The cardinal that chooses his pope name to be Peter is going to be one cocky [bleep]. I just can't see it happening.

Google Music
Did a search of Last.fm's forums and found a user script that works with Greasemonkey (I think) that scrobbles. http://www.danielslaughter.com/projects/google-music-with-lastfm/ Gonna try it out here in a second. EDIT: It works. Currently scrobbling from Google Music Player.

Google Music
No having to worry about transferring files back and forth from computers. Playback sounds fine from what I've heard so far. Still up in the air about the interface as I haven't used it heavily yet, but it seems fine. iTunes for Windows has gone to hell recently since the introduction of Ping and all of the other stupid added crap that does nothing but slow down the program, even if they're turned off. None of that on Google Music. The downside: It's browser based.

Google Music
Has anyone tried out Google Music? If I understand everything correctly it's basically Google's version of iTunes/Windows Media Player that stores your music library on their systems so that you can have access to and stream it from any device that has access to your Google email (phone, tablet computer, work computer, etc.). That's what peaked my interest in giving it a try. It's currently in beta testing, and people can sign up with their email to receive an invitation to join. I got mine today and am in the process of uploading my music library. It takes a while, but you can play songs that have finished their upload while the rest of your library finishes. For more info, you can read up here: http://music.google.com/about/ There's also a link to ask for an invitation on that page if you'd like.

Live Concerts
Haven't seen them, but YES YES YES. If you can get tickets and go, do it. From what I've heard about their live shows, you will not regret it. Going to try and see Truckfighters in July if the venue isn't 21+. Stoner rock ftw.

Jagex taking stance
And the same sessions they did back in 2007. Basically this. Bot busing sessions have been going on for a long time. Nothing really new about that unless they've amped them up since I've last attended one.

Live Concerts
I did that once with Wolfmother tickets. Didn't work out. Hope it turns out better for you. Got front section tickets to My Morning Jacket in August. Cost a lot more than I wanted to pay, but I think it'll be worth it.

Live Concerts
Saw the National last night at their homecoming show at the MusicNow Festival. Pretty good show, but an interesting crowd there. It was at Cincinnati Music Hall, where the symphony usually plays, and I guess people who have season tickets there also got tickets to see this festival, so there was the normal crowd on concert-goers as well as a bunch of older couples (like people in their 60's and older). Created a weird atmosphere in the beginning - I thought we may stay seated for the show (we didn't). They played all of the songs I wanted them to, as well as the recent songs they did for a movie and the song they did for Portal 2 (first time they had played that one live) and an unplugged, sing-along version of Vanderlyle Crybaby Geeks which was really cool. How do you deal with stress?
I find that a 45 minute meditation to some relaxing music does the trick. Lay down, control and elongate your breathing, pinpoint stressed out areas of your body, tense and relax those areas in rhythm to your breathing. Works like a charm for me. (Thank you meditation class in high school)
