Well, I'm pretty much into the stuff already. I first started by going to college in Biotechnology, but ended up dropping out on the second year, out of boredom. I then got a 2 year degree in computer programming, and worked for a year in the domain, but then got fired because of cuts (last in, first out), but I do have extremely good references for future jobs. Pay was very good too (at least for my region, $32 000/year). I am now starting another course, still in computers, but this time it is networking and security, another 2 year degree, which should make it easier to get jobs, plus I liked it more than the actual programming from what I did in the past.

Meh, I don't look at the keyboard at all.

Lots of winds after the storm, but oddly enough the sea didn't have big waves like it usually has, tonight after the wind died down.

In the North-East of NB there's quite a bit of wind now, but not so much rain. I would've liked it better if Edmunston got the wind and us the rain since we can take that rain without flooding too much, but Edm is in a bad spot with all that rain.

Yeah, I find images not loading very annoying too. For some reason, Dizzle's image didn't load for me as well. Seems to happen a lot lately, and it's only on these forums as well.

Here it is quite different, we got enough rain this year that even in the spring it drowned seeds in some fields. Last week was the first week of the year with a majority of sun and not rain.

Expected to hit at the end of the day Sunday here, but being in New Brunswick, Canada, it's just going to be rain and wind rather than a storm, most likely.

I read somewhere that the quality of the VGA cord has to do with the quality of the picture, something to do with the analog signal, where digital always have good quality even with a poor quality cable. If anyone can confirm or correct me on this. As for the image not filling up the screen, I know what you mean, I do not know what causes it, but I know that my laptop doesn't fill the whole 37" TV screen (borders on all 4 sides), but does not have any trouble on my parent's 32" TV, while my brother's laptop, much stronger than mine, does not have these borders, so I don't know if it has to do with the graphics of the laptop seeing as I have an HD 3470 in my laptop and my brother has a GT560m.

^^This. Might really help us if you can give us a model type/number for the router. Easy google searches for user guides would do wonders. Depends. If the modem has the ability to NAT, then yes. If not, then no. We set up a fair amount of our DSL customers with modems in bridged mode, and they don't pull IP addresses, the devices behind it do. All of our wireless broadband and fiber customers own equipment pulls the public IP addresses, though the equivalent of the modems pull separate address (in a local dhcp subnet) I see, the 2 ISPs in my region are both using NAT capable modems and it is the modem that pulls the ip address for both of them.

I think OP is paying ridiculous prices. I was getting 25Mb/s for $64/month. Although I'm somewhere where optic fiber is available, and that I am getting it soon.

It's not the router that you have to unplug and plug back in. It's the Modem.

I much prefer the arcade style CoD has to offer. I'm not sure yet but I might be buying MW3, Infinity Ward's hit detection always was flawless, not like Treyarch, both games from them I played had hit detection issues, which means that Black Ops is the last one I'm buying from Treyarch.

Digital vs analog I do know it is Digital vs Analog, it's not because I didn't mention it that I don't know it. I just didn't think it was worth mentioning here.

With my laptop I've used both HDMI and VGA with my 37" HDTV and there isn't a whole lot of difference although HDMI looks sharper. You should be fine with VGA. As far as I know, the only difference between both of them is VGA not having sound. Maybe that's because I have a quality VGA cable.

Apparently they felt it here in New-Brunswick too, although at the south of the province. I wish I was still living there (moved out to the north of the province last week). I could've known what it was like, although I still probably wouldn't really have felt it.

Honestly, my opinion is that most people voted for Jack rather than the NDP. He just had something about him that made you want to like him. None of the other leaders really have that which is probably why the NDP jumped so much in the last election. So unless they find someone with that certain je ne sais pas, the NDP won't be nearly the same without him. I agree with this. Last election, Quebec in particular voted for him (with so many completely unqualified MPs being elected). I think the NDP is going to lose a lot of seats next election. Not only in Quebec, but in most of eastern Canada. Unfortunately with our system with 2 left parties and one right one, conservative went in in some places where most of the votes were NDP/Liberal, it's like that at least here in N-B. Nonetheless, he was a very good leader and it is a shame to lose him. Jack, you did a very good job and we hope we will get more people like you in our government.

I haven't been to BK since they overcharged me... Twice... a few years back. This means that the news do not matter at all to me.

Even if I still have BO I'm not buying it, map packs are not worth my money if they make the game lag like hell. I have removed all the map packs and in the end it did stop the lag issues. That other time where I was saying it didn't was because my internet speed was 0.5 Mb/s instead of the usual 25 Mb/s.

I have a friend that got the same thing, but even with first trying to clean the dust, then that not working, replacing the thermal paste, his PS3 still did that, so you might need luck with this. Opening it and using a compressed can of air is your best bet for now, and hopefully it will work.

It is, but it only rings every 10 minutes. Problem is that even if it is at the other side of the room I press snooze without waking up and can wake up hours later. Which is why I need 2 alarm clocks, so far the different tones in the alarms always woke me up.

Get one of those obnoxious helicopter alarms clocks. I had one. Then I kind of destroyed it. Kind of. I tell you what, that damn thing was good at waking me up in the morning. Do like me, I used to turn off my alarm clock in my sleep as well, but now I have 2 alarm clocks and it wakes me up. Just put 5 minutes between the time the first one and the second one sounds.
