The second film stays fairly faithful to the book, more so than the first anyway. Roald Dahl like poking fun at adults and creating a situation where a child can get one up on an adult. Willy Wonka, as played by Gene Wilder, was too much of an adult. Johnny Depp gives him a childish manner, which is more in-keeping with the character Roald Dahl had originally created.

I've taken quite a shine to this song.

My father likes to think he knows his way around a computer. He can sign into MSN, but has to ask me what to do once he's signed in. My mum has no idea. She doesn't know how to turn a computer on. She's quite content with a Playstation2 anyway. I get by more on luck than judgement.
