According the the weather network, this morning was the coldest temperature the city I live in ever had since they started recording them. This was at -36.7C (-34F for you americans). Previous record was held by -36.1C on Feb 2, 1962. Let's just say I prefer snow winters over cold winters.

1.88M or 6'2" (these symbols for feet and inches always mess me up because I'm so used to the metric system). Here in Canada as well, at least in the provinces I lived in, everything is metric except our height.

Depends, I moved into the city and replaced my old car for a brand new car (this was in 2013) and I would not give it up for anything. There are instances though, where taking the bus is better for where I want to go, but usually for me, even for work, the car is better as it takes 1/4 the time the bus takes to get to work and other stuff like that, and on the weekend I can take drives if I want.

Even Dell's business line is not top notch. If you'd see the number of Latitude laptops and Precision desktops I put on warranty per month out of the 150 computers I'm in charge of where I work, you wouldn't touch a Dell.

I don't have glasses so unfortunately I can't help you with that. It's been quite cold here too these last couple of days, and it's going to get even colder before it gets warmer too here. I'm tempted not to go for a walk tomorrow. [hide][/hide]

Uninstall Norton, it'll fix a few problems. Having had issues with Chrome and the same issues you were having with Firefox (although I only had 3 add-ons running), Opera became my browser of choice because it is much more stable than Chrome (No idea why, since it uses the same engines) and doesn't look like Chrome either (I hate the Chrome look, which I why I still have an older Firefox version, although I don't use Firefox anymore. Opera still basically looks like what the browsers used to look like (button placement etc).

Seeing what she does, I guess the doesn't need anything graphics intensive? Once you can confirm this, I will look at what I can recommend, but it should be pretty easy to get it in the budget stated above.

Old School RuneScape "Loading Configuration" Error [Client]
Sbrideau replied to Explarimus's topic in Tech and Computers
I remember one day getting this error because my Java version was too recent. If you installed the Java 8 runetime, you should uninstall it and go back to 7.* -
^ It's a 840M not a 8400M. The 840 is way better and at least is recent, than the 8400 which is from 2007 lol. Even though I hate AMD cards especially because of the drivers, the Probook has usually a hell of a lot better build quality than the Envy. Just for the graphics card I'd go with the envy still though since it's pretty much the same specs, but all in all the choice is yours.

The nerfs and buffs have only been put in for the old consoles, not the One and the PS4, I don't know what they're waiting for, but we had all the other bug fixes. I've yet to see glitches on the One other than the door in the map "Horizon". I agree about the connection issues but since the patch they have been fixed for me. What they do though is they check for skill then ping/connection, while what they should do to optimize connections for everyone while still getting their goal of skill based matchmaking is they should check for connection then skill.

If the files have corrupted then it's not ransomware, it's just a virus to destroy them. Ransomware encrypts files and then asks for money. Doing a system restore can sometimes remove the encryption depending on which ransomware you got. There's also a website that gives you keys to decrypt the files for one certain ransomware but I can't recall what's it called at the moment.

You will need to replace it. When a hard drive goes bad multiple things could be the cause and it's usually the first thing to go, so don't worry when getting another one, the computer will probably outlast it too. I strongly suggest backing up your stuff that you don't want to lose before your HDD completely dies.

Well, got my first prestige a hell of a lot faster than I did in Ghosts.

Ah, that helps to know. And it was an AMD. I take it they have a reputation for this kind of thing? No it's just because they have PGA processors while Intel has LGA processors. Pins are on the Porcessor for AMD while they are on the motherboard for Intel.

Overclocked my computer today. It hasn't been that responsive and stable since the motherboard started failing sometime last year. Can't wait until I build another computer though. Now the processor isn't at a 100% load all the time anymore.

It was probably driver problems when you put the hdd in the other computer. Putting it back in the computer it belongs too should make it work again unless the startup repair did something it shouldn't have. But yeah looks like it was an AMD that you have. Talking about OC, you reminded me I wanted to do it to my computer, it's so old and weak now that I can't do much with it, and I can't afford to build another yet.

They surely will as they do with every game. Don't expect the BAL to stay better than the other guns.

Might try it just to see it in action :P

I hope you just press the reload button once too, if you press it twice it reloads 30% faster but wastes the rest of the mag.
