More revenants than usual? Maybe it's just that i'm unlucky today but there seems to be more as usally when Mining runite I encounter them on 3 worlds out of 10, today it was about 8 worlds out of 10...

They are attached to my motherboard (the usb plugs) so I don't know if I can remove them from there or not (didn't look yet).

So i'm not the only 1 who saw that What's there to see? All I see is a shoe...

Seems it's neither... Maybe buying vista and putting it on the computer could repair a lot lol I've been thinking about that for a while now, just, vista is quite expensive.

Hi I have Windows XP, and when I start my computer, the usb plugs work. It's only when the computer is on for a few hours that it starts doing that, the usb that are not used by the mouse (that means only one is used on the 5 that are on the computer), when I plug a device, maybe the printer or the usb key, they don't show up on windows as online. For those who think it is the powersave, no it is not enabled. Also, I have the same problem with the screen, when I start the computer half of the time I have tu shut it off and start it again for something to show up on the screen after loading windows. Thank your for you help in advance and if you guys need more info I will give info.

I do see it going over 200k often on peak hours, though I live in Canada so the peak hour is american. But the 50k drop is probably because of the autoers being off the game, lol just looking at how many there was, it is quite understandable that it dropped like that.

And as good antivirus, I recommend Kaspersky. So, for your parents, I think they do what they think is right. The only thing is if they say that you are getting those viruses from RuneScape, that is very wrong, and my parents were like that when I lived out there. They told me to stop Rs as they thought that was where the viruses came from. I explained how RuneScape was safe and virus free (you know, the game is on the server and all) and it did work. Maybe your parents are like mine and are paranoid about viruses on the internet. They think comes from anywhere. I wonder why they got the internet in the first place if they think like that :-k .

The budget I have is around $150 CaD. I still can go higher as I have a job and living alone and all. I just don't like going higher than that for a card.

Hi, I currently have a GeForce 7300 LE graphic card, and since the fan on it is broken (stille turns, it's the bearing that's broken) and since I don't really need a better card, I'm still wandering if I SHOULD just replace the fan (calling the company and putting it on the warranty) or completely replace the card with a better one. If you say a better one, I would like it if you say which card is the good one to buy. Note: I have a limited budget and I don't go often on full screen games.

What you are doing is very dangerous. You can scan with scanners that are online no problems but Having so many installed at the same time, there is just competition between them and fails at protecting the computer as they take other antiviruses often as viruses.

I'd say contact pay by cash to tell them you have that problem. I pay by check through the mail, the best as it is the safest, and it stays in Canada (goes to Toronto).

Don't go for Avast, at least, not yet. It's currently as bad as Norton is. They are making changes to their labs so it gets better, though they seem to have trouble. AVG is not that bad. Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 is currently the best Antivirus suite there is on the market, with Panda and Bitdefender not far behind. That's what my small research gave me when I was looking for the good antivirus to buy. Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 costs around 90 Canadian dollars. I like the way it works, scans a bit slow, but goes deep in the files, much deeper than Norton or McAfee. Kaspersky does not take a lot of energy to run as well, I can do several things (like normal) at the same time it scans. Also, a good thing (much better for more experienced users) it prompts me everytime there is something suspicious going on (I set it to do that) as well as scanning the trafic going trough the internet line, which stopped me a few times from getting spyware or so even before I got on the page. That's what I have to say about it. Also, at 90$, you can put it on 3 computers, which is nice too.

The best thing would be to undo that update I think since it seems that's what caused it, but where are they stored, I don't know.

Thank you, but there's something I forgot to mention, it only does that when I start the computer #-o After 5 mins to 30 mins the sound dies out. And yes it is a Desktop. But then again, you may be right, but at least I don't play much on games making the card heat, well, very rarely do I play games taking more than Rs does.

Hi people. For a few months now, I had some noise coming out of my computer, which I found my video card fan was doing. It's as if the fan is broken but I don't know since it still turns and that my card is still working fine. I have tried cleaning it but it didn't work much, lowered the sound or a few days then restarted making a worse sound. My card is a Nvidia Geforce 7300 LE. Came with the computer when I bought it. Impressed with Norton? :wall: I'd say, if you like suites, get Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0. It is the best currently in the market. If you want a good free one, download antivir or Avg, though avg is not the best. McAfee, Norton, Avast are right at the bottom of the list. They're part of the worst antiviruses. Although I have heard Avast is willing to improve their product. I have never heard of F-secure so I can't help here. NOD32 is the way to go if you only want an antivirus.

eww.. i wouldnt touch built-in graphic cards with a 10ft pole :x You might be able to play Crysis on whatever card you have with all the settings at their lowest...but not much more then that. Currently theres nothing that can truely run Crysis as it was intendedwith Max settings and AA turned up....even triSLI 8800 Ultras (costing about 2100 bucks) can barely play Crysis with everything turned up. Anyways, I'm surprised to see Crysis at the top of that list as everyone I know thats played it got bored with it pretty quick. I thought the general thought was that it was better used to benchmark graphics card then actually play lol. Graphically its amazing, but I hear it gets boring quick.
