Brilliant game. Love all of the series actually. As for your sound problem, because the sound on Doom is pretty primative, and I take you're running on Windows XP, I'd say your PC just doesn't accommodate for it anymore. There should be a patch or instructions somewhere to download on the web though, the game has a massive fanbase.

I think gameplay is far more essential than graphics for a game. It could leave a lot to be desired, but still be very fun to play with good gameplay (Olympic Soccer, old FF series, Chrono Trigger, all come to mind). Conversely, a graphics engine could maximise the consoles full potential, but without any decent gameplay, all it would make the game is look really crap. Take note, Ps3.

Well, the other day I got stopped by the terrorist people at London Blackfriars station. I just laughed at the fact I was stopped, at which point the officers said: "I'm sorry for this, bit of a waste of time after all". But hey, they gotta do what they gotta do. At least, that's what I told them. Was quite fun really, and they gave me a little pink receipt at the end of that. So be warned! Bubsa could be a terrorist! :

I give blood, a big reason why is that other people who have done so have saved my life before, so I feel it's only right to help them back. Plus, I'm blood type B negative, which is quite rare apparently. I really hate the sight of the needle drawing blood, but it's easy, just look away or shut your eyes. I also find by not watching the needle get in I don't get as nervous and it doesn't hurt as much.

Might be worth going to a doc and seeing if you're a clinic insomniac. Saying that, when I went and was diagnosed, doctor couldn't do anything for me >.< I often find that when I'm awake during those times, I think at my clearest. Bear that in mind.

Right now, I'd slag off the media and America and such, but to be perfectly honest, I don't think it's avoidable.
