I aint competitive at all, except at c wars when some noob tells you are "pWned",when you were jumped, you just find em again and "pWn" em right back. Other than that i aint competitve. I ask my friends what they are up to but it is just a friendly question, i aint checkin to see if they are ahead of me. Most of my good friends on RS are all interested in different things so i really aint bothered wheter they are ahead of me.

I've seen it before and i agree with the driver that threw the cup at them when they were protesting at the side of the road...they are freaks, boycotting funerals and such, they have no respect for the families, which was the main thing that bothered me :shame:

After a small burst of fairly hardcore skilling and the membership running out, i decided to take a break from rs until after my holidays and with work and other stuff, i was pretty busy. Its during this break that i realised all the time spent skilling on rs, i could have spent in real life, which at the moment is pretty good. The other thing i realised is that rs and real life are similar, in rs a 99 cape earns you restecp (Ali G...Anyone? :mrgreen: ) but most of the folks on rs you will never meet but your acheivments in real life are praised (or frowned upon...depends what you done :P ) by people you meet day to day at school and work. Also, for all you begging phr33 st00f pl0x noobs (i know there aren't many on tif but you never know, I doubt most of em will read this far anyway :-k ) , work hard and you will be rewarded, eg, in rs, you raise a skill and you get a wider variety of stuff you can do, work in real life and you get paid, but with all the time i used to play rs, during my break our band got together and practised a hell of a lot more, the reward...we won the inter school battle of the bands in my area and we get to go play at the district wide event :thumbsup: Thats my 2 pence :D

It was lord of the rings battle of middle eart. Also, websites such as this are missing boxes and borders around quotes etc and the norton interface is missing all the yellow bits....i tried changing the resolutuion to 1074, it made the size look a little normal but the above problems still happen...it soooo annoyin :x

Now my computer is massive, every icon is a lot bigger than normal and i wonder if anyone could help me fix it. I had just finished playing a game before it happened and think it may be that the screen readjusts to fit the game and hasn't went back to normal. Can anyone help? :-k

I couldn't agree more. When a noob asks for something i usually reply,heres some advice. They then say they dont want advice but cash or items...At least with advice you won't get killed in the wildy and lose it and have to start begging again. Also, advice is usually a sure way to make money, but the noobs i have spoken to dont realise this. And if i have any spare steel or black weapons il give to a noob who isn't begging... \

Thanks, took a while to get to 91 as i started just before my exams and had to study, also work and a social life as well, so basically, whenever i wasn't doing anyhting and had free time, i would be down at the 'ole hunting grounds.

Come on, it is a game, the dog is pixels and has no feelings and shooing it away isn't cruel... :wall: When hunter was released, i didn't see anyone complaining how we were catching wild animals and killing em... Here in scotland, there is a ban on smoking in public, good thing too, now you can go down the local boozer and not come home smelling of the sweaty truck drivers [bleep]s. Mind you, they all smoke outside the pubs and clubs, so when you want to go in or out you get a lungful of someones second hand smoke

If you are in goals and the defense are pretty balls, don't take all the blame for any goals that go in, its the whole team to blame. When we played, there was this one guy who always got blamed...even tho he was a striker, he had a big ego so in the end it was funny. Also, remember to tie your football boots, someone on our team had tucked his laces in (god knows how he could run) and took a shot, his boot came of and hit the goal keeper square in the mouth :lol:

Lol, thats what i said when noobs were "protecting" the stray dog when i was shooing it away. "Don't do that, wat has teh dog evr dun 2 u??!!11?
