  1. Slayer xp is based on a monster's hp, but not always equal to it.

  3. You have to be about twice the monster's level for it to not attack you.
  4. Arrow Type: steel Bolt Type: broad Combat Level: 124 or 125 f2p (not sure) and 133 p2p
  5. Yes it does! On the right hand side of the treasure trails screen there's a "tip it treasure locator" it owns for coordinates.
  6. Okay, so I have only one witch left-Aggie. Has anyone been able to complete the triangle puzzle? How can it be done? A screen shot would be fabulous.
  7. 1. 1k fish per hour is realistic for rogue's den and cooks guild if you have varrock armor 3. 2. Cooking gauntlets are your friend. If you want faster xp, I did monks 90-94, and sharks 94-99.
  8. Okay, well can't you not use a cannon on spectres? I don't think they exist outside of the slayer tower, and you can't use a cannon in the slayer tower. If they do then ignore my ignorance lol. Abyssal demons are a pain to range, so good luck lol. Dusties have great safe spots in the smoke dungeon too. Gargoyles have safe spots in the slayer tower, not sure about the tunnels. Iron dragons are actually worth unblocking since you're ranging. Nechryaels are awesome to range. I just use the slayer tower. Spiritual mages-zammy has a higher drop rate for boots and I use iron knives on them. Steels I keep blocked too. Suqahs are easy to range and have about 3 different safe spots on lunar isle. Waterfiends take a really long time to range when compared with melee. Void range should be fine for any task with a safe spot, but ranging abyssal demons is interesting without armadyl armor. If you bring guthans it's definitely doable, but it's a lot faster to melee them in my experience. I'm a big fan of the rune c-bow with broad bolts for most tasks. I use iron knives on spiritual mages and bloodvelds...just seems to go faster.
  9. I only pray on spiritual mages and dark beasts. Otherwise I use guthans. I also only use a bunyip on waterfiends.
  10. Waterfiends are the best crimson droppers...the question was the best gold droppers. Waterfiends are not good for gold.
  11. No, but it sure helps lol. Honestly, I get more enjoyment out of getting 99 in a skill than getting lots of money. However, I really do want some more expensive items, but having them doesn't matter so much because they're expensive, just because I like them.
  12. Fire giants are really good for gold charms, so are the dagannoths under the lighthouse and rock crabs. Fires are the best in my opinion though.
  13. Rare: H'ween masks Expensive: either SGS or a spirit shield
  14. I find slayer to be enjoyable and a decent moneymaker. I like training combat through slayer because I don't get bored training on the same thing constantly, tasks are level appropriate, and I get some good drops, lots of charms, and a ton of clue scrolls. Slayer is further great because of the new points system. It makes you nice money if you trade points for slayer dart runes, especially now that pvp has been released. So if you factor in clue rewards (which can be worth over 12m if you get lucky), monster drops, and swapping points for runes slayer can make some pretty sweet cash. If you want to talk charms, it depends on the task. At waterfiends you can get well over 70 crimson charms per hour. More like 100.
  15. I've always spelled it "gilded" I don't think I've seen people spell it differently. What really bugs me is when people want to "barrow" something >.< Guilded isn't technically a word...a guild is a place for people training the same skill like the fishing guild. Gilded or gilt means embellished with gold. So it's a gilded altar.
  16. The new items degrade only when in combat, just like barrows. However, it cannot be repaired. Corrupt items last 30 minutes before disappearing while non-corrupt items last an hour before you'll lose it.
  17. Thanks guys! Time to own some dark beasts :)
  18. Well I have my outfit, but the door to the dark beasts is locked >.< I spoke to the head mourner but he didn't give me the key. It's not on my keyring either.
  19. Okay, so I have dark beasts for slayer...and I can't get to them. I really don't want to put together a mourner's outfit cause it'll waste 6 inventory spaces and I tried the death altar way, but there's a light door blocking my exit. So how can I get to the stupid dark beasts?
  20. Ringmaster from the circus or red tricorn from trouble brewing.
  21. I'm training slayer and get tons of level 3 clues per day (around 3). Sometimes I just get junk, but you're likely to get junk on level 2 clues too...and level 3 junk is worth a big more than level 2 junk. I say do whatever clues you get.
  22. There are a few safespots at the black demons in the taverly/members' dungeon, mainly around the pillars on the western wall.
  23. The main difference is that the rune defender has better attack bonuses while rune shields have better defense bonuses, so it depends on whether you want to do better damage or take less damage.
  24. Cooking because I love to cook and crafting because I make jewelry in real life.
  25. The spirit shields came out as a balance to the dfs for mages and rangers. They are great for ranges and mages, but the dfs is still the best melee shield.
