The GE was made to take items and money out of the economy. If they did it with a money costing skill everyone would go bonkers. Now they can just make a few items and sell them on the GE, effectively taking cash out of the game and no one is the wiser. The RWT thing was just smoke and mirrors.

Now they just need to make mining like fishing and woodcutting.

I would love a mining cape. You have to hate yourself to level mining to 99 in its current incarnation.

I have failed grade 11 english 3 times and even i take the extra 3 seconds needed to write something legible. I have a spell checker built into the web browser, after i finish a post i just make all the red squigly lines go away by correcting the spelling mistakes. The way you compose a post is all we have to go on for an impression of you. There is no time limit on how long it takes you to put a post together. Why not get it right? I have nothing but love for you because i suffer from the same problem. I know you can do better. Now to add something to your topic. I have an online MMORPG addiction, i have been playing online MMORPGs for the last decade. I need to be making progress in an online game to feel successful. I use to play everquest and i was a total pro. I remember how hardcore that game was, it was crazy. We (people in our guild) use to be on call 24 hours a day. We would have to wake up and slay a dragon needed for one part of the cleric epic quest at any time of day that it spawned. The cleric epic made raids 100% faster, and there was always about 4 guilds in the same zone on call to slay said dragon 24/7 and this particular dragon only spawned like once a week, but i digress. Runescape is MMORPG lite, i can pop in anytime get some exp on a skill im working on and pop back out. I can make progress and feed my addiction and it dosent hurt my social life. Also, i can play runescape on any computer that has a web browser, making it easy to feed my addiction. This game lets me satisfy a need that use to cost me so much without costing me anything. And you are right, WoW is lame, i maxed out 3 chars in a few months. Lamesauce.

Didn't they say all the broken ones would fix themselves? its the merchants taking advantage of noobs. the noobs believe that broken picks will become rares. jagex isnt that dumb, and merchants are buying them out and selling again and then the noobs will lose money. this is y merchants r d-bags...taking advantage of someone elses stupidity isnt nice... Why not take advantage of them, the same noobs are responsible for massive price drops when they see noobswords (read that as godsword) drop like 1% in price. I have no issues with merchants taking money from dumb people. A noob and his money are soon parted. If we cant take advantage of noobs then who can we take advantage of.

Just use the spear, its only one task then you can be back to def training. The spear or ss kills them fast, the extra time you waste using subpar weapons for the job will offset the def exp you will get on the task.

Well you will have 68 summon already, i recommend you get some gear and a black mask and train slayer. You will make all the money back and more.

Comon guys im sure they dident write a whole new OS to run on these consoles. Im willing to bet they are all running a modified pre eixisting OS they yanked from somewhere. And what modern OS does NOT have a web browser that can run Java. You can play RS on any console that can access the internet.

No way i need to get 85 slayer even if i have to fight may way past every random a 1000th times lol :twisted: And as soon as you get 85 slayer you will have to fight your way past 10000 noob whip campers. You cant win.

Almost true, if that person that is playing has a high level in that skill, it is very nice for leveling. If you do not believe that a low level can get attack/str/def/mage/range/slayer xp with out getting hp, then check out this guy from RSC Forums. Any noobtit could have gotten 92-99 faster in the goblin hut.

Do what the guy above said but also grow herbs between tasks. The cash adds up.

Your plan is a typical noob plan and destin for failure. Start by setting a goal of 85 woodcutting, then reassess. Godswords are junk, a new player like you should buy a whip and some barrows armour. Grow herbs and train slayer.

Mages are slow even at 99, just do yews all the way.

Listen to what this guy is sayin. I maxed woodcutting and fishing while doing other things. They are pretty much free money. When you are at home ALWAYS be fishing or woodcutting (fishing is easier). Why not? it only takes a few seconds of attention every few min, even less now that the log out timer is changed. You can read online or for the big win study. You can probally make 80m in a semester and get straight As, AND get a fishing or woodcutting cape.

Try 7 years and only a dragon spear :) Whats your combat level, is that your rs name? Darksonic the original quote is only 25% of the way to max meele stats. In the grand scheme of things he hasn't even killed that much. He can train slayer and max out his meele stats and i bet he will make about 60m along the way. I had made enough for a prayer cape by the time i was 92 slayer. The longer you play (and actually play, meaning getting exp) the more cash you make.

Dont cut any corners (like when people level to 99 wc on willows), do the math, and keep skilling. Thats all you need to do. I have never killd a gwd boss and i have heaps of cash. And i have spent hundreds of millions on skills. You can make 100m alone getting 99 wc and fishing.

I feel your pain, all these other haters are morons. Jagax can mute my stink nuggets. I have private chat off because of their lamesauce mute hammer. imo having to NOT interact with the people in game for fear of a mute is a fail for runescape. They need adult servers where you can say anything.

Construction exp is only like 430k gold for 60k exp. In the end it will only cost you like 13m for 75 con. If you are going to get a prayer cape, trust me get the alter yourself, it will save you 20 hours. You are already investing 90+ million anyway. Prayer cape is worth every cent. When i got mine i had 12k left in the bank at the end and i regret nothing. If you can get one, do it.

Slayer takes so long to level. I wouldn't be surprised if the slayer number doubled and tripled soon.

They dont joke about that subject. What was the total levels on that account? That mute is not comming off anytime soon.
