Job interview tomorrow, got any tips?
For the resume, a good idea would be to put the years of what you did beside the things you did as well. It's also a good idea to put the year you're in right now in school. A 3rd reference would also be great :). I could rewrite mine to show you what I mean (yeah, I accidentaly deleted it, even in the backup -.-, needs to be redone anyway) For the Interview, what they have said about what you should wear is good. Shake hands before and after the interview. If he asks to talk about yourself, name some of your qualities. I guess other people's advice is pretty good too.

Moving Music Folder
I, too, have an external hard drive, (750Gb for $200 CAD, even cheaper now I think), and I can say I love it, and it has saved me when I had to do a recovery.

Why does my runescape look like this?
Do you have one of those HP Media Center TV PCs? Your windows style is the default one for Windows XP Media Center, and you have similar specs to what I have (Exept I upgraded a bit). If the answer is yes, than it may be your GPU (graphics processor). Those 7300LE cards are not very reliable since the fan tends to break easily. I had to change my card because of a partly fried GPU, I could do anything in windows, but any games and even Windows Movie Maker would kick out (freeze too).

Post Pictures of Your Desktop - August
Heh, your choice :). I personnally prefer Vista, since it has less errors than XP (more stable than XP I guess). Only have to put normal icons instead of huge, and to disable uac :P. I have not even got one error on my Vista SP1 on my laptop, while I have errors daily on my Windows XP SP3 desktop.

Working out topic
Hmm, I sense this topic is going to be locked if there's more flaming going on  Anyway, for me, I don't workout, although I'm thinking of starting working out just to get the bit of belly fat off. No, I'm not overweight. Looks like I have either natural muscle, or all the work I do around made them, since a few days ago, that guy I was talking to, when we began to talk about that, said "wtf you don't take supplements and you don't workout?", and I said no, and he was a bit surprised. Also seems to him that I had lost some fat too.

Post Pictures of Your Desktop - August
you have to be the only person on these forums that still uses XP :P I use XP, except I hide my taskbar and use a dock program. I also use Windows XP, so I take offense to your remark, Mlbfan13... :x <*DVD pulls out his arsenal, and ganks Mlbfan13 with a gravity hammer.*> That will teach you not to insult 3 WinXP users. ~Mr. D. V. Devnull Make that 4 :P [hide=][/hide] Make that 5  lol. Laptop one hasn't changed, but here is the desktop's one. Picture I have taken myself. [hide=][/hide]

mcafee internet security
Don't go for AVG, it once was a very good antivirus, but now it has gone downhill, meaning it doesn't find viruses as it did before. It's still better than McAfee, but if you want a free antivirus, go for Avira. That Av has some false positives, but is worth it, being the best free antivirus right now. Just to say, I have removed viruses on some friend's computers and they all had AVG. One of the computers had a rogue antivirus that was shutting AVG down too, and quite easily. If you want to go on even better, but having to pay, Kaspersky and NOD32 are the best. I'm personnally going to change from Kaspersky to NOD32 when the subscription ends. For antispyware and firewall, you made good choices ;).

Need mp3 player
My brother has an Irivier, an older version but it's 5Gbs, and he had to send it for repairs............... twice. That's what's getting me off this brand. Good brands I saw arround are pretty much Sandisk (cheap but reliable), they make the Sansa MP3 players, and Creative make good ones too. Of course there's known brands too, like Sony, but I never bought anything from them, so I don't know their quality.

Advice on a college laptop?
Well, to me, you got a great deal, considering I bought a laptop recently with similar specs and similar price, exept the Hard drive 250Gb and Gfx is an ATI HD 3470 (still HD lol). To those wondering, I have a desktop still stronger than that, that I will still upgrade as time passes.

HELP, only have 1 hour left

Surgery -gulps-
Actaully, BhB's operation will take nowhere near the jaw... And didnt your dentists warn your brother about the risks of not wearing braces? I was referring to a post at the bottom of the previous page, which I really should have quoted to save confusion. Of course the dentists warned my brother about how his overbite would worsen and would have been more easily corrected if he had gotten braces, but nobody really wants to wear braces and nobody made him. Yeah, that is the operation I will be having. However, I have been trying to get braces for about 4 years, but orthodontists always told me to wait. -.- Actually, I've been asked if I wanted this operation, and I declined. Guess what, It's all at the right place now, without treatment. That shows how the work just to get money.

Instead of AVG, use Avira. AVG has once been the best in free av software, but now it has fallen back and does not perform as good as before.

I hate my car...
Lol 7 years is the best I have been seeing, all other people that drive manuals around here, they don't go for that long with theirs. Although, I said starting, it's still good for a year or 2 since I don't have trouble shifting yet, only slides a little bit when I accelerate fast.

2012 Apoclypse: Fact or Fiction?
Actually, from the same texts I was talking about in the other post, they said it would begin somewhere in mid 2009 and finish at the end of 2012, beginning a new era.

2012 Apoclypse: Fact or Fiction?
This could happen though. In history, the polar changes are at about the same distance one another, and because of that, they say we are long overdue for that to happen since it's been more that the usual time it takes before it changes. I'm sorry for not putting up my sources of this, it's all in french lol.

They do have spywares on some of their pages or so I heard. I think they remove them quick enough though. As for the Antivirus, use Avira instead of Avast!, it's better and also free.

I hate my car...
Well, there's one thing I learned, well, seen on tv, although I don't remember the program and episode, Most of the popular American brands of vehicles are better if you go in pre-1996. After that, it's all junk that will break whithin 4 to 6 years, or not even reaching 200 000Kms. Personally, I love my Toyota Echo, standard since it's much more strong that the automatics ones, it's now at 240 000+Kilometers, with 2 accidents, the first one breaking the front of the car, inculding changing the radiator and a few sensors in the motor (the insurance paid it), and the second one only breaking a light and bending the fender(sp?) (hit a deer on the second one), and it's a 2001 Echo. I still put no money to repair it, although the clutch (still the first one) is starting to wear out.
