  1. Simplify that a little please? He's saying this law is protecting the rights of vulnerable individuals who can't make decisions for themselves. His argument would hold a lot more water if abortion was illegal. Also by the logic of his argument, a child of any age should be able to leave his parent's care if he wanted or it'd be a violation of "individual rights".
  2. On that note, abortion also fits in your argument. Abortion isn't banned, either. That's not what we're talking about though. If your argument is saying no circumcisions should take place at all, and mine is that if you want, you can circumstance your child, that means I'm fighting for freedom, and you're fighting for absolutism, which in essence, is unconstitutional. Furthermore, the source you gave is not what I asked. I asked for a documented physiological trauma from a circumcision from birth.

    Come back to us.
  4. Well, there goes the the first amendment. Also, your logic can go to so many damn things in all religions that it's not even worth listing them; but really, just show me one documented case of physiological trauma from a circumcising from birth.
  5. Because you're cutting off part of someone's body without their consent, it kind of does matter. And there is in fact evidence of longstanding PTSD-like symptoms in circumcised males. http://www.bma.org.uk/ethics/consent_and_capacity/malecircumcision2006.jsp#Bestinterests "In the past, circumcision of boys has been considered to be either medically or socially beneficial or, at least, neutral. The general perception has been that no significant harm was caused to the child and therefore with appropriate consent it could be carried out. The medical benefits previously claimed, however, have not been convincingly proven, and it is now widely accepted, including by the BMA, that this surgical procedure has medical and psychological risks." Psychological risks my ass. How the hell can a new born have psychological risks from this? Future psychological risks... Post one documented case of a child circumcised from birth with psychological damage from it.

  7. I'm happy with the decision my parents have made as well (circumcise).
  8. If you want to pull that card, why allow parents to make any body-related decisions for their children at all? Oh for christ sake, circumcision is a choice that should be decided by the guy himself when he is old enough, not due to religious or whatever belief, unless it's a medical situation. This is my, so it seems, crazy viewpoint on this forum. I'm glad my parents decided to get mine done as an infant. If you wait until the person is conscious enough to make the personal choice, that would mean he's now reached the point where circumcision is more painful, difficult, dangerous, and will now actually be aware of the not so comfortable experience. So circumcision is a painful, difficult, dangerous, uncomfortable medical procedure that is FORCED upon a very young child. The benefits of circumcision are miniscule in a first world country like the United States. It IS forced mutilation. In many places, forced mutilation is considered torture. Let's say I create a religion which follows our god saying that we must cut off our big toes. Nobody would allow or support it. But they support and allow circumcision... TL;DR Circumcision is (in the way it is done without consent of the victim) a human rights violation. Nomronbon, please know what you're talking about before you reply with something as nonsense as this. First of all, having it done a few days after you're born makes the procedure quick, easy, and nearly painless. When you have it done as an adult, the procedure becomes really painful, difficult, possibly expensive (surgery) and with many possible complications. Second: Circumcisions do help prevent the spread of HIV. Third: Do you even know the definition of mutilation? tr.v. mu·ti·lat·ed, mu·ti·lat·ing, mu·ti·lates 1. To deprive of a limb or an essential part; cripple. 2. To disfigure by damaging irreparably: mutilate a statue. See Synonyms at batter1. 3. To make imperfect by excising or altering parts. Oh look, because the foreskin is so essential and without it you are crippled. And if you are going to point at definition 3, then please tell me how a body part is perfect if you can altar it to help your health?
  9. I'd imagine this sort of thing would make hunting for elites "easier", in the sense that while holding a level 3 in your bank any scroll drops from a monster that drops elites would be level 4. I don't honestly think OP cares about level 2 or 1s anyways lol. You know me well Attenuation
  10. Either a Latin or Julies Caesar reference. Either way, well played.

I'd give you my cool whip that's for sure, good work  and yes Hawkxs that's the correct answer. That's the minimum, at least (it can be 2kg, 0.2kg, 0.02kg... ect. depending on how high up on the carnivore chain you go. All of which are correct). Don't worry Ginger_Warrior, that reference is not lost. You ruined the joke.

  18. Dane Cook is worse. I find Jeff Dunham hilarious.
  19. Not saying that, but if everyone was perfect, they'd be much less jobs available for them.-
  20. They get paid to do it anyways.

I'd hate to see what you are like with hayfever then. Thinking of buying a 80GB PS3 next week, then buy a 500GB HDD later and swap them over, saving me a good chunk of money. (and cashing in my Wii since I hate it) I would wait a little until the issue with ps3 network is over and done with.
  22. Except you could three years ago, why is it rising so fast now?

For a long time, when I was a noob, I made my cash chopping willows and selling to the general store (didn't know that players paid more) as well as picked up unwanted coins from the ground. Then, for a while, I was hired by a guy to cut him yew logs for under the market price (didn't know this) so he could sell them for profit. He eventually paid me with a rune 2H and full rune armor set. It comes of no surprise that someone would be ignorant about making cash for so long. Personally, I think I got about 60-70 woodcutting before buying membership and learning that cutting magic logs for 100k/hr was a decent moneymaker for a person at my level at that point in time. I then made bank by looting over 3 million in items from a guy's body after he died from poison in Falador, one day before the infamous 6/6/06. And then I got backstabbed by a friend because he was poor after getting scammed and could only afford a dragon skirt, so he borrowed some of my equipment and never gave it back so he could afford dragon legs so he wouldn't "look gay." Oh the joy of the noob days! Lmao I was the person hiring people to cut me yews for under marketprice and selling them for a profit.
