Somone was nice enough to sell me a battle robe set before exp weekend for some cash. How do i repair them and how long is it going to take me? Is it worth it? i need to burst up the charms for 96-99 summon.

I play runescape because: 1: its browser based 2: Its wicked hard to max out. 3: I can solo play 4: The interface is easy 5: And this is the single most important one. I can play runescape and maintain a full conversation with my girlfriend so she doesent feel like i am ignoring her. Rule 5 is the big one for me. I actually started playing wow a few months back and my girlfriend actually begged me to go back to runescape the other day.

Looks like you are training runecrafting and that is one of the slower skills...so even if we divide that number in half we are still at 2 decades. good fight smart guy.

Everyone here adding their 2cents are just a bunch of talkers... i want to see someone ranked in the top 1k come in and give their opinion. The top end players in this game have been playing for years and they arnt even close to 200m in all skills. toony isn't even 200m slayer and he has been at it for ages. The OP is drunk if he things he has a shot at 200m in all skills... its an unattainable goal. Like i said before EVEN IF THEY MADE IT TO 200M IN ALL SKILLS you still fail because thats a wasted decade.

There is no way you could possibly do this. Do you even have the slightest clue how long it would take? Toony still hasn't reached 200m slayer exp and he has been at it for ages. Getting 200m in every skill is like getting 99 in every skill MORE THEN 10 TIMES OVER. 99 in every skill is hard enough as it is and has only been reached by a handful of players (handful when you consider how many active accounts there are and how many have maxed out) and you expect to do it more then 10x over? Everyone so far has been nice and supportive but im going to be the first one to flat out tell you that you are going to fail. I have not even reached 99 in every skill, even if you did 10x what i have done (and you still would not have 200m in allot of skills), i have already logged over 6500 hours played and i skill efficiently. Thats 65000 hours and you are not even half way there. To put that in perspective: assuming you go totally poop-sock and played 80 hours a week, thats 812 weeks or 15.625 years... and you are not even half way there (thats only 10x what i have played and im not even 99 in every skill). Even if you could crank out 40k slayer exp / hour (and that is such a high number for slayer) thats 5000 hours just for 200m in slayer alone. Thats 208 days played (24 hours a day) assuming you played 16 hours a day thats 112 hours a week so slayer alone would take you 44.64 weeks. Assuming you can keep up with 16 hours every day and sleep 8. Thats almost a year for a single skill. And there is no way in hell anyone can keep up 16 hours a day for 44 weeks. Assuming you are a crazy person and take every thing i said as a challenge and you are "going to show me and the internet how wrong they are" and by some fluke of pure crazy you make it to 200m in all skills... this will take years, years and more years... more then 10 years. Check the math above.. Even if you did it you still fail because in that time you could have: 1: Become fluent in another language 2: Gotten a PHD in ________ (enter any profession you can think of) 3: Become an master in ________ (enter any musical instrument) 4: Trained to become an Olympic level athlete in ______ (enter any sport/event) I get so sick of hearing people saying they are going for 99 in _________ (insert any skill) and they dont even have ONE easy 99. But i hold my toung and let them figure it our on their own. But this... when somone says something as crazy as this i just have to speak up. Do the math it cant be done by a normal person.. Maby if you were in a hospital and THE ONLY THING YOU COULD MOVE WAS YOUR ARM due to some freak accident then MABY you would have a shot because what else could you do for the next 20 years. The game needs to remain open to everyone. 99 is already not open for casual gamers, two skills alone take as long as it takes to cape a full character on games like WoW, so where's the need in making this an even more elitist game? Even casual players can be efficient. You don't need to put in ten hours a day to get a 99. And FYI, a LOT of players have 99 in every skill (and over 99 dungeoneering). Please get us the % of players with 99 in every skill (you may leave 99 dungeoneering out since it's new), then we'll see if a LOT of players have 99's in all their skills. And I highly doubt any casual ever got close to 99's in all skills, since hardcore players struggle at it already. By casual gamers I'm not talking about everyone who doesn't play 10 hours a day, I'm talking about people who play up to three hours at best when they get back from work and such. :rolleyes: I'm sorry you feel that way. Due to effigies and the ease of making a lot of money quickly nowadays, maxing out is easier than ever. Is it still a daunting task? Yes, but even casual players can do it if they are EFFICIENT. Efficiency is the key. Well i always look for an efficient way to train my skills... ill max out next year and my stats are in my sig. I have over 6500 hours played. Casual players CANNOT max out in any normal amount of time. Maxing out in runescape is only for hardcore players. You are not even aloud to comment unless you have 99 in Runecrafting, farming, and slayer. Any moron can get 99s in combat stats, cooking, fletching etc.

Moving skill maxes to 120 is raising the bar to high, pretty much making it imposable for a normal human to max out their stats. They will never do it... there is high level content and then there is poop-sock high level content. I would quit if they raised all the skills to 120 max... i would never be able to max out.

Have a friend somewhere else in the world get you a year of membership and send them the cash online somehow. You must have a friend somewhere else in the world heck even a family member.

Go for agility, its fast and costs pretty much nothing if you grow the herbs for run pots while you train. Also, its one of the only 99s that you will actually use every day of your runescape career.

There is no was a runescape player holds the record... it has to be a lineage player.

+1 well said... i agree completely... I love skilling and watching online tv. Megavideo ftw! I am 43800 exp / hour played myself. I am sure i can get that to 50k seeing as how i only have easy skills left.

What kind of exp / hour is possible at the top end of the skill now?

I really enjoyed the collection skills over combat, i liked watching tv online or at home while i collected resources. Sadly they are all at 99 now.

They are ramping up to add elemental damage to weapons and armor via a massive overhaul of the smithing system.... you heard it from taco first! Stock up on smithing supplies it will be the next herblore.

This hits the nail on the head hands down. I have all the hard 99s (with the exception of dung, if thats even hard, im not sure) and i can tell you that runecrafting is the hardest. You almost have to hate yourself to level runecrafting to 99. PS: Mining is like fishing and woodcutting now... nice and easy.

A lot has changed since i bursted lobs for charms. There is new gear that saves runes or something... i forget. Whats the best setup for bursting lobs these days.....i need to finish of the skill, 96 just looks bad. Thanks

you mean people bot in this game? /sarcasm Sometimes i do the same thing in this game for a 12 hour session (i work 12 hour night shifts and runescape keeps me from sliting my wrists) and what really scares me is tripping the bot warden. When i get into a grove im sure i look like a bot sometimes, and im sure people report me. I love the "no life" comments, i play at work only pretty much, and never play at home. So tell me how can i no life? Haters are always going to hate! i dread the day i start hunter from all the bot horror stories.
