  1. Well, this winter we had a whole lot of snow, and in the winter picture, you will see it as it had melted a bit already. I'll start with the sweet view pic :P, just a 50meter's walk in the wood behind the backyard. [hide=][/hide] [hide=][/hide] [hide=Summer photos now ->] [/hide]
  2. I've been seeing a lot of people say that on several forums, yet I have no difficulties at all to close the browser when I get this link? I actually did that at Work once, quite a good laugh seeing the guy try and find the problem. I actually had shut down explorer[Caution: Executable File] too haha. I was sticking around since I didn't want the computer to be disabled from use out of people's ignorance, as it's the only computer in the store. We all laughed when I showed them what was happenning. Living in a small town ftw :D.

Tested the buttered toast theory and proved it wrong (Although it's been like what, 10 years ago  )
  4. Oh, sorry, I usually clear everything myself so I thought....
  5. I don't really think Jagex can detect that, I've been blocking the ads for at least a year now and I've never been banned.
  6. I think you should disable the ads, it's all in them that there's errors.
  7. Check perhaps? Yep, it seems to me that the browser is using the cache and not the actual page. Happens to me sometimes on Opera.
  8. On most browsers it's either what you said or Ctrl + 0 (zero), so next time you can try and see ;).
  9. +1 on that. Using 9/11 is now out of date, all they had to change for that not to happen again, they did it in the first year, as of having stricker(sp?) rules in the airports and planes. What they are doing now is playing with the crowd's fears.
  10. Yep, I Remember working at Atlantic Superstore (Canada atlantic provinces), and everytime someone quit their job, they just called right before their shift. Nice way to have a good reputation :-# You know why I know that? I'm always the person they called, maybe cause they know I will say yes. Now I work at a different department store, still in food though (Price Chopper if it rings any bells for other people, part of Sobeys). Only problems is if they try to hire people, which they have tried a few times since I work there (Nov 07), they either get fired or just quit, but them are nicer, they call a few days before. I like working there though. Managers like that more than the first example I gave. I personnally give them notice as soon as I can (2 weeks), they have time to train the new person, and I get the chance to come back the year after if I need work :D. OT: I say go for the department store you like the most before trying the others :). It's always more fun working where you like to work than where you just get annoyed at the job very easily. I personnally like food departement store, but that's just until I go back to college :P. If you like jobs like wallmart, go there, but if you like food better, go to a grocery department store ;).
  11. That or a bug if you're playing Runescape HD, remember it's still in Beta. I don't know how it would do something like that tough.
  12. Well, I have been bullied most of the years I have been in school (and for those asking, it was because we were moving often, father in the military). I don't know why they always picked me though. The solution will depend on the bully, sometimes, Ignoring is very effective, but you have to go through the cycle of having them bully harder and harder before getting tired of not having any reaction at all from you. On other bullies, you can laugh the insults out, and it will annoy them, since the reaction they want is your anger. Heck, with that I even sometimes turned their own insult against them. Not having the reaction they want will make them stop. As for Goddess's solution, on rare occasions it can work, but it really has to be the right guy at the right time. Fights, never get into them, this is the worst thing you can do. Try to find other solutions, and if you still get worse, last resort is to go to the police. The very last resort is a restraining order (which I actually almost went for on one bully that was physicaly abusing me, and he promised me to stop if I canceled having one against him). Beware, those last resorsts can have consequences on your reputation. I consider myself lucky it didn't affect it at all. My word on this, patience. If nothing works, know that this will get no further than graduation day, most of them bully to showoff to other students, and they often stay at school for longer than you, failing and failing. You also have to tell yourself that one day you will be their boss at work. As soon as you enter college, you'll see that is very different, I was myself surprised about that, since I was so used to be bullied in educational places. I think I have more to say, but I can't remember -.- As for social anxiety, I think I still have some.

Pretty much same down speed as me. As for using Dial-up, Been using it from 2000 to 2006, and gosh was I amazed when I first saw broadband speed at school. Although the computer was getting old, it wasn't the computer waiting for the internet to load, but now the internet waiting for the computer to load if you understand what I mean  For reaching the cap, we never reached it, although I think our cap is like 30 Gb. I personnally never use Torrents, and very very rarely do I download anything other that what I need. We have 2 computers on the family internet, since I'll be moving out this summer :D. Went to Telus since I already have an account with them (cellphone), and it's really not worth it, 1Gb cap, only using that usb chip, and all for $75.
  14. Sorry for repeating this again, but I want to add, I have a 64 bit processor too and run Runescape HD as fine as the other detail modes. Actually, this lag problem has been going on for almost 8 months, and Jagex is hiding almost all the threads with serious discussion about it on their forum, even their own sticky.
  15. Actually, Quiznos beat the [bleep] out of Subway ;).
  16. Oops didn't use the good word, but thanks for the answer :).
  17. On the PSU discussion, do they even make any with fans in the back anymore instead of having it on top? I tryed to find one, since my PSU place is on the top of the case, but I couldn't, I want a 9600 and I also have a 300W PSU.... Sorry if this is highjacking the thread..
  18. Lol, I understand for War Rock though, so many hackers in that game -.-
  19. Well, for the broken fan thing, doesn't mean the fan will completely stop working. I remember on my older card, a 7300 LE, the fan had broke, but I didn't know until after I checked the temperatures, apparently the fan was going at max speed, but it was a lot slower than before if temperatures got high enough to damage the GPU, making that anything using the GPU crashed, and even windows wasn't clear on the screen.
  20. Hmm, from what I experienced, either the modem is broken or the outtage(sp?) comes from the ISP. If that happens to everyone around with he same ISP, you know what it is, and damn that was annoying when it happened to me. As for the modem, since it's not the same I had, maybe the light pattern is different, but I did have lights flashing, first started to do this a few seconds, then it became hours after a few months and then it wouldn't reinitialize at all, even when power cycling. Anyway, just telling, better to follow sloter's advice.
  21. Eww, you think about going for Dell? They used to be good, but now it's just crap, the computers break so fast. HP is the way to go, they choose parts of quality.

Vanilla Coke? Never heard of that, and the worst is, I work in a grocery store. As for me, I'd choose Pepsi, for some reason I can't stand the taste of coke, I don't know why at all. I recently tasted the Coke zero and it actually tastes a lot worse than regular in my opinion. Nowadays I drink Big8 Cola(Canadian maritimes only I think), since it only costs half the price of Pepsi or Coke, and has a taste similar to Pepsi's one.
  23. Lol the grocery store I work at is just beside the Canadian Tire store, and I often see them doing spins with costumers cars, including police cars, last time I saw them, they were flashing the lights and the got off the siren a few times too. I guess that's a lot of trouble if they get caught (exept by me since I don't tend to go tell the management about that). As for where I work, If people nicely ask me to see if there's still some amount of an item in stock and I have to got look at the back, I will really try to find it, but if the ask me without manners and all, I'll only do a "surface check". I only find annoying though that some of them are hard to find back, it's like either you stay and wait till I come back to tell you or you come to the door so I can tell you faster. I will always look for the costumer though. First time I didn't look back for the costumers getting lost in the aisles and all, was today, but that was because I was the only one on the floor and that it was very busy today, as well as the sale on a few things, spent most of the time trying to fill the soda bottles, but when they're at $0.59 for a 2L bottle, that's kind of hard to maintain. Heh, I wrote more than I was thinking I would :P.
  24. Well having same amount of ram on all bars were with DDR, with DDR2, you can have different amounts of ram on the bars, although I personnally have 3 bars of 1 Gb, most people have 2 bars of 1Gb and 2 bars of 512 for the same amount of ram. I only run slower because I'm not on dual channel.
  25. I work at a grocery store too (till September, college ftw :P) and pretty much everything he said happens. "Do you have bread?" Lol of course we have, and I have to go and show them the bread, and we have a whole wall of bread... :wall: "What's the price of [item]" I get this one a lot too, and I start to remember item prices now, and specials are easier to remember, like the 3 day sale that started today on soda, at 59 cents the 2L bottle. Only happened once that someone stayed to apologize and was even willing to give a tip for the cleanup. Laundry detergent is really the worst thing to clean up. Bottles fall once in a while, but one time a whole display fell off... Also had a Kraft dinner display fall off because people are stupid enough to go take their products in the bottom of the display instead of the top, where's the logic in that? I actually made some friends this way :D. Edit: Oh, forgot that one time that someone said "You don't like cats?", cause there was no cat food left on the shelves, only the 8Kg bags were left. We had received the order that day too though.
