  1. i was under the impression it absorbed/killed/demolished familiars.
  2. wow. someone took my comment on that other thread, and made it into a thread :s i used to do all sorts of fun stuff as a kid, hell, i still do and i'm about to be 20. never really got seriously hurt doing anything, had a few near concussions (best story about one of those is when my friend and i were pretending to fight with bamboo shafts, i blocked wrong and he ended up smashing me in the side of the head with a shaft of bamboo that was like an inch or so in diameter. that was painful) also my friend and i decided to take a walk on down the creek that was near his property, walked for a few hours, ended up 7 miles taking the roads from his house, was only probably 3 following the creek, but we were tired. we got some stranger (who coincidentally got her daughter who went to the same school as us, and who had seen us, as we had seen her in the school halls  ) to drive us home. fun times. i miss those days. oh, and most of my good stories are from the ages of like, 14-17. i honestly don't remember much of anything prior to age 12.
  3. i found the wallpaper to be pretty bland actually. i did like the player gallery though, some good works in there.
  4. well, i love kurasks, so i might be able to give a bit of advice here. when you melee, you need food, you don't have the summon level for bunyips, so you'll be healing a lot more, especially with your 75 defence. one question is for melee, are you using the leaf bladed spear? or the leaf bladed sword? the sword is very similar in stats to a dragon longsword, and thusly quite good against them, way better than the spear. with range (although i've meleed thousands of these so my experience lies there, i did range like 400-500ish while i was training range to 70) you can stand in the entranceway until they go unaggresive, stand as close as you can to the room itself, 1 spot away from where they will be able to attack you. once they go unaggressive you can move to the rocks that are near the entranceway, you need to pay attention to where the kurasks are standing, or walking too though, as you need to attack kurasks diagonal or behind the rocks, otherwise they will most likely be able to hit you. oh, and all this is for the slayer cave near rellekka, fairy ring code AJR. i have never been to the well from smoking kills, except to kill the quest boss of course. i hope this helps! any other questions about kurasks, just ask or pm me about them.
  5. your random pictures, such as the carrot juice and stuff was useless too. and shadowfax, scrubs is awesome, so is that episode. i lol'd when i saw this, cause even though i've never done a flaming shot before, even i know you are supposed to blow it out just before it goes in your mouth, or at least make sure it all goes in your mouth. as far as i know, he just ended up with some singed hair and a crispy t-shirt neck.
  6. i heard it wasn't a matter of guessing the password, but researching the answers to her recovery questions, such as zip code and where she met her husband, and one other one i forget. goes to show, don't have simple recovery questions.
  7. pink floyd is one of my alltime favorite bands. it's at the top, if not damn close. my mom used to listen to it all the time when i was younger, and i got hooked. it calms me down so well, and i just love the songs in general.
  8. i want it, i have gta4 and i haven't even beaten it yet, although i'm pretty close. it's like gta, but different, i like variety in my games, just like all the rpg games, same thing rehashed differently with a different plot and title, and people buy loads of those, myself included.
  9. i've been excited about this game since i heard about it, i fully enjoyed the first one, and you had me at and also, i'm glad that this will have the things that gta4 is missing, mainly the ambulance/fire truck missions and the like. if saints row 2 has a forklift that i can lift the tines on, so i can flip cars, i'll be happy. i was soooo pissed when i found a forklift in gta4 and i couldn't do anything with the tines. i think it was gta:sa that you could move the tines on forklifts. i could drive around for hours coming up to people at stop lights and lifting them up and carrying them to a cliff and dropping them, or flipping them on the spot, or dropping on another car, or dropping on people. you get what i mean. now if only i could do this with the forklifts at work...
  10. oh yeah, i forgot about the holy elixir, good call. i had the last part pretty much right though :s
  11. also as a little note because people seem to be confused, the sigils are used to make the spirit shield, e.g the elysian sigil + spirit shield = elysian spirit shield, that's one reason why the sigils are cheaper. although this has been mentioned before in this thread, it seemed worth mentioning as people still seem to be confused.
  12. read the first post and it will all make sense. i did read the first post. mine was comical you clearly missed the comedy.
  13. i dunno, wrapping a kid in bubble wrap sounds totally fun to me. if i could get someone near me to do it, i'd totally vid it for you guys. rolling around in bubble wrap, trying to stand up and move, getting out of the bubble wrap. sounds like an awesome amount of fun to me. have i missed the point of this thread? cause basically to me this sounds like a better direction than the op being a jerk.
  14. i rather liked this article. it's the first one i've read in a while, and even though i melee and thusly don't use safespots often, it made sense, safespots have been disappearing. i've heard other people talking about it. all in all i enjoyed it even though it didn't really pertain to me. thanks vhellcat.
  15. :o i was wondering if somebody would notice this. but yes, i was on tif at the time of the pictures.
  16. man, if you'd have stopped by chicago, i and a few others woulda stopped by to see you. it looks amazing. i won't be able to do anything like that anytime soon, maybe once i'm retired.
  17. nice glasses crusader :o i didn't know that you wore glasses, they look good on you. i also got my new sunglasses in today, my normal glasses came in the other day, the pic is on page 31.
  18. yeah, i run blogscape chat now, if you have a problem with forsakenmage's chat, join "evil mumm ra" but we follow almost all the same rules and everything, so it won't be that much different. not really sure what you were looking to accomplish by insulting people anyway, that'll get you kicked in my chat as well.
  19. i am, and i hadn't gotten on it except for arcanists like twice in the past few months. this persuaded me to try out dungeon assault though, which is fun, but also very slow to start. very slow.
  20. i used broad just because they were cheap, i was using bows and arrows before that, and i hated range, i still hate range, but bolts and c'bows make it all that much easier, and faster, i did 62-70 range with broad, and only used 3k bolts.
  21. oh, and here i always wrote 19/yes please/wisconsin. weird. and this won't get you anything, it's just a scare tactic.
  22. that has got to be the worst background ever. and also, i can't ever see myself needing all that stuff with a browser. which is why i like chrome. the only problem chrome has for me is when i first open it, and click a tab on my bookmark bar, it closes itself. and photobucket lags the hell out of it.

nah, that's just when the mayan calendar ended for reasons unknown. the poles flipping is just another bs theory.
  24. i got new glasses, since my old ones were like 4 years old or something, and the screws were missing to hold the lenses in the frames, so they were held by bent paper clips, and the right lens was permanently fogged because i was apparently around some chemicals. [intense stare] [/intense stare] oh, and these are super cool "flexon" frames, meaning i can bend them and they go back to where they were. i'll be posting another picture in a few days with my prescription sunglasses too. edit: it was pointed out to me on irc that i look even more like :ugeek: with these new glasses. it was unintentional but awesome nonetheless.
  25. with your postcount, you *SHOULD* know better. prepare for a lock.
