There is a bug with MTK so be careful. A little background. I had MTK running with millions in the coffrers at all times. For the first few months it was on Maples for nests and the rest on fish. i then switched it to Max raw fish and the res flax and let it run for well over a year always over 90% and always with millions on the coffers. It got to a point where my aproval raiting wasent going down anymore, i had actually made a post about it in the help and advice forum on this site as well as asked about it in the "axe man jack" cc. i thought i had just maxed out on fish so i switched my workers to maples and mining to see if raiting would go back down. It dident. So today i went and collected my resources. It was a total scam. after having it on fish and flax for well over a year this is what i ended up with. http://img193.imageshack.us/img193/2818/tacogetsriped.jpg Clearly there is a bug with MTK i should have recieved thousands and thousands of raw fish. Be careful dont run MTK for over a year its buggy.

You will find as you get older its not important to be cool. I worried about being cool when i was that age aswell and you know what it got me? regret and a big fat nothing. The people that are "cool" now at your age end up being nothings at my age (im 32). 168 hours in a week Standard 9-5 5 days a week job plus 15 minutes travel time (41 hours and 15 minutes) 7 hours sleep per day (49 hours) 1 hour eating and/or preparing food per day (7 hours) 30 minutes exercise per day (3 hours 30 minutes) 30 minutes pooping, peeing, bathing, cleaning teeth, getting dressed per day (3 hours 30 minutes) ------- 104 hours and 15 minutes After 60 hours of rs, 164 hours. Leaving you 4 hours.... to do anything with. and yes you can get 60 hours a week in easy. I worked for 50 hours and played all 50 of thoes hours and its easy to squeeze in a few hours Monday to Friday while you watch the most [developmentally delayed]ed tv shows with your girlfriend (i live with my girlfriend and she makes me watch crap like grays anatomy). And get a few hours in the weekend. And all you have to do is be smart about things and look for ways to do 2 things at once. For example i live on the 16th floor and i never take the elevator, i take the stairs every time. Even when im carrying groceries or something i bough at ikea. You can get a good amount of exercise and save time easily if you are innovative and look for solutions and don't cry about problems. Also you don't need to work out every day, 3 days a week maby 1 hour with weights and the stairs is more then enough cardio (try walking up 16 flights of stairs like 4-5 times a day). Also and i would like to inject here i think you are a clown with a name like JoeDaStud but i digress; You can come up with clever ways to do 2 things at once like i eluded to in one of the previous paragraphs. For example you can fish or woodcut while you prepare all your food for the week (i do all my cooking on sundays and it saves heaps of cash. Most people hemorrhage a massive amount of money on food and dont even know it.) Just because you are to dumb to figure out how to reach your goals in runescape and still have a life joethestud.clown.net does not mean other people cant do it. And before you spew out something asinine like "well i dont want to do that anyway and you are a loser" remember not everyone lives their life according to your standards. Some of us actually have a different look on things. I cant get 60 hours a week in anymore because that job is gone now. Im just saying you can have a life and be pro at this game easy. One of the reasons i play runescape is because i have been addicted to online games for over a decade and runescape is the only game i can play professionaly and still maintain a conversation with my girlfriend so she wont feel like i am ignoring her. Everquest and WoW require to much attention. Taco out.

Gee i dont know... maybe because he knows that people at school will bug him about it and the only place that might apreaciate his victory over the hardest cape to get in the game is the tip.it forums? You know, the place on the internet thats full of like minded people? .

I have played alot of other MMORPGs and runescape is the only one they totally overuse the word "noob". And i said it in another thread: 1: Some people have well paying jobs and can put in 60 hours of runescape a week. They have an active social life and manage a healthy body weight and eat well. Do these people have no life? 2: Some people are marooned in wheelchairs and can play well over 90 hours a week. Are these people no lifers? Sometimes internet people need to think before they talk.

you have no idea what you are talking about. Ultima online is still running last time i checked, same with diablo 2, everquest, ragnarok online, lineage, i could go on for days. and NONE of these games (with the exception of lineage) has ever had the amount of players runescape has. Runescape isnt going anywhere. I have played all these games and you know what they all have in common? There is always some clown like you spouting how they wont last x years yet they all survive. Nice to be called a clown by someone I've never talked to or heard of. All I am saying is that I just can't see RuneScape going for a lot longer with all the problems going on now and the distractions of other projects like MechScape. But oh well, continue the flame war. :roll: Sorry i called you a clown, that was dumb. For a mmo runescape has a VERY large player base i dont think its going anywhere.

The world would know more of them then they ever would of you. So who would the loser be? I would rather be the person who hasnt spent 'X' amount of thousands of hours playing an online game to achive god like status amongst all the Runescape community who would still think he is a no-life, loser, nerd ect... I think its funny how most of you think someone who plays ALOT has no life. I use to have a great job that paied well and allowed me to play runescape at work. I could put in like 70 hours a week and not have it affect my after work life. So in reality i was a runescape star and had a life. Also some people are trapped in wheelchairs and hospitals, all they can do is play games online. Would you call them nolifers? It seems to me that when anyone makes alot of progress in this game everyone is quick to bash them. I hate all the haters. Die in a fire.

There is heaps of cash in there i dont know whats wrong. Ill test it out for another week. Should make for a good screenshot when i take the booty.

Its been over 300 days. I left it for a week and it only went down 1%. I have been at 100% approval rating now for 3 days and i did nothing. Think i should collect it?

is there a limit on how long you can let your MTK run for? i only ask because my approval rating dosent go down anymore and im sure its been over 1.2 years. Thanks.

You cant get an easier 99 then fishing or woodcutting. Once the school year starts just fish and do homework. You can get straight A's, a cape, and like 50m cash. Also, you can watch all 10 seasons of stargate SG1 and get the cape. Fishing and woodcutting are the best capes. I wish there were more skills like them.

Well both those methods are a waste of time so dont even bother. If hes going for a defense cape he might as well train somewhere he makes cash and charms. for example i did 85-99 strength at basilisks and made about 20m. It was nice and fast, each basilisk gave 300 strength exp. As for fishing, he would be better off to just do monks. He will feel alot better about it at the end. Fishing at shilo will only shave about a week off the total time for the cape and he will have like 50m cash to spend. shilo fly fishing and bandits are total noob magnets. NINJA EDIT. Knowing what i know now getting 99 strength at basilisks was a total waste of time. I should have done it on slayer.

Fletching capes is how we all spot the noobs. Worthless cape, i refuse to get it. Fletching will be the last cape i ever get.

its easy to figure out (((how much construction exp you need for 75) - (how much you have)) / 60000) * (1000 * the price of oak planks) Presto thats how much it will cost. Did the math, it would cost you about 5.2 million to get 75. Cut that in half if you use SC hammers.

How could you get to 96 summon and not know the answer to that lame question. Whoes account are you using. DO you know how many charms 96 summon even takes? where did you get them all.

Basilisks are great combat exp but you need some slayer levels to kill them. They are 300 exp per kill and packed into a small aera so changing targets is easy. I made about 20m off the drops from 85-99 strength there. If i had to do it all again i would have got 99 str off slayer. Take the advice, train slayer.

They need to make combat familars attack faster. i can kill something before my summon gets a shot in.

burst rock lobsters, its very fast exp and good charms.

The best feature (and one of the main ones jagax made the ge for) of the GE is its ability to fix these issues. Jagax can easily pump items into the game and just take the currency out. Its pretty much the best part of the GE. And no one is the wiser. They can just make stuff that gets used every day. They can produce potions, sharks, whips heck anything. And because the cash dosent actually go into another players pocket, just the abyss of the GE, inflation will retract. Im sure if they start losing memberships over this they will use the GE to fix it.

crafting will cost abut 45m if you use SC needles on green dhide. Firemaking is like all the change in your pocket, and all the sanity you have left. I have no idea about the rest

a very large population of this game can afford to lose a few darkbows or whips. You will see them all the time on the battlefield.
