<3 Farming. @ the bigger question.. I feel like it depends on what skills as well as what levels you have. If you have say 2k total with 20 99's obviously it'll still be easy to get up levels. Farming gets a bad wrap. If you have lots of gold its a very fast cape to get. I did 92-99 in 31 days. Cost me like 80m.

Once you get around 2150 total its a celebration every skill level you get.

If you only need 78 slayer to kill this monster, whatever it drops is going to be completely worthless. Any noob will be able to kill it.

yup thoes numbers are about right. 99 strength is lame because everyone can get it so easy. I have nothing but respect for firemaking capes, its not an easy cape to get, i dont care what anyone says. Try a few days of solid FM. I didn't even make it 3 hours before i wanted to murder myself.

You get to a point in this game when the only thing your money is god for is to buy skills. What else am i going to blow 100m i have banked on?

Farming is so misunderstood. If you have cash to spend farming is very fast. I was level 92 farming on April 18, its now may 15 and i am 98. I could have done it faster but i dident do the math on trees at the start. Magics are way better then yews. 97-98 took me 4 days.

I remember reading somewhere on the official site they are going to make a NPC that will liquidate junk from the game sometime in the future. I think lending is your only option these days.

There are only 2 ways to train herb. 1: cheap and slow. 2: expensive and fast. There is no fast and cheap.

Tut tut tut. You already made your first mistake. Respectable and quick dont fit together. You can't expect a quick espectable 99 unless you have a few hundred million. As for your question, i would get Herblore. If you do herblore and farming together you could get it to 99 and make profit. Not true, agility is 55k an hour at ape toll with super energy potions. Its a fast 99. the question is, do you have the patience to run in circles for a few weeks? And i recomend you watch movies in a little window beside the runescape window while you play. Distracting yourself is the best way to make it to a 99. I watched all 10 seasons of stargate sg1 while i got 99 fishing.

Fishing was my first cape. I hope you make it. Whatever you do DONT go all the way to 99 fly fishing. Make sure you do it on monks. You might as well get a cape and 36m cash in the bank while your at it.

If you are looking for a farming cape ( and im sure you arnt, im just posting this for other people) in a reasonable amount of time. You are looking at about 12gp/exp It will cost over 100m

If the price fluctuations of a BGS has you worried its a good indication that you cant afford a BGS. I recommend you sell it and use something more in your price range. Like a whip. Godswords are dumb anyway. You are better off with a whip and a defender.

You would be a fool to camp them for a visage drop. Camping iron dragons in hopes of a visage drop is like buying an airplane for free peanuts. Just camp something else. Do green dragons, you will make the cash for a dfs in a few weeks.

I think you meant "runecrafting". No i mean slayer. You can get fast exp at the ZMI alter for runecrafting. Slayer is the slowest 99.

There is no way you will get 99 slayer in 6 months staying at 45 defence.

Money comes and goes in this game. Skills last forever. You play long enough, you get all the cool gear. All thats left to spend your cash on is skills. Sounds like you all haven't reached that point yet.

I tried all kinds of range amo and weapons. I found addy darts to be the best cost/exp.

Why would you let your rating get that low anyway. Every fri and wen just go get it back to 100%. Lol my MTK has been running for about a year now, never going uder 95%.

Do you have any idea the commitment it will take to get 99 slayer with 40 defense? Slayer is the SLOWEST skill to get to 99. And yes i am sure it has been done. An untrimmed slayer cape has been done. However, if you could accomplish this, toting that cape will pull alot of "wows" if thats what you are looking for. An untrimmed slayer cape takes patience and dedication. Hell, 99 slayer takes patience and dedication. Good luck.

One good public dupe method gone unchecked for a few weeks would pretty much kill the runescape economy.

"A lucky run"? You were talking about weeks of runs in your post. And that simply can't be true. One run with an average of 15 is already very high. I don't believe it when you say you've did more than one run with an average over 15. It's statistically pretty much impossible. My luckiest run in 15.7m farming xp has been 55/5, so I seriously doubt your credibility. My highest is 19, I don't think it goes any higher than that. The average is somewhere around 6.6-6.7, usually you'll have a few days with a lot of deaths and then no deaths for a while. 22 Snapdragons. 20 + 10% from secateurs. I know you're not just making this up, but it really seems like a lot. I have never even gotten 20 with secateurs, let alone without. It is pretty impossible to get that average over 3-5 patches or something (I'd say the chance on a 15+ patch is like 5-10%, meaning there's a 1/320000-1/100000 chance on 5 15+ patches), let alone over 100 (three weeks of one run/day) patches averaging out to that. If the max is 19, you'd have to get at least 3 patches of 19 herbs to make up for one patch of 5. It's simply not possible. Im with this guy The best i have done from all 5 patches was 54. and thats from 92-96. IT would be lucky to beat that.

We are talking about runescape accounts here not convicted child rapists. Everyone (and i mean everyone) as far as i am concerned deserves a second chance at this game.

Actually I know many people who have been permanently banned from one offense and it was something stupid like offensive language. Breaking the rules is Breaking the rules. Sin is sin no matter how small. Its all the same. You are am idiot. Please die in a fire. This is how new phats come into the game. I bet a good few hundred old accounts packin heaps of phats come back into the game. People deserver a second chance. Anyone who doesn't think someone can change after a few years has no place in a civilized society.

I can tell you right now you dont have the patience for a wc cape. Go for cooking or fletching, its more to your playstyle.
