "You pwnt noobster5236" in the chat box. If thy don't fix this before pvp worlds, there will be a lot of rants of people going into safe-spots (trust me, there WILL be some sort of safe-respawn site.) I'll stick to the rp worlds, thank you very much \
  5. for coolness sake. Anyways you can do gnomestronghold, i know that u can hide behind rocks when the demon comes, not sure about setting up a canon in there though.... But there's no point in 10 hp in pvp and monster will eventually become tougher so that they can be smarter. So even if it's for coolness sake, no one thinks you're cool if you're dead #-o
  6. That doesn't tell us much. Boss hunting: use Bandos or Saradomin Pvp: Armadyl or possibly Zamorak while maging/ranging normal Pve: Saradomin Fist of Guthix ;) :Zamorak But for right now, I suggest that you hold onto your cash. If the sigils from the new quest really are tradeable and not just a bug on the ge, EVERYTHING high lvl will drop even by a little bit. The shield is FREE as reward. Ruby bolts will go up, and prayer pots will go up. The sigils per ge are 77mill each. That's almost as much as Ags and Sgs if I'm not mistaken :o
  7. you remember how it was in the first quest, make everything OPPOSITE in the two worlds? You need to collapse the cave in the real world, that will allow you to enter it in the spirit world.
  8. In that context: Quite: an adverb that is a synonym to "very" Quit: a verb which means to cease or stop (I like spelling and grammar; get over it :P ) This is not opinionated. The exp per hour is fact; a scimitar gives more exp than a longsword. Special attacks can be up for debate. Preference is opinionated. I know that the d long is inferior to the scimitar in terms of stats and dps, but I still use it because I just happen to like the longsword. Just because I like it does not counteract the fact that a scimitar has higher dps. Now, we can get into how much better the longsword is than the scimitar in stab attacks, but then that would be going off-topic.
  9. That's almost like Alterac Valley from WoW  . Literally, you could play at 8 am, log off for school, and rejoin the same battle 7 hours later. I would so do that war!! But since it's basically just free for all without the free for all (infinite battle basically) not many clans would do this. There might be a clan chat channel just for this purpose. There's probably a team-cape and everything.
  10. fenrir321 replied to Bananamatic's topic in Rants
Except that people training their mage without properly playing in FoG is part of my problem... so yeah, go find someone else, I'll practice running. So you're putting effort into a effortless game? Right on man, you're cool. There is a point when people actually WANT to have fun believe it or not. Standing in the center being splashed with mana water is NOT fun. IT'S BORING. And I'd rather EARN my place on the hiscores than just have be handed over to me.
  11. Clan wars free for all has finally cured my being un-apathetic : People call me noob for protect from melee when they use their ags spec or dds spec. Like I care. At the end of the battle (most of the time) I'm still alive  . People who run away from the fight are ridiculously noobish. The only way to heal would be to bring food or to die. There's no way to heal in the southern end without bringing food. Then again, I don't have to waste protect from prayers and I can just dds spec them while they run (which is WAY more fun than just trading attacks back and forth ;) ). The only "rule" I abide by is to not eat during a fight. This has absolutely nothing to do with the "courtesy" of the circumstances. If you're going to die anyway no matter what you do, then it would be better to let yourself die than waste 6 monkfish, correct? Of course, if I'm fully potted and about to die, I'll safe about 3 or 5 times then just die. The only rule that their should be in this place is "You may not reenter the southern boundary after exiting it for three minutes in the white portal. In the red portal the restriction is reduced to 1 minute. This should not impede those wanting to slaughter the unprepared or egotistical sort!" A "good" battle lasts for about 2-3 minutes. If it's less than 1 minute, then the opponent is obviously too strong for you, and you would have died anyway if you did run. As for picking on the noobs too bad, I came to kill, not to be polite  . And if I kill a noob, that's 1 less noob (if only temporarily) who wants to pj me when I'm close to dying.
  12. Now that you've given us examples on how many times you've died from ags spec jumping, give us examples when you HAVEN'T. If you don't have any, here's some: An ags spec hits me about 60% of them time. Of that 60% only 20% kill me or hit me +40. That is a 12% chance of what you are describing to us at least to me. If you don't like jumping, then pray so the damaged is reduced and get your defense up.
  13. fenrir321 replied to Tim's topic in Rants
Not true. I used a d bow spec on someone using ranged prayer I hit 3-3, not joking. Protect prayer reduce damage by 40%.
  14. I would like to see you do the same. Thing is, no one will ever know exactly what caused it, as there are too many variables involved, including things that Runescape lacks - namely taxes, incomes, corporations, etc. Actually, that is relatively simple to layout the reasons why: 1)high debt (over-credit card usage) 2)fear 3)post war "highs" in that order: 1)For every 1$ of debt that someone owes, they have effectively put in 1$ into the system. Let's say that I owe 5,000$ and there is 10,000$ in the system. Inflation will count for my debt even though it technically does not exist. 2)Fear is a humongous factor in the market. If everyone is to scared to buy an item for fear of losing money (or to bank money in the Great Depression's case), then there is little if no demand which makes prices plummet. A lot of people use circular logic. In doing so they put the price drop in an endless cycle. "Hey, I was right to be scared! The prices fell!!" 3)After WWI many people got "high" by having some sense of "Celebration" of victory. They bought with credit as well. The prices went up because of higher demand. More production (higher supply) started to meet the demand. However, the demand fell, but there was still more supply than demand. Because the corporates had bought the supplies and stocks with credit (this was a big trend at the time), they tried to sell the stocks to make a profit. Ironically, those who bought the stocks ALSO bought the stocks on credit when they had run out of money. This points back to my first point where so much debt caused an enormous amount of inflation. That basically sums it up, but there are probably a few more factors. I'm pretty sure than I outlined the most active factors though. :
  15. Umm, that's what the economy is all about basically... For every $500 that you spend, somewhere, some one/people is/are making $500. Having a monopoly over things such as food, water, energy, GASOLINE, etc is not right if you over price things. At this point even if people would rather not spend the money are forced to spend it in order to survive. The economy is BASED on people losing and gaining. Without that aspect the economy would be stagnant. A stagnant economy means that it is basically impossible to sell/buy items, which is even worse than a bad economy.
  16. Well, the clan I was part of (until I got destroyed by the activity sweep monster  ), the NAA, had a fair amount of swearing. I don't mind it at all, really, unless of course it's flaming other people. I don't know why exactly they allowed swearing (probably because the vast majority of them said that they were at least 18 years old. And trust me they acted like it too  ). Here are two prime examples of why I feel swearing in non-formal social situations is acceptable: [hide=examples]Guy on game: "Damn it! I died!" Guy to another guy: "Your mom is idiot who can't afford to send you to public school."[/hide] Now, in example one I used a swear word. In example two I used no swear words. Which is more offensive? That's my point. It's not the words that matter but the meaning that the words convey. Off my tangent: Yes, my clan did swear, but they did not even try to go around the censor (which is good) and only did so in the cc. They never flamed anyone, just talked "tough". FYI guys, girls really don't care if you talk tough; they just want you to act GAR :
  17. Good news: Everything you said was 100% true, and I congratulate you for being skilled in economics and market savvy  Bad news: Everything you said is something I already knew ;) Ugly news: I'm not so much angry at the price manipulators (hurray for smart people \ ); it's more of a frustration of loss of control, like when you are creaming someone in a game, and all of a sudden they turn the tables on you and beat you. What REALLY gets me angry is when noobs all sell for the lowest price and then yell on the forums "the prices are bad; change them!!!" THAT'S what annoys me -.- OT news: The runescape economy is exactly the same as the stock market except that the stock market doesn't have price ceilings that are +/-5% (or maybe I'm wrong on that one). If these people can't predict the market, I bet they'll phale at lyfe.
  18. if speed is more important u must use a dagger huh Some people with 90+ range will use iron knives against black dragons purely because of speed ;)
  19. you still get some tokens if you win at least 1 altar. Meh, ah well, can't really do anything about it, like those damn noobs at cwars who sabotage their own team for fun -.-
  20. Unlike my accuracy formula, which is based off of good guesses and how statistics work, I have the ACTUAL formula for max hit. The baxe will hit +2.5 more than the hammer, trust me. If you want the formula in its entirety, then pm me on the forums, and I'll give it to you. The hammer and the baxe have the exact same speed. If you don't believe me, look under "weapon types" in the RSOM. I'll have to admit that popularity doesn't necessarily mean that the weapon is superior (Tztok-xil-ak + berserker necklace against low defense monsters will yield more exp per hour than a dragon scimitar.) But popularity is a good indicator. And remember, the baxe is better because it has two weapon attacks. Yes, even if the hammer is better in attacking those people with platemail, what about ahrims, or dragonhide, or chainmail? All of their strong points are against crush attacks. If you ask me, I'd rather pay 45k for the battle axe, than paying 45k for a hammer and another 25k for a longsword/scimmy for the slash and crush attacks.
  21. Spend your money on 92 firemaking using maple logs. From 70-92 is 1.4 mill atm. I think it's worth it because then you can spend some of your cash on logs for beacons and then get teh adze. Adze = dragon axe and rune pickaxe in one. Since you can lvl up prayer in pc, I'd highly advise against it. Buying raw food could work since the cooked ones are going up. Fletching is useless past 90, so for practicality, go for cooking or firemaking for teh adze.

If it had been anything else besides a bandos/armadyl godsword or even saradomin or zamorak, then the protect from melee would have been noobish. It effectively reduces the person's max hit to 60% of their normal max hit. So if they hit a 60 normally, then it changes to a manageable 36. If their max hit is 30, then i becomes 18. Only use protect from melee/range if you're in mage armor or being piled or being attack by a gs ;) . And I guarantee you that that noob had full +15% prayer or chivalry
  23. frankly slash atks have less +to hit and so less accurate, unless its a a 2h which has the lowest speed, and with the defence difference its EVEN LESS! They hit much faster so the small difference is made up for several times over. It's better to hit three times with a 40% chance to hit each time than it is to hit twice with a 50% chance to hit each time. its more like 3 time with 40 percent against 2 time with 70 If you want to get technical, then here's an adequate percentage base: for the sake of the argument, let's say that you multiply the atk lvl by the atk bonus and then divide that value by the def lvl and defense bonus of the target. At lvl 100 attack the warhammer, longsword, and scimitar have 5300 crush, 4700 slash, and 4500 slash attack value respectively. For a full set of rune armor, this would be the values: 20,900 slash and 19,200 crush. hammer: 27.60% hit sword: 22.48% scimitar: 21.53% But it doesn't end there. I'm pretty sure that the speed works like this: For every 6 scimitar attacks, there are 4 hammer and 5 longsword attacks. now: hammer: 27.47% to miss all 4 times (.7240^4) sword: 27.99% to miss all 5 times (.7752^5) scimitar: 23.35% to miss all 6 times. (.7847^6) As you can see, even though rune armor is weak against crush attacks, the scimitar beats out the longsword and the hammer by far. The difference between the strength bonuses of the hammer and scimitar is 4. That's not enough to affect your max hit unless you're on the border. And if that's the case, then the person should upgrade their armor and/or train str. I hope these numbers have enlightened you ;) edit: I'll even add the hit chance for baxes: 4800 slash and 4300 crush attack value 22.96% to hit with slash; 22.39% to hit with crush 35.22% (.7704^4) slash 36.28% (.7761^4) crush Now, the difference in str between the baxe and the hammer is 16. That can raise your max hit by 2.5 (4 more str will bring it up to 3). Rs players have always been "fascinated" by max hit. So, they'll trade 8% accuracy for +3 damage  . Good for finishing moves, bad for pve or long term attacks. Same thing with 2hs in bh. They're only good for finishing blows.

Alright, I am currently 20k mining exp from 70 mining. But this is my dilemma: I have just mined 384 mithril bars' worth of coal. I will have to mine more or less 400 more coal to get 70 mining. You're probably wondering, "Why is that a problem? Just sell the coal for 90k!" Well, my policy is to never sell any raw materials I get (logs, ores, raw fish, etc.) This because to lvl up the companion skill (fletching/firemaking, smithing, cooking) I would either have to buy the materials again (giving me 0 net gain) or cut, mine, fish, whatever the same materials! I hate redundancy, so don't tell me to sell the stuff ;) So, these are my two choices for 70 mining: 1)Mine 400 coal and mine 66 adamant for later use (preferably for making ruby/diamond bolts) 2)Mine the gem rocks in shilo for bolt tips. Why? Well, 384 x 10 bolts per bar = 3840 mithril bolts! 3840 / 12 emerald bolt tips per emerald = I need 320 emeralds! Power mining iron is a waste of ores, so don't tell me to do that either -.- . So in essence, should I: 1)go the fast way and buy the emeralds on the exchange 2)go the slower way but get at part of the emeralds for free while also getting other gems In both circumstances I will be selling 2.5k enchanted emerald bolts. So, help me out
  25. It exists alright, it just sucks atm. Some one said that customer support is either run by monkeys or by bots, can't remember which
