  1. Chocolate! : Dragonfruit is a real fruit, not made up. It looks quite pretty, but it doesn't taste particularly nice.

  3. Excuse me??? Tramp stamps??? How dare you be so judgemental! I am by no means a tramp, and will thank you not to imply otherwise.

  5. I have a small-ish "Little Miss Naughty" tattoo on my back. :D I had it done about 7 years ago and I still love it now. It didn't really hurt as such, but it wasn't the most comfortable feeling in the world.
  6. your rite.. Well you're OK there, I only cost ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã195 :D
  7. OK...we own up...Me, Issy, Cad, Star_in_the_sky, Kayla...etc, we're not real. We are divine beings sent down to earth to cause uncertainty amongst you boys, and it seems our work is done. Good job girls.
  8. Make pasta bolognese...one of the easiest meals ever.... You will need a fairly large saucepan. Peel and chop 1 onion, fry in a little oil until golden brown. Add minced beef (go for the lean stuff, fat = ych a fi) and fry until brown. Drain off any excess fat. Chuck the following ingredients into the pan: *A tin of tomatoes (have another on standby incase you need more) *Some sliced mushrooms. *About 2 teaspoons of tomato puree *A crushed clove of garlic (optional) *An oxo cube (or 2 teaspoons of gravy granuals) *A pinch of Italian herbs *Seasoning to taste Cook it for about half an hour. Serve with pasta of your choice and maybe some garlic bread. Any leftovers can be either frozen, or turned into chilli by adding another tin of tomatoes, a tin of red kidney beans, a little chilli powder (cayenne pepper) and some chopped chillis (optional).
  9. *Note to everyone: NEVER eat at his house!*
  10. Umm...an air freshner for a motorbike?
  11. I really can't remember. As an indication as to how long ago it was, I will tell you that I would have been playing on either my Atari or C64

I believe in ghosts. So far, I've known of two living in my family home, one of which was my Nan. She stayed with us for a few weeks after she died, communicating with us mainly through her clock. If there is a scientific explanation, I don't think I want to hear it. I'm quite happy with my beliefs.

I thought of an onion ... ych a fi.
  14. By Dave Pelzer: * A child called "It" * The lost boy * A man named Dave Dave Pelzer tells his true story; surviving a childhood of mistreatment. Heart-wrenching but well worth reading. (Keep a box of tissues to hand) I agree! The Discworld series is really bizarre, but great.
  15. Right, the second dilemma..... I'm afraid I'm going to be selfish now and say that I wouldn't pay for any of the 3 operations listed. I wouldn't use all of my money on someone I don't have a connection to. If they were a friend/relative of mine, obviously I would pay up without hesitation. There are other people in the world who could afford to help these others out. Plus, I hate begging letters, so I probably wouldn't have even read their emails/letters.
  16. Suzanne, but I prefer to be called Suzi. People only ever call me Suzanne when they're angry with me.
  17. Thanks very much, you're fantastic!
  18. Yes, I agree that you shouldn't let it interfere with your future. But on the other hand, you will need to grieve now. Don't bottle up your feelings, nobody will think any less of you for shedding as many tears as you need to over your friend. Remember the good times you shared, maybe write a few things down. If it does get to you too much, I suggest you seek professional help, maybe in the way of a counsellor.
  19. I would be devastated but I'd have to have hammy put down. :( As many of you have said, they have a short lifespan anyway. My last hamster, Bob, cost me ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã50 when she escaped from her cage and chewed through the wires to the building's security alarm.
  20. Don't over fill it, it is an "expansion" tank. That additional space is supposed to be filled with air - which compresses easily as the heated coolant expands.

Teaching is a great profession to get into, go for it. I've worked in my current school for five years and I love it. A few tips: *Think about the kind of teacher you want to be. We all had our favourite teachers in school, aim to be like them. *Before you start reeling off reams of information, you need to establish how much the children already know. *Don't let the class joker get the better of you. Once you've lost control, it's so hard to get it back. *If you ask a question, and are given the wrong answer, make sure you praise the child for trying ... i.e. "That wasn't the answer I was looking for, but it was a really good guess". *Before you try actually teaching a class, try your lesson out on a group of people who will truthfully tell what they think of it. *If you've made a mistake somewhere in your lesson, make light of it. If you panick, the children will seize the chance to get one over on you. *The children will probably be at different levels of learning. You will need to think about this in the delivery of your lesson, be prepared to break information down into simpler sentences. Also in any work you set, it pays to have a slightly easier sheet to slip to any children who may be struggling. *Try not to make anyone feel stupid. *The children with their hands up, answering all the questions may have understood your lesson. Think about the child who has sat quietly in the back. It's all too tempting to help the children who keep calling out to you, but make sure you check on the quiet ones too. Good luck!!!
  22. If I knew everyone's age for sure I might think about doing it.. *cough*Rush and Suzi*cough* Oh God....OK...... I'm 27  I don't think I need to worry about being too young to sign up.
  23. *Sigh* ... I think I'll spend the evening cuddled up to my cats...(sad old spinster, move over Bridget Jones)
  24. Imminent??? I hope not!
  25. How do you know for sure they are ghosts? Currently there has been no evidence shown for the existence of ghosts and prizes of over $1 million are being offered to anybody who has the slightest proof. Nobody has been able to yet show any kind of proof. It would be interesting to hear from you so I can understand your view too. :) It's a matter of belief, sadly it can't be proven. There are no ghosts in the house at this time, but if another decides to stay with us, I'll let you know. :D
