That spell is useless. Sure its a few gp cheaper, but you need 2 astral runes and 1 nature rune for each and every plank. If you bought the runes it'd be more expensive than just going to the sawmill. And crafting the runes to save a minuscule amount on the planks is a waste of time. You could craft 3k nats in the time it took to craft 2k astrals and 1k nats, then sell the nats and pay for the planks the normal way. You'd have money left over. Craft the runes? It's not hard to mine 3k ess and craft 2k astrals and 1k nats :roll: . And it gives good mage exp, so that should also pay for spending time on the runecrafting.

That's right!!! But before I tell you how we need a cure for the void knight disease more than a cure for the cold, I'll you about void knight armor in general. Void Knight Armor comprises of the top, bottom, gloves, and a helmet of relevant attack style Except for the gloves, the defense are exactly same the across the board (2 difference in magic in gloves) and no piece gives statistical bonuses, but doesn't give any negatives either. Therefore, it is the most versatile of all armors since it has a helm for either point of the combat triangle. People keep telling me I'm wrong because Range void is the best ranged armor for exp/safe spotting/low lvl monster tasks . That's not what I'm talking about . I'm talking about pvp in bh, the pits, clan wars ,adn the duel arena where a mere -10 defense can get you 1 hit koed. General: the defenses are pathetic when compared to the other armor (with the exception of magic, which is equal to blk dragonhide armor.) There are other armors for defense than vastly exceed the void knight armor. melee: the maximum hit of normal equipment with salve (e), sup str, piety and AGS spec is 83 Using void melee, your max hit is 80. There is an obvious dip in damage for selecting, what, +10%? I'm not sacrificing 250 defense just for +10% accuracy... magic: possibly the most useful of the three. It gives a +30% in magic accuracy (I believe it outperforms ahrim's in this department). But because of the defense, it is still not a viable option when compared to Ahrims. range: +10% ranged accuracy and damage. Except for high damage special attacks, like dark bow spec and rune bolts (and for anti mage with the seercull spec), there is no point in using this armor over blk dragonhide. Hitting an 80 + 10% is one thing, but hitting a 12 + 10% is another...And the accuracy only barely makes up for the massive drop in ranged attack. And since blk dhdie is easy to obtain and gives much better ranged and melee defenses, it is better for pvp (unless you're using ice barrage, but then they could range too...) The void knight mace is possibly the most useful staff of all. With 80 magic, you can hit 30, lower the target's defense by 5%, hold them for 15 seconds, and lower their att, str, and def by a further 10%. And Claws of Guthix is cheaper than ice barrage. The mace is also slightly stronger than a rune mace, so good for lower lvls in melee. My rant really isn't about pointing out the weaknesses of the armor. My point is that why the hell do so many people use it SOOOO much when the weaknesses are almost blatantly obvious?! I understand just funning in the duel arena, but in the 9 days at pc I spent for prayer lvls, I met 12, TWELVE, people getting full RANGED void...AGAIN. Why? Because they had used it in bounty hunter. Why risk something that takes literally hours (~8.9 hours with an average of 2.5 mins per veteran game.) to get when you could get something that is almost as good (in the case of dbow specing with blk dhide) or something that is better (ahrims)? Another thing that seems odd is how people will sometimes just wear pieces of the armor expecting to gether the bonuses :roll: . Now, almost everyone has a fletching/cooking cape it seems. I guess since so many people have void armor, it kind of devalues it for me :cry: . True, any 99 skill is an achievement, but there are SOOOOOO many people with a cooking and/or fletching cape that it's almost sad. Some people when they see those capes will think (they just want to be like everyone else). That's pretty much how I felt when I went into pc early in July this year and said "WTF?!?!? WHY DO SO MANY PEOPLE HAVE VOID?!?!?!?" I got void 6 days after the pc updates LAST July...I feel pathetic cause now I'm worried that everyone will cll me a void noob for "being like everyone else" when really EVERY DAMN PERSON IS BEING LIKE ME!!!!! *sigh* I need some melancholic time

OK how is it a form of RWT!? Sure, it allows for unbalanced trade, but suggesting that all unbalanced trades invoke RWT is tantamount to confusing cause and effect. Would Bounty Hunter, which can be seen as another method of swapping disproportionate amounts of wealth, be considered RWT too? Yeah, maybe some people abuse it to RWT, but it's totally wrong to declare that the two are always linked. In that regard it's no different with junk trading - whether it's unethical is debatable, maybe, but it is NOT RWT. Good point, it's not RWT in essence, but it allows RWT to happen (like trading before the updates). Junking is unethical because it really is a form of price manipulation (which is why Jagex has not adjusted GE prices to that of the street price). And if Jagex did adjust the prices, the junking wouldn't stop; people would try to drive the prices up again and something that was previously 1.4 m (zammy book pages) would be 3 m. However, there is a difference between junking and item exchanging. Cooked lobsters and cash for raw lobsters is not the same thing as junking. Trading unstrung bows, bs, and cash for strung bows is not junking. Trading 15k magic longs and 500k cash for a top hat is junk trading. Exactly. It completely disgusts me when my lvl 70 friend said his max with a gs was 36...it's an insult to the godswords. Some people who can't hit high really shouldn't be borrowing the item. It just insults the godsword's strength. I can hit a freaking 41 with my whip, and he can only hit a 36?!?!? -.- -.- Solution: make item requirements go up. Godsword is already slightly overpowered since it can be wielded at lvl 75 attack...should be lvl 95 atack...

There are pretty much two things that would make me quit: 1) Literally nothing new for me to do or anything that was fun 2) Rl responsibilities are too often for me to play I have goals, so neither of these reasons should happen anytime soon. I might quit around the time Jagex focuses more on mechscape, but that's only if they don't come up any more updates except fixing bugs and whatnot.

Actually, the only way to make this game completely RWT free is to stop all player to player interaction, from trading, to staking, to lending. And even then, when the game would become single player basically, people would just buy "time" or accounts. It's basically impossible to stop RWT. But as long as it is pretty much floundering like a fish out of water, it holds pretty much no threat. The ONLY way to get rid of cheating COMPLETELY is to have people who are fair, honest, hard working, and selfless. Basically, everything that the RWt companies DON'T stand for. Someone needs to break out a Death Note on this world :o \

You've basically said that because you and your friends are casual gamers, that it's ok to RWT? That's is one of the biggest pieces of [cabbage] I've heard. I remember when I only had 50k. I never complained. I never bought money. Why? Because I was too busy doing...something like...TRAINING SKILLS!!! If you want to play casually and don't care about rules, go play a private server and not the real thing :roll: And RWT DOES affect you. More bots = less places to train, lower prices for raw materials, and devaluing effort put into your account. It affects all of us.

Probably that a lot of players in the pool are American. That's been my theory for a long time; Fist of Guthix is the old wildy but forcing you to use strategy in escaping. It would have been interesting if jagex had made the entire wildy FoG, given the Hunter infinite run energy and taken away the hunted's energy restoration.
