They will most defiantly make another way to train it. The cost of dbones is way to high at the moment. I wonder though, if they add a wicked combat prayer will they flag it nonpvp because of all the lamers? Im willing to bet they have already made one and took it out of the update because of the way the herb update went. The new prayers better not suck and i hope there is a level 99 prayer.

The game is different for alot of people. For me i like to pick a skill then find the best way to train it, then go all the way to 99. A skill it pretty much dead to me once i get 99, unless im using it to make cash while i watch tv. The capes dont do much for me, i dident even buy the capes for the last few 99s i got. I want to max out someday.

The people that wine about GP and buying skills are all noobs, look them up they have lame totals. The more you play this game the more cash you make. It gets to a point in your runescape characters life where the only thing left to spend your cash on is skills. Then the poor lazy noobs wine because you have an advantage. Gee i wonder who it was that slayed 50k dragons so i could get 99 prayer, chances are its the same noob crying because i bought prayer. Same with herb, where do you think all the herbs and seconds i used to get 99 came from. Chances are it was from a lower leveled character making cash on their way up the runescape ladder. All this wining by low leveled characters chaps my [wagon]. The herb nerf was not needed and ruined the best update of the year. jagax removed the RWT from the game so WHY SHOULDENT THE CASH WE MAKE ON THE WAY UP ADD UTILITY AND VALUE TO OUR CHARACTER. Its not like we have a GP PLEASE button we can mash for free cash. You think these potions ruin PvP? what about all the noobs PvP tricking brining all the cash into the game INFLATING THE VALUE of everything AND decreasing the value of the gold people have. You want to fix something in the game fix that ffs. Im willing to bet the smithing and prayer updates are going to suck monkey balls because of these noobs. GF jagax you are MMORPG dev noobs AND CAN SMOKE MY POLE.

So is it safe to say that when they update prayer there will be no combat stat booting prayers 90+. I dont even pvp and i think this nerf is lamesauce. Almost ALL of the people that train herb past 82 are pretty much max combat already anyway, its one of those skills you dump cash into because you have nothing else left to spend it on. Whats the point of getting +stats when you are already max and dont monster hunt anymore. This WAS the best update they did so far this year. They just ruined it because of a bunch of poor noobs. Only a handful of people had the herb level to use these pots anyway. If these potions were such a PVP issue why not make them tradeable that way the losers could buy them and compete. There is no diffrence between spending 90m on an AGS or spending 90m on herb levels. Way to look like MMO developer noobs jagax. You can smoke my pole.

I love this update, even though im already 99 slayer, maxed combat and really dont need the potions. Well thats not true, im training range atm and these new range potions are amazingg. This update makes it clear, train all your skills. My lame level 50 hunter came back to bite me in the [wagon] this update. I had to get a friend to get the grenwell spikes i needed for the range potion. Thanks Aquatic!

Well at the moment all things herb are sold out, so 200m or not the exp will be slow. When i did it antifires were the best.

Did anyone even read this? if implemented, it will have monsters that CANT be soloed. This is dedicated teams, guilds implement a DKP system type of play. If this gets made like its described it will be imposable to solo. Hell if i were developing this content i would have a requirement you have to have 92 in 4 of the stats mentioned in the start. Level 85 is total noob. I like where this game is going, this is the content we need.

It happens sometimes dont worry you are ok. Sometimes it takes a few min to fix sometimes hours. Take a deep breath, your account is safe.

Well from the slayer cave tasks you will get white mystic and the tower drops black mystic. You will get heaps of charms. You will get heaps of seeds, ranarrs, snaps, kwuarrms etc. One slayer task is about the time it takes to grow a batch of herbs. Grow some herbs between tasks. You will get many rune drops once you get some higher level tasks. You will need to do a few quests and get some diffrent sets of gear to really open up slayer. - Guthans until you arre 68 summon - Read ax man jacks slayer guide in AoW for quests. Iron dragons drop visages, i looted 2 on the way to 99 slayer. Dont skip irons. Spirit mages are cash cows. Not to mention you will max out your combat stats by around 92. I made about 200m off slayer i bet. I had made the cash for 99 prayer by the time i was 90.

This topic i depressing me. I love to play runescape, all my friends are married with kids. =(

You know, the type of cry that has snot coming out of their nose and druil spewing from the side of their mouth. I would then start a new game. Not sure what one, i would probably go back to everqurest, [bleep] i miss that game sometimes, i have been toying with the idea of starting again soon anyway.

That way people can fund a PVP/Pure account. Its to hard to get the cash to pvp these days from what i hear. Without pvp where do you think all the sharks and potions will go. Also they could totally mitigate the loss of pvp players by coming up with a good way to take stuff out of the game. I have some great ideas from other games i just know jagax would never implement them.

Did your friends max out their buyable skills? Money comes and goes in this game but skills last forever. Sounds to me like they weren't about skills though, they were about money, and once they had it they won. I guess you could say they all got a GP cape.

when i was leveling slayer i blocked: 1: Spirit mages. they took to long and i didn't care about the money anymore i just wanted the dam cape. 2: Kalphites: There is only one spot to kill them and it just causes arguments. i don't have time to argue with a noob. 3: Steel dragons: These just take to long, i wouldn't have blocked them if there were more of them. 4: Hellhounds. Same reason as kalphites. Do iron dragons, they can be a real payoff. Consider how many you will have to kill otw to 99. All the irons i killed payed for half my prayer cape from the visages.

Its against the rules but impossible to get caught for unless you admit it in game. Some people have their mains playing and use a lame account to chat, that way they can say anything they want and the wanna be mods can eat dirt. i know these days i am afraid to even type in this game. People get muted for the lamest things.

i had 70k deaths banked from slayer tasks and is still had to sink in millions and millions just to get to 96 from 74. I dont think you can make it to 99 on 50-60m. I think in the summon guide it says it costs something like 240m total to get 99 if you burst for the charms. i could be wrong.

I'm not really impressed by high levels/wealth anymore because it's more common now/I've experienced it myself. The only thing that amazes me anymore are unique accounts - i.e that d.i.y guy. and I don't really get complimented much because I don't spend my money on good gear lol [/hide] Haha I love that screeny, that guy in the dragon summed up the "look" from 2005 of what a high leveled player looked like! behold his 30 mill dragon chainbody, legends cape and shiny new rune boots from the new slayer skill :D Also I remember that desert boots were huge fashion back in the day! I totally looked like that full dragon douchbag back then aswell. I dont even own a whip or half my skill capes. I spend all my cash on skills. Ill buy a pretty outfit when im done. wow if you remember when desert boots were cool IRL you might be older then me! I have to admit i was a dragon douche bag too back then with my shiny dragon chain at falador world 2 :P Haha About the desert boots : i wasn't talking about real life I was just stating that in 2004-2005 many players loved the cooking gloves and desert boots "look" i still kind of do.. haha you must be older than me, im 20 next month so I wouldn't have been around for any fashion with desert boots! hehe. If you could mine pure essence in f2p they would be worth next to nothing in a few months. Rune essence is like the only collection cash maker thats not contested on the f2p side. F2P people are the slaves of runescape. i vote we send them all to the mine to get me some essence.

the ZMI is always faster exp just less cash.

The day before this hits live make sure you remove everything you character has on and its all banked behind a pin. I remember way back in the day the blizzard devs made a mistake on an update creating a naming bug. Basically all someone had to do was make a new char with your name but all in caps and the could log in as you and take everything. Not to mention use the same bug with their accounts and dupe everything. It was an epic debacle. If you were on the ladder you got hit. Its the one and only time i have ever seen a rollback announced and implemented. Why take a chance, log out naked.

i guess you learn some things the hard way. anyone need 125k coal?
