Twitter posts about the Black Eyed Peas are freaking hilarious right now. But yeah, probably one of the worst Halftime Shows ever. Decent game so far though. Not watching it with my girlfriend because I forgot she had a show audition. #-o Oh well.

Other than because I'm a Bengals fan, I think the Packers will win. Basically for the reasons stated above. Although my girlfriend and I will probably just watch for the commercials.

I'm the exact same way. A lot of the artists that I've come to love were discovered at my local library for free, but I ended up buying their other albums later on, so they still gained from me. Typically, if I'm going to pirate music, I make sure that they're already fairly mainstream and well known. I always support smaller bands by purchasing physical copies.

So I've been having trouble with my weight lately. I started college weighing around 185 lbs, by Christmas break I was down to 175 lbs, and I just weighed myself today at 165. That's 20 lbs lost so far through the school year. I haven't been working out, I eat 3-4 meals a day depending on if I go to Subway at night, and the other meals aren't too much smaller than the ones I would have eaten at home; I still eat until I'm full. I have a doctor's appointment for later this week. Possibly going to get some bloodwork done. I don't know what's going on...

So my girlfriend decides to go home for the night - probably because of all the craziness that is happening in her dorm as I type this. It's 11:20PM and someone's already gotten sick and I'm pretty sure there's some business going on in another room. I don't blame her for going home, but it really messed up my plans for the night. I took one shot with them for the girl's birthday and went back to my room.

Just say you go to the real-life section and avoid the actual RS section. :thumbup: That's what I do anyway... Then comes the "You ACTAULLY used to play Runescape?" question. But yeah, I'm following the Tip.it Crew one now, even though nothing really gets tweeted on it anymore. I think following the Stellar Dawn one would be a little much. More because I probably won't play than anything. Still love you though Bows. <3: And of course I love you guys. <3: :lol: Anyways, I'm sitting here waiting for my girlfriend to finish up practice before we figure out what we're gonna do tonight. Probably not much because of last weekend's horrific ending. Also, it's her roommate's friend's birthday, so their friends will be getting extremely wasted tonight and tomorrow night. We'll probably end up having to take care of them. *sigh* When do I get MY weekend to party?

So we just missed the ice storm/bizzard. All we got was a little freezing rain. Mostly rain. Didn't even have a chance of school being called. Today I had lunch with a family friend from church - really interesting guy who's a alum of the university I'm attending. I think this will be a once a month thing. Now I'm typing up a history paper on 19th century Italian-American immigrants. Fun.

American Mary - The National Listening to some National before they appear on Letterman tonight. Seeing them become fairly well known is kinda cool since the lead singer graduated from my high school and the band formed at a local college.

My floor has an odd contest in which we try to get each other with sly Facebook links. We kept score for a while. Good times. :thumbup:

I'm not taking stock in anything right before the return of the wilderness. Some crazy things are going to happen over the next few days and weeks, and we all know that idiots don't need a big reason to do what they do. I can see this as just a reaction to what's coming. I've always hated and avoided these spammy areas.

So today I got a calculus quiz back that I would have gotten a perfect score on, but I got .25 of a point taken off because my tangent line wasn't straight enough on one of my graphs. I mean really? Then I got the next 40 listening memorization songs for my History of Rock class. The section is titled "Teen Idols of the late '50's & early '60s". This is going to be painful. Went to a blues festival this past Saturday. Last year's was better, but this one still had some memorable moments. 1) During one band's set, I got hit on by a very drunk mid-40's lady. Made me laugh 2) One of the bands had a drummer that was 102 years old. He could still drum fairly well! 3) The last band that we saw had a 17 year old kid on lead guitar. Man could he shred. He's even better now (more variations and style) and played a few solos behind the back and over the shoulder. 4) Saw the best saxophone solo that I've ever seen. I dubbed it "Sex on Sax".

By the time I got back from the festival, she was already passed out in her bed, and from what I heard about her night, she got sick quite a bit before she passed out. I hardly got any sleep last night because I felt so bad for not being there. I should have known that this would happen. She's pretty small and doesn't handle anything well, even stuff like caffeine. Waiting for her to wake up this morning to nurse her back to health. She has her last show tonight - probably not good to do with an extreme hangover. In other news, the Jersey Shore night pictures are up on Facebook but my friend forgot to rotate them. I'll get those up on the RL pics topic hopefully later today. :razz:

Sitting in my girlfriend's room as she memorizes lines for her next show. She's currently freaking out that she can't properly rhyme "hand" with "command" because of her self-proclaimed thick Cincinnati accent. I told her that no one else would notice except her and that speaking inflections like that are splitting hairs and not really worth the effort. She's so cute when she stresses like this. <3: Today I got up at 11ish and had some people over to my dorm to watch a basketball game. The game itself was pretty boring and we won by 20 or so points. Decided to get some homework done, but I somehow ended up here. Tonight my father and I are going to a blues festival for a father-son bonding night. Pretty excited about it, except the band that I wanted to see won't be performing this year. The gf will be attending a cast party while I'm away, so I may have to take care of her when I get back from the festival. We'll see.

So angry right now. Girlfriend's show was sold out tonight. I've got some explaining to do later. :mad: Gonna try to make it for the Sunday show now I guess. This really messed up my weekend planning.
