  1. They lack press support. The Press spends all the time in the world complaining about Greenhouse Gases. While I was eating breakfast this morning, I happened to catch a press conference of President Bush explaining the desperate need for support for green fuels. Not only would this "save the ozone" and lower fuel prices, the United States stands a lot to gain monetarily by releasing it's need for oil and being the leading producer of surplus corn, grain, and other sources of E82. When it came time for questions, however: President Bush, how do you plan to act when Congress threatens to cut off funding for the war? President Bush, do you hate homosexuals? <-- Answer to this one was very mature, even thought the question was random. President Bush, who do you think will win the next election? <-- What the HECK! And CNN's ticker was displaying crap about the Anna Nicole thing. I mean, does the media not realize that they are seriously gimping support for green fuels because America listens to it's media? By shunting reports on green fuels in favor of more "newsworthy" AKA profitable material, they are hurting America. The media claims that our Administration is oil hungry, but when the Administration is trying to cut off our ties to oil, nobody cares. Why? It's not as important as Anna Nicole Smith.
  2. Actually, we know he was Resurrected on Easter. Why? He came to Jerusalem on Palm Sunday for Passover (as in yesterday). He had a Seder meal on Thursday (the Passover and Last Supper). He was arrested that night, was tried and executed on Friday, and rose 3 days later. Since Passover is an established holiday, we can accurately say that Easter is the correct day.

I can safely say you used it in a manner demeaning or offensive to Christians. That's why.

I like how an image of Jesus on a cross is censored when it's put into a joking context, but it's cool to hang them all over everything in sight as long as you're not having a good time. Yay! It was removed for the same reason the Danish cartoon of Muhammad is banned on this forum. It's tasteless and violates rules. There's a difference between having a religious symbol, and making fun of it.
  5. Too bad the jewelry is going in the hands slot. Would have been nice if they had introduced a completely new item slot for bracelets.

The scary thing is, I used to think the forums were rather ungodly... I'm pretty sure they still are for the most part. Because only the agnostics or atheists are making such flames. The internet has always been hostile towards religion in general.
  7. Dude, tell me to my face that a chicken costume and a rubber chicken will not be my new PKing gear. Because you KNOW it is :).
  8. Oh darnet, I wish I had seen this sooner. I would have loved to come. Too bad I will be in a car for the Good Friday service and out of access on Sunday. Sounds really interesting. Maybe a mock-Seder meal on Thursday evening?
  9. Wells, it's been fun going DKing with you. Sorry to see an old fart go. Have fun in your pursuits! I might as well enter this little raffle: RSN: Barihawk This accounts been on since 2004, and I've played since 2003.
  10. They actually have a poster in the Jagex Towers outside Paul's office with a picture of the OoC Cabbage Bombing a JMod event. I can assure you that this was Paul's idea. Remember: According to Jagex the OoC is the model Clan. :P
  11. Best MONTH EVAR! Kah Bah Gee!

I put Milk of Magnesia in a co-workers drink. It worked beautifully.

How does it feel to be an April Fool? Yeah, they got me. I just figured it out in this post when he asked that question :P. Best April Fools Joke ever, and I like the distraction with the fake Tip.It pages.

Wrong: He was crucified by the Sanhedrin as a blashphemer. The Romans were pressed into it, wanting to spare his life. Some were even skeptical and believed he might be some being of higher power.
  17. How about you ask your mother how to help you with it, or post a picture of the DVD casing. We are going to have a hard time helping you without sticking our heads through the internet and getting a look for ourselves.
  18. Why the Christian God then? Why not Allah, or Zeus, or Vishnu? Why not? Actually, the research part of my experience searching for God led me to the Jewish God (same one, mind you). From there I made a personal choice to believe in Christ.
  19. Guys, this is a thread on the topic of the future of religion. If you want to try to disprove religion, please take it to the appropriate thread. That being said, Assassin: I find beauty in nature too. The human body, for instance. Have you ever seen the inside of it? All those systems working in harmony, no space being wasted? For me, it's too perfect to have happened by chance (a la natural selection) and only affirms for me the existance of a higher power. Your fractal, as well. Can such perfection be attained by freak occurance? Math, physical science...it all just works too perfectly. And it is bound by natural laws. To me, that implies order.
  20. It's not A laxative. It's THE laxative. A glass of that stuff and you will be clean inside and out.
  21. Consider the average age of this forum and it shouldn't surprise you. Although my idea would cause you to vomit. Milk of Magnesia, helping old people and pranksters for 125 years.
  22. It would have been a far more enjoyable and believable story if you said you had added Milk of Magnesia to his milk.
  23. Crikey that took some reading. Okay, I will concede that I didn't fully understand the historical context of the incident. I misinterpreted it, sorry. However, my point stands that the God of the Old Testament is one that frequently ordered acts that by today's standards would be deemed cruel and unncessary, and these were particularly well carried out by people who we consider pillars of faith in modern society. You just have to remember how old the book you are reading is. Things that might be shocking and apalling to us now were commonplace back then. It was a cruel time.
